Hey Parents, Just A Friendly Reminder That Prime Day Is Here, So Don't Miss Out On These Deals

Amazon Prime Day is here! There are more deals than you could ever begin to look through on your that's where we come in. An Owlet Dream Sock for 27% off (tied for its lowest price ever, folks) — a tech-lovers dream baby accessory. Keep this around their tiny toes at night to monitor their pulse rate and oxygen levels. If anything falls outside of the normal ranges an alert will go off on your phone so you can wake up and check on things in an instant! Promising review: "After using this for almost three months now I absolutely love the Owlet! As a new mom who's been afraid of SIDS as I have a family member whose baby brother passed away from SIDS before all of this technology to prevent it, I was afraid of the possibility and this product has helped me to sleep at night. I had pre-partum and now postpartum depression and one thing I have never worried about every single night is my baby sleeping soundly all throughout the night. I do still check on him but I'm not panicking trying to figure out if my baby is breathing. I love being able to see his sleep cycle and keep up with his movements! To anyone looking for a great gift for a new mom to be able to use for a long time as well as for several children, this product is the one to go with. I feel that in this day and age, this is not a want but a need, especially for parents with anxiety!" —Alice WoodPrice: $199 (typically $273.89) A 100-piece set of Picasso Tiles at Amazon for 30% off (it's the cheapest they go for), which reviewers say work with and are comparable to Magnatiles (so if the kiddo in your life already has some, these can expand their set), for some extra bang for your buck *and* a sale on top of that. Promising review: "I wish I had known about these sooner! PicassoTiles are *exactly* like Magna-tiles but way more affordable. We just received the 100 tile set today - an early birthday gift for our soon-to-be-four-year-old. We have two sets of Magna-tiles - one with the grommets (purchased new last year) and one without (purchased second hand [no idea how old they are]). The PicassoTiles are the same weight and size as the MagnaTiles and have the same exact magnets. They do not have metal grommets, but the old MagnaTiles are indestructible, so I know that these will be too. And PicassoTiles are much prettier in my opinion, because they are slightly more translucent and have brighter colors. They integrate into the collection seamlessly. I highly recommend this product. And if you are considering buying any kind of magnetic tile toy for your child, I recommend purchasing as big a set a you can for versatility of play. Our son has played with these all day and night off and on every single day since we bought them last year. After integrating the new PicassoTile set, he hugged his enormous structure and declared them his A wonderful toy!" —skater momPrice: $27.99 (originally $39.99) And check out all the deals on toy favorites here. A universal stroller board for 20% off — there's no need to spend big $$ on a custom standing pad stroller, just attach this (at an already discounted price!) to the stroller you own and turn it into a spiffy extra spot for your older kiddo! Promising review: "This attaches to both of my strollers very easyily and the kids love it. We live on on dirt road and it still works perfect. We have three kids who are three and under, so the extra space is helpful." —ErinPrice: $47.99 (originally $59.99) A Y0140 iRobot Roomba for 49% off (bringing it to $10 cheaper than its last lowest price) because if robots are gonna steal our jobs, it might as well be the bad ones. This bagless machine vacuums AND mops at the same time with a special brush, meaning you might actually have clean floors for once. Promising review: "I love this robot. We got this because our baby is constantly on the floor, so we just wanted a little extra help with keeping the floors clean. We run it every night, and seeing how much it picks up blows our mind. We have two dogs, so dog hair and Cheerios are mainly what we get, but it has definitely made a difference with our floors on top of what we already do to keep our floors clean. Highly recommend. We have vinyl wood floors, so it runs fine on them, but it can go on carpet as well. We just leave the room doors closed because it is very loud when it runs and we don't want it to come into the rooms." —MakaylaPrice: $139.99 (originally $274; also available in two other styles for a different or no discount) A Vitamix Propel 750 blender for 40% off (a new lowest-ever price!) with all the reviewer-beloved Vitamix features (quality build, super-fast and thorough blending, easy cleanup) with *five* preset options — smoothie, hot soup, frozen dessert, dips and spreads, and self-cleaning — to make whipping up family meals and treats even easier. Promising review: "Bought this product on sale, and it was worth the