Watch Video: MP cop's ‘Sirf Tumse Pyaar Hai' tune warning to e-rickshaw driver is the "cutest thing on internet right now"
In a country where traffic violations often lead to stern warnings and heated arguments, one Madhya Pradesh police officer has gone viral, for breaking into song instead of raising his voice. Yes, you read that right. A traffic cop turned singer to correct a repeat violator, and the internet can't get enough of it. The now-viral clip features traffic constable Bhagwat Prasad Pandey, who stopped an e-rickshaw driver operating his vehicle without a front windshield. But rather than giving the driver a routine lecture, Pandey chose music as his method of communication. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The Best Method for a Flat Stomach After 50 (It's Genius!) Lulutox Undo Using the tune of the popular Bollywood song Humko Sirf Tumse Pyaar Hai, he sang out: 'Chacha, sheesha kyun nahi laga? Chacha, sheesha kyun nahi laga? Live Events Ek mah mein, teen baar hum, Tumko ye bata chuke hain chacha sun lo tum.' In translation: 'Uncle, why haven't you fixed the glass? We've told you three times this month already.' Why the video touched a nerve online The video, posted by Pandey himself on Instagram, has now clocked over 8 lakh views and been reposted widely, earning praise for its unexpected charm. With more than 3.7 lakh followers, Pandey has built a reputation for using creativity and calm to manage tense situations. Many applauded his unique approach. One user wrote, 'Your behaviour should be taught at police training academies across the country.' Another said, 'This was the sweetest thing I saw on my feed today, so refreshing amid all the negativity online.' A third added simply, 'Sir, you have a lovely voice.' A follow-up with a twist In a second video, Pandey met the same driver again, this time honouring him with a garland and a laugh. Offering more context, the officer explained: 'He hasn't been able to go to Gwalior to get the glass. It's 120 km away. That's why he's using a plastic sheet instead.' He then turned to the camera to address viewers directly: 'Please don't use plastic sheet hacks. When it rains, it becomes difficult to drive. Prioritise safety.' A gentle reminder, delivered with heart While the officer's message was serious, driving without proper safety equipment is risky, his method of delivery proved that sometimes, humour and humanity can work better than harsh words. In a world full of chaos, his song struck a chord, reminding everyone that enforcing rules doesn't always require raising voices. Sometimes, all it takes is a tune, a little empathy, and a sense of humour. Inputs from TOI

Not car or house, Jackie Shroff got a toilet as gift after becoming Bollywood star
Veteran Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff , who rose to fame in the 1980s, has often spoken about his modest beginnings in Mumbai's Teen Batti area. Despite becoming a star early in his career with films like Hero (1983) and Teri Meherbaniyan (1985), Jackie continued to live in the same chawl where he grew up. At a time when he had already become a recognizable face in the film industry, his neighbors in the chawl decided to honor his success in a rather unconventional way — by gifting him a personal toilet. A Unique Gift After Stardom During an interview with Filmfare, Jackie recounted how, after achieving success in cinema, he was given access to a private washroom in the chawl. The locality had only three common washrooms shared by around 30 residents. As filmmakers and industry colleagues started visiting him at home, they often had to wait in line to use the shared facilities. This didn't sit well with the other residents, who felt it wasn't right for a public figure like Jackie, or his guests, to stand in queue. Understanding the growing inconvenience, the residents offered Jackie exclusive use of one washroom. Although he initially declined, saying he and his friends were fine using the common toilets, they insisted and secured it with a lock for his personal use. Jackie mentioned that at the time, even having a cupboard in the house was a big deal, highlighting how small things carried great value in those days. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The Simple Morning Habit for a Flatter Belly After 50! Lulutox Undo Still Connected to His Past Even after decades in the industry and dozens of successful films to his name — including Parinda, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Rangeela, and Border — Jackie has remained deeply attached to his roots. He frequently visits his old home in Teen Batti and cherishes the memories from those early days. In a conversation on Vickey Lalwani's YouTube channel, Jackie revealed that he has been trying to rent the room where he spent his childhood. However, the landlord has refused to lease it back to him. Jackie offered to pay the same amount as the current tenants but said the landlord has continued to resist the idea, possibly due to concerns that Jackie might keep it permanently. Jackie's Long Career and Grounded Persona From being a street-smart youngster to becoming one of Bollywood's most dependable actors, Jackie Shroff has appeared in an array of films across multiple languages. Known for his versatile roles and earthy charm, he has taken on both leading and supporting characters in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, and Punjabi films. Beyond acting, he is also known for his environmental advocacy. Even after all the fame and success, Jackie's simplicity stands out. His story about being gifted a toilet isn't just a quirky anecdote — it reflects the deep bond he shares with his community and his unpretentious attitude toward fame.

I'm so triggered... plus the ending is just infuriating,' they wrote. — YumisuLoL (@YumisuLoL) About 'Squid Game' Squid Game is a high-stakes South Korean survival drama , rooted in dystopian horror, and created exclusively for Netflix by writer-director Hwang Dong-hyuk . The show centers on a hidden, deadly competition involving 456 participants, each drowning in financial distress. These contestants voluntarily enter the contest, risking their lives by playing lethal versions of traditional children's games. Their ultimate goal: to claim a staggering ₩45.6 billion (approximately US$39.86 million) grand prize. The show's title references 'ojingeo,' a real-life Korean playground game resembling the shape of a squid, which plays a symbolic role in the story. A Story Sparked by Real-Life Economic Anxiety Hwang Dong-hyuk's inspiration stemmed from his personal financial hardships and the growing social inequality in South Korea. As he navigated economic instability himself, the contrast between wealth and poverty served as the creative foundation for the story's grim narrative. Hwang first wrote the script back in 2009, but faced repeated rejections from production houses that were unwilling to take on the project. It wasn't until a decade later, in 2019, that Netflix—seeking to broaden its range of global content—expressed interest and greenlit the production. A Record-Breaking Debut Season The debut season of Squid Game launched on September 17, 2021, and took the world by storm. Audiences were captivated by its chilling portrayal of desperation, betrayal, and greed. With Lee Jung-jae leading the ensemble cast as the central character, Seong Gi-hun, the series combined emotional depth with intense action. It quickly became Netflix's most-watched series of all time, captivating viewers across borders and languages. Critics lauded its storytelling, visual style, and social commentary, cementing its place as a landmark in streaming entertainment. From Acclaim to Awards The show's global popularity translated into major industry recognition. It received a wave of prestigious honors, including six Primetime Emmy Awards and one Golden Globe. Its cultural impact extended beyond the screen, influencing fashion, internet memes, and even political conversations about wealth and class. Continuing the Legacy: Season Two Following its overwhelming success, the show returned for a second installment. Production for Season 2 began in July 2023, and it was officially released on December 26, 2024. The continuation delved even deeper into the haunting themes of survival and morality, keeping the audience engaged and invested in the fates of the remaining players.
