Brad Pitt's Los Angeles home 'ransacked', police say
Actor Brad Pitt's home in Los Angeles has been ransacked by a trio of thieves. Three suspects broke into the home in Los Feliz late on Wednesday through a front window and "ransacked the location," according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Police did not confirm the home belonged to the Oscar-winning actor, but the address matched that of a home Mr Pitt purchased in 2023. Authorities said the suspects fled with stolen items, though it's unclear what was taken. The actor was not home at the time of the burglary, US media reported. Mr Pitt was in the UK earlier this week for the London premiere of his new film F1, which is released on Friday. He was accompanied by fellow Hollywood star Tom Cruise and Lewis Hamilton, who has seven Formula One World Drivers' Championship titles. Authorities said the burglary happened around 22:30 local time on Wednesday. LA police would not confirm the value of items stolen. The BBC also contacted representatives for the actor. The large three-bedroom home sits just outside Griffith Park - which is home to the famous Hollywood Sign. It is surrounded by a large fence and greenery that shields the home from public view. The burglary follows others reported in the city targeting other celebrities, including Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. Last month, a man was also arrested on stalking and vandalism charges after he allegedly rammed his vehicle into the gate of the home of Pitt's ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston. Brad Pitt home robbed while he partied in London — Was it an inside job?
ALBAWABA - Brad Pitt' s Los Angeles home robbed during his London premiere. Also Read Jeff Bezos slammed for 'Buying Venice' as wedding sparks class war During the late hours of Wednesday night, three criminals broke into Brad Pitt's home in the Los Feliz district of Los Angeles. They entered the house through a front window, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department. Aileen Getty, an oil heiress, was the previous owner of the home that Brad Pitt purchased in 2023 for $5.5 million. Although the police have not confirmed that the home belongs to the Oscar-winning actor, the address is identical to the one that Pitt purchased before. US actor and producer Brad Pitt (Photo by HENRY NICHOLLS / AFP) The residence, which has three bedrooms, is situated next to Griffith Park, which is the location of the well-known Hollywood Sign. Additionally, it is encircled by a tall fence and abundant vegetation. On the other hand, the criminals made their getaway after "disturbing its contents and stealing multiple items," as said in a statement released by the police. Although the investigation is still underway, the authorities have not yet determined the nature or worth of the things that were stolen, nor have they identified the individuals who committed the theft. The occurrence occurred at the same time that Pitt was in London for the premiere of his newest picture, F1, within the European continent. Alongside him, Tom Cruise and Lewis Hamilton, the reigning Formula One world champion, promoted the picture, which is due to be released in theaters on June 27. He also made an appearance in the film. During the promotional tour, Brad Pitt gave an interview to the media and addressed the following question: "I've been wondering lately: Do I still have stories to tell? Is there anything else that I can impart to you? Is there anything or anyone that I'm still looking forward to? He concluded by saying, "[This film] has given me that passion again." In the city of Los Angeles, such an incident is not the first instance of its kind to occur. There have been recent instances of burglaries committed against the residences of several celebrities, including Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. After breaking into the gate of Jennifer Aniston's home while she was married to Brad Pitt, a man was taken into custody and charged with stalking and damage. The incident occurred one month ago.

Thieves scaled fence, busted window before ransacking Brad Pitt's L.A. home, sources say
LOS ANGELES — Police are investigating a reported burglary at 'F1' actor Brad Pitt's home, two law enforcement sources familiar with the incident told NBC News on Thursday. Pitt was not home at the time, the sources said. A Los Angeles police spokesperson confirmed a break-in at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at a residence in the Los Feliz neighborhood but did not identify who lived there or who owned the home. Thieves ransacked the home and took an unknown amount of miscellaneous property, officials said. The value of the items was not immediately disclosed. Police were looking for three people who climbed over a front fence and broke in through the home's front window, the sources said. It's the latest in a wave of burglaries in recent years that have targeted high-end neighborhoods across Los Angeles and Southern California, where VIPs and celebrities have been victimized. On Valentine's Day, the Los Angeles home of actor Nicole Kidman and musician Keith Urban was burglarized. A week before that, the Southern California home of Los Angeles Football Club star forward Olivier Giroud, member of the French National Team that won the 2018 World Cup, was burglarized. In that case, thieves made off with what a source described as 'a significant amount' of jewelry and other items. Authorities have not said whether any of the crimes are connected to South American burglary crews that have been targeting high-end homes from coast to coast and have been fixtures in the Los Angeles area for more than a decade.