investment. It blends better than any other blender that I have had. Its multiple options allow for anything from smoothies to purees. I love that I can make soup with this blender. It has plenty of power and a large enough volume to make plenty for a small household. It is also easy to clean! If it is on sale, and you need a better blender, I definitely recommend it. Otherwise, it is very expensive at full price." —Daniel & AmandaPrice: $379.95 (originally $629.95; typically $578.84 from a third-party seller; available in four colors) — and shop all the Vitamix deals here! A Graco Extend2Fit car seat for 35% off — the 2.0 version, which is a new lowest-ever price. It converts from a rear-facing seat to a forward-facing seat (and a highback booster seat!) and has up to 5" of additional rear-facing legroom to keep your tot safe and comfy in the car for years. Promising review: "Easy to install, great quality, cute design, my daughter loves it, and it is the perfect size. The latch is great; her other car seat dug into her neck, and this one doesn't at all. It is perfect for safety and comfort. All around super happy over this car seat 💯 recommend for anyone needing a new car seat." —Michael CrossPrice: $149.49 (originally $229.99; sale price only available in the 2.0 versions; available in seven colors) — and shop all the Graco deals here A Watermelon Ball for up to 24% off because kids will invent 12 new pool games before you even finish applying sunscreen. This thing sinks, floats, bounces, and dribbles *underwater*, which basically makes a magic trick disguised as a pool toy. Promising review: "This is an awesome pool toy for kids! It keeps them entertained and works for all kinds of games — basketball, soccer, keep-away, you name it. It's especially fun with a group (three or more is ideal), but even solo, it's still a blast. Just make sure to fill the ball completely with water — if there's even a little bit of air left inside, it'll float instead of sinking like it's supposed to. Once it's filled properly, though, this thing is unbeatable. Highly recommend it — kids are going to love it!" —LosemPrice: $18.99+ (originally $24.99+; available with or without an LED light) A Tushbaby hip carrier for up to 35% off that'll keep you from straining your back when your kid simply insists on being carried all the time. Reviewers love how comfortable it is and also go wild over the amount of pockets it has for all sorts of gear (including your own phone, keys, and wallet). It's recommended for children between 8 and 45 pounds and can be used in four different holding positions — feeding/breastfeeding, side carrying, front facing, and face-to-face. See why this mama calls the Tushbaby "the best invention for parents of young children" on TikTok. A true Brooklynite, my daughter started *insisting* on walking outside at 11 months old. This side carrier helps us move things along faster when she gets tuckered out. I love using this on the subway, as she can sit down and move around without my needing to get her out of a carrier. It's also stellar for breastfeeding on the go, whether I'm sitting or standing. BTW, Tushbaby is a small biz run by three California mamas and specializes in products that bring a little more ease to everyday parenting review: "This has been one of MANY items I have purchased thanks to TikTok, and I'm glad I did. Super easy to use, easy to adjust, and most importantly it helps with support tremendously. It comes with pockets and a place to hold bottles/sippy cups, which can be very handy. My 8-month-old weights around 30–35 lbs, and he's basically attached to me 24/7, carrying all day was killing my back and arms! Thank God for this invention, my arms and back can rest." —Jennifer CallePrice: $54.99 (originally $84.99; available in three colors) Bose QuietComfort wireless headphones for up to 43% off if you're in need of a reliable, noise-canceling pair that'll block out the sounds of your colicky kid when you are *trying* to help them out but are getting way overstimulated. With a padded over-ear fit, 24 hours of battery life on a single charge, and phenomenal audio, they will help keep you calm even when your P.S. These come with an audio cable with an in-line microphone so you can use them without a Bluetooth connection or even when the battery is depleted! These were my own summer Prime Day purchase last year! I'd had an older version for *several* years, and, like their predecessor, this new pair has basically become part of my body. Noise-canceling headphones were a really important tool for me to have on hand with my newborn. I love having them on during stressful nights of teething because they keep my tired self from going too wild when my kid just needs to be comforted. Bless. review: "It's hard to imagine that these headphones leave any room for improvement. Their spatiality and clarity are excellent. The accuracy of music reproduction is good enough even to pick up occasional flaws in the original recordings and/or differences in recording processes. Noise cancellation has improved dramatically vs Bose's original entry years ago. Great for use in a gym environment as well as airline travel." —HarrisonPrice: $199 (originally $349; available in five colors) Outlet covers for 20% off with a hidden pull handle, so that exposed electrical sockets (your toddler's favorite temptation) can be a parenting problem you quickly check off your list. One pack includes 45 cover plugs, so these may become my new parenting party favor. I got these after a coworker recommended them in her own post (oh yeah, I'm a total sucker for BuzzFeed shopping posts) and they have been a success! Promising review: "I purchased these specifically because I've had the regular type and get tired of breaking my nails trying to get them out. Plus, a toddler is watching how you do it, so these are a bit more stealth if you cover your hand while flipping out the handle." —Fair Comprehensive ReviewsPrice: $6.72 (originally $8.50; also available in packs of 32, 42, and 55) A universal cup holder for 30% off because, after spending an arm and a leg on a stroller, you realized the darn thing doesn't include a cup holder. This can attached to your stroller or diaper bag. It comes in an array of fun colors and has drainage holes in the bottom. Sip, sip, hooray! I have an unreasonably nice stroller and I feel very lucky. Although my luxury stroller knows how to keep my kid comfortable, it underestimated how often I'd be taking the kid on walks just to go to Starbucks. This was an absolute necessity. I love that it doesn't fill up with condensation and my drinks don't wobble when I walk! Ryan & Rose is a family-owned small business that creates stylish accessories parents will love. Reviewers also love adding this cup holder to other objects like their spin bikes, beach chairs, shopping carts, and more. I picked up one of these and attached it to my son's Doona Liki Trike (which has no cup holder or pockets). I use it to hold my wallet and keys whenever we go for a walk around the neighborhood — it's great!Promising review: "I am obsessed with these holders! My kids were playing with my husband's old gaming steering wheel and it ended up breaking apart a week ago. They were pretty upset because they love pretending to drive so I looked to find another one. There were cheaper options than this one but they were just the plain steering wheel, no buttons or gear shift so I decided to give this one a try. My boys loved it so much that I had to sit with them for hours having them take turns playing so they wouldn't fight over it. I didn't realize there was a little window that shows the car on the road but my 3-year-old LOVES it! He likes to set the timer on the gas gage and when it goes off he lets me know he's pulling into the gas station (there's a little gas station in the window part). Beware, you might all fight over who gets to be Daddy Pig, though (dibs!!!) Promising review: "I bought this board game for my granddaughter, and it's been an absolute hit. She's a Peppa Pig fan, so seeing her favorite characters on the board made her light up with excitement. It's a fun, simplified version of Monopoly that's easy for little ones to understand and play without getting overwhelmed. I especially love that this game gives her a break from the constant screen time on iPads and tablets, which is something I'm very mindful of. It's important to me that she engages in activities that stimulate her mind and allow for face-to-face interaction, and this game does exactly that. We've had some wonderful bonding time playing together, and it keeps her entertained while learning basic counting, money skills, and taking turns. I highly recommend this to any family with young kids—fun, educational, and most importantly, screen-free." —Bling QueenPrice: $9.99 (originally $19.99) A *red* Toniebox Audio Player Starter Set for 44% off, which is essentially a tiny stereo that toddlers can control all on their own, just by swapping out which character magnetically sits on top of it. My kids adore theirs — even though they're only 3 and 1 — they have no problem understanding how to turn the Toniebox on, change the volume, and place different characters on top to tell various stories. He's a big fan, as am I! It can also be used while it's charging, so there's no need to worry about your toddler having a meltdown if they want to play with it while the battery is drained (phew). This specific kit comes with the Toniebox as well as Tonies figures of Woody, Lightning McQueen, Simba, Winnie-The-Pooh, and Playtime are so many different Tonies you can add to keep the fun going — check 'em $99 (originally $159.99, other colorways reflect this price) and check out everything else on sale from Tonies! 33% off a Nanit monitor and wall mount to help you keep a watchful eye on your babe while they sleep — you can also easily see stats on how long they've been asleep or if they're standing and not-so-patiently waiting for you to come scoop 'em up. I switched to the Nanit monitoring system when my daughter was born because the app has an incredible split-screen option that lets me watch both kiddos at once — it's been a game changer. It's super easy to set up, and once you've done so, there's nothing more to do but the occasional software update. The app itself is simple: it shows you a view of your kiddo's crib, notes how long they've been asleep, if they're crying, or if they're standing. The audio and picture is so clear (including the night mode) and the camera itself is unobtrusive to my kids' rooms' decor. I also love that even if I'm out (rarely) I can check in on my sleeping babies for some peace of review: "This baby monitor is an absolute parenting game-changer — a solid 10/10 in every possible way! The seamless synchronization with your phone, even when you're away from home, is revolutionary. The real-time alerts for sound and motion keep you informed about every move your little one makes. The standout feature is the ability to meticulously track your baby's sleep patterns, capturing every waking moment, putting down, and sweet falling asleep. Revisiting memories of your baby sleeping is an emotional treasure, and the expert advice on optimizing sleep for your child is a priceless addition. If you seek a baby monitor that seamlessly integrates advanced technology with practical parenting insights, look no further. This monitor has elevated my parenting journey, offering unparalleled peace of mind and heartwarming memories. A resounding 10/10!" —Savannah WoodenPrice: $199.99 (originally $299.99) Up to 39% off an Instant Pot Vortex Plus air fryer for anyone who's allergic to cooking but wants to eat something other than takeout and microwave meals. And given all its features — not only is it an air fryer, but it can also broil, roast, dehydrate, bake, and reheat — even self-proclaimed cooking enjoyers may find themselves using this gadget instead of their oven! Promising review: "I do all the cooking in our house, and I was debating about purchasing an air fryer. I had heard good things about them, but I just did not see myself using an air fryer all that much. I figured it was just another high-priced kitchen gadget that would end up gathering dust. I did a lot of research and watched a YouTube video from America's Test Kitchen where this air fryer came in number one. I decided to purchase this air fryer. I can tell you after a couple of months that I use this product at a minimum of 4 or 5 times a week! I have made pork chops, steaks, and chicken breasts, and it is great for reheating items. But the winner is two things. It makes the very best bacon with little mess, and it makes chicken wings perfectly. I purchased some Buffalo Wild Wings sauces, and my family has buffalo wing night every couple of weeks for one-fourth the cost of going out. It is also very easy to clean and almost no mess at all. If you are considering buying an air fryer, take the leap and get this one. I could truly not recommend it more highly." —wwrrmm1953Price: $64.99+ (typically $106.37+; available in two sizes) — and shop all the Instant Pot deals here 34% off a full HD Dash Cam (setting a new record for lowest-ever price!), so you can take off on your summer road trip with some added peace of mind. This gadget features built-in Wi-Fi GPS, night vision, and a parking monitor so all of your bases are covered. Promising review: "We purchased this camera about 18 months ago and it has now paid for itself 100x over when it provided evidence to the police and insurance that my wife was not the one at fault in an accident that totaled her vehicle, and the other party lied to the police. It was easy to install and had clear instructions. Great suction cup with integrated GPS antenna, which made installation a breeze. The camera will slide off the mount if you want to hide it while parked without removing the entire mount. Crystal clear video, front at 4K and back at 2K, produces high resolution video where you can read license plates and even identify who was driving another vehicle." —Prime RiskPrice: $85.49 (typically $129.99) And finally, 20% off Death Wish Instant Coffee Packets for parents who, like me, don't brag about how well they can hold their liquor but their caffeine. If you can handle the 300mg of caffeine per cup – these are the beans for your child-rearing life. Note: According to the Mayo Clinic, up to 400mg of caffeine is safe for most healthy adults. 31 Best Prime Day Deals For Parents 2025

Amazon Prime Day is here! There are more deals than you could ever begin to look through on your that's where we come in. A 100-piece set of Picasso Tiles at Amazon for 30% off (it's the cheapest they go for), which reviewers say work with and are comparable to Magnatiles (so if the kiddo in your life already has some, these can expand their set), for some extra bang for your buck *and* a sale on top of that. A Philips Sonicare ~ExpertClean~ toothbrush for 50% off (its best price, and the first time it's been this price since *October 2022*) for cleaning your family's chompers *far* better than you all get with manual brushes — with less work, too. It comes with a charging case for traveling, and it even has a SENSOR THAT TELLS YOU IF YOU'RE BRUSHING TOO HARD. The technology we have!! Promising review: "I've been flying through a few of the cheapest sonicares for years, and after frustration, I caved and paid for this high-end one. It's really a treat to have a cadillac of a toothbrush! So many options. It's so nice to have a simple on and off button instead of one button controlling all the settings and taking forever to turn the brush off. This brush has one simple power button. A separate button to change the various modes to brush with and when the brush is on you can adjust power level. The brush comes with some really fancy brush heads, and they are a game changer. I might have to buy brand name brush heads after this. They're longer and curve to hit your teeth just right. You will instantly feel the difference after brushing with a sonicare, treat yourself to a higher end one. Your dental hygiene is worth it. You're worth it." —CharlottePrice: $99.95 (originally $199.95; available in three colors) — and shop all the Philips Sonicare deals here. The Sonicare Protective Clean toothbrush is 36% off, bringing it down to $69.95. A Y0140 iRobot Roomba for 49% off (bringing it to $10 cheaper than its last lowest price) because if robots are gonna steal our jobs, it might as well be the bad ones. The latch is great; her other car seat dug into her neck, and this one doesn't at all. It is perfect for safety and comfort. All around super happy over this car seat 💯 recommend for anyone needing a new car seat." —Michael CrossPrice: $149.49 (originally $229.99; sale price only available in the 2.0 versions; available in seven colors) — and shop all the Graco deals here A set of 22 Rubbermaid Brilliance containers for 35% off (they've only been this cheap one other time in the past year) made of BPA-free Tritan plastic that's designed to *stay* crystal clear and not absorb any odors. They are truly leak-proof (perfect for meal prep or lunches!) and have built-in venting lids for easy reheating. I bought this set a few Prime Days ago and it's one of my favorite Prime Day purchases ever. I LOVE these review: "For nearly all of my adult life, I was simply getting Gladware or Ziplock, letting them slowly deteriorate over the course of a few months, recycling them (or losing them), lather rinse repeat. It finally occurred to me to splurge on some good ones. I'm not one to review things very often, let alone food storage containers, but here we are. I've been so impressed and satisfied with these in just a few months that I feel compelled to tell y'all about them. They're super airtight, the plastic is crystal clear, and they've each been through the wash a dozen times with no particular sign of wear and tear yet. Usually by this point, the Ziplocs are cloudy, warped, have holes, etc. But these guys, they just keep ticking. We've put soup directly in them, frozen them, you name it. Worth the extra few bucks to keep a few more items out of the landfill." —Eric BeneauPrice: $84.99 (originally $129.99; smaller sets are also on sale) A Tushbaby hip carrier for up to 35% off that'll keep you from straining your back when your kid simply insists on being carried all the time. Thank God for this invention, my arms and back can rest." —Jennifer CallePrice: $54.99 (originally $84.99; available in three colors) A Samsung 65'' Frame tv for 40% off (that's a whopping $800 in savings, and the best deal it's *ever* been!) for anyone who has always had a hankering for filling their home with classical paintings, photographs, and modern the click of a button. You just happen to get a luxury television while you're at it. This smart TV has an anti-reflection matte display, and it's Alexa-compatible. If your family, like mine, lives off of not much more than water and Bluey episodes, this is the TV you want. This includes a slim-fit wall mount. Promising review: "Wow. This is just what I hoped it would be. I am an enthusiastic photographer and have generated picture files from all over the world. The problem is how to display the results. Printing and mounting are expensive and there is only so much wall space for displaying the prints. The solution? This tv! Set-up was easy. My photos now happily and beautifully being displayed in a slow-motion (by choice) slide show. The results are fantastic. Just what I hoped. This is a hit for sure. I am very very pleased. Now we have to, maybe, buy a second. Excellent product!!!" —CharlesPrice: $1,197.99 (originally $1,997.99) Bose QuietComfort wireless headphones for up to 43% off if you're in need of a reliable, noise-canceling pair that'll block out the sounds of your colicky kid when you are *trying* to help them out but are getting way overstimulated. It includes a realistic steering wheel, a scrolling GPS, keys, lights and sounds, and a beeping horn. Promising review: "This thing is awesome! Anyway, we loved it so much we bought another one the same afternoon so both boys can drive together." —BrittanyPrice: $34.64 (available on Melissa & Doug for $76.99; often available for cheaper on Amazon)Check out the Melissa & Doug landing page for all their current Prime Day deals. 2nd Gen AirPods Pro for 40% off (the lowest they've gone for!) that make a great gift for older kiddos — or yourself tbh! Promising review: "I bought these going into it 'I'm going to hate them.' But these have surpassed every expectation I had. My friend was talking about the noise in a call one day and it made me annoyed and these have something weird with Apple phones where they can block out almost all noises while making calls for the person you're calling and for you. Everyone knows Apple has their own technology work better with their phones or whatever it's no hidden thing, but let me tell you, these sound so crystal clear when listening to music, social media, and on calls. The quality alone is so nice! And the features, immerse (you can listen around you) adaptive (it'll block out white noise and annoying sounds) and noise cancellation (you can't hear just about anything around you) it's so wild. These things aren't even that tight in my ears but it's like you put noise cancellation on and it shuts off the outside world. I have this as a mechanic and it's just white noise everywhere with these in it's so comfortable walking around the shop having like ear plugs in essentially. Also, the battery life is great. I charged it fully when I got them and it's lasted me like a week on the case? I have my headphones in around 6 hours at work listening to social media. I probably take them out to charge them walking around the shop or going on break and I've never seen the buds really go below 80% after hours of listing tbh which is kinda wild. For the price it's worth every dollar and more. And to connect to your phone it's as easy as just opening the case and done." —Ethan ScottPrice: $149.99 (originally $249) An LCD writing tablet for 30% off for your budding artist. The best part? After five minutes, the gunk will be so loose that you can DESTROYYYYYY it all the way this big dude came after Manhattan. Promising review: "Worked fantastically. My wife had doubts about how egregiously dirty and caked-on the gunk in our 15-year-old microwave was (she thought we'd need serious chemicals!), but with only one pass of using this, it got 80% of all the gunk built up. A second pass a few days later got most of the rest!" —Some HyenaPrice: $9.99 (typically $12.99) Vacation's Classic Whip SPF 30 for 20% off, a wildly beloved "dessert for your skin" that feels so lightweight and decadent to apply that reviewers can't get enough of it. Hello, I'm a walking cliché of Woman In Her Mid-30s Who Is Very Obsessed With Protein, since it took me three decades to realize I'm in a much better mood all day if I cram it in at every opportunity. I'm very, VERY picky about the protein bars I'll eat — Barebells and Nick's are my go-tos — and these Built bars knocked it out of the park! They have a truly marshmallow-like consistency and the most ridiculously satisfying texture and chewiness. The flavors I've tried have all been spot-on, and they don't leave any kind of aftertaste. Melania Trump Calls Barron 'Little Donald.' Here's Why the Nickname Makes Perfect Sense

Barron Trump, the youngest of President Donald Trump's five children, has picked up many of his father's traits. So much so that his mother, First Lady Melania Trump, has long called him 'little Donald.' Height-wise, that no longer is the case—6-foot-7 Barron towers over his parents and half-siblings—but that was only part of what inspired the very apt nickname. Here are some of the similarities that Barron and Donald share. Like his dad, Barron was born and largely raised in New York City. Donald grew up in Queens, but Barron spent much of his childhood across the East River in Manhattan. The family home at Trump Tower included an entire floor just for Barron. The 19-year-old still calls it home today, in fact. He began attending New York University in fall 2024 and opted to live off-campus instead of in one of the dorms. In an interview with the now-defunct Parenting magazine, Melania explained the 'little Donald' nickname for Barron originated because his personality is so similar to that of his father. 'He is a very strong-minded, very special, smart boy,' she said. 'He is independent and opinionated and knows exactly what he wants.' If you're not convinced, just take a look at these pictures of Donald when he was in his early 40s and Barron today. The NYU freshman is studying in the Stern School of Business, an indication that he could eventually join the family trade. His half-brothers, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, currently run the Trump Organization as Donald did before he became president. Donald Sr., who earned an economics degree from University of Pennsylvania, was instrumental in expanding the company's reach beyond the middle-income housing it was known for under his other father's leadership. Barron also seemed drawn to building and real estate as a kid. He liked to build cities and airports using Lego bricks and Magna Tiles. He also has his own aesthetic. 'He likes clean and white,' Melania told Parenting. 'He builds big projects. He has a big imagination, and it's very impressive. He loves to build something and tear it down and build something else. He is very detailed at drawing. We travel often, and he remembers everything he sees.' Melania is known to be particularly involved in her only child's life, but she has shared how Barron spent a lot of quality time with his father in childhood. Often, they enjoyed family time at their Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida, where they played golf and ate dinner together. We hope you love our recommendations! Some may have been sent as samples, but all were independently selected by our editors. Just FYI, BuzzFeed and its publishing partners may collect a share of sales and/or other compensation from the links on this page. Say goodbye to cries of "I'm booooored" and hello to some time to yourself. 1. A 100-piece set of Picasso Tiles — reviewers say they're not only comparable to kid-beloved Magnatiles (which are $80 more for the same size set) but also work with the Magnatiles you may already have, so you can expand a world of creative and educational play for much less. And of course, just like Magnatiles, they'll keep the kids busy for hoooours. Promising review:"I wish I had known about these sooner! PicassoTiles are *exactly* like Magna-tiles but way more affordable. We just received the 100-tile set today — an early birthday gift for our soon-to-be-four-year-old. We have two sets of Magna-tiles — one with the grommets (purchased new last year) and one without (purchased second-hand [no idea how old they are]). The PicassoTiles are the same weight and size as the MagnaTiles and have the same exact magnets. They do not have metal grommets, but the old MagnaTiles are indestructible, so I know that these will be too. And PicassoTiles are much prettier, in my opinion, because they are slightly more translucent and have brighter colors. They integrate into the collection seamlessly. I highly recommend this product. And if you are considering buying any kind of magnetic tile toy for your child, I recommend purchasing as big a set as you can for versatility of play. Our son has played with these all day and night off and on every single day since we bought them last year. After integrating the new PicassoTile set, he hugged his enormous structure and declared them his A wonderful toy!" — skater mom Get it from Amazon for $39.99. 2. A Crayola light board that'll take your growing artiste's masterpieces to the next level — their designs deserve to shine brightly, and I mean that literally. Plus, the board is reusable, so they can wipe away old drawings or tracings and start all over again (and again and again). It includes an LED light board with a removable tracing panel and six gel markers. They can just draw directly onto the light board — plus, the removable back panel makes tracing images incredibly easy. Then, turn it on to light up the designs and showcase them — even in the dark. Promising review:" This light board is awesome!! My 6-year-old loves to draw and absolutely loves this board. The markers nestle into the back of the board for storage, which makes this mom happy; the board cleans easily with a damp paper towel or wipe. This is a great car activity for traveling. Love the added feature of the removable blackboard for tracing — so fun! Will make a great gift for any art lover!" — Danielle Campbell Get it from Amazon for $32.50. 3. A magnetic shape-shifting puzzle cube if your kid is into fidget toys — this is wayyyy cooler than the average one. It can be manipulated into over 70 different mesmerizing shapes, thanks to the design with built-in magnets! You can also collect all 12 puzzle box designs and connect multiple magnetic cubes to build even larger structures and sculptures. Promising review:"I was hesitant about spending $25 for this toy and even more concerned when it showed up and I saw the size, but this got the award for favorite Christmas gift. Both my 9-year-old and 12-year-old play with it constantly!" — Blair001 Get it from Amazon for $24.99 (available in 18 designs). 4. Or The NeeDoh Nice Cube, a super-viral sensory fidget toy with juuuust the right amount of resistance for a super-satisfying squish. And it always goes back to its original shape! Fair warning though: you might need to get one for every kid on your gifting list this year, otherwise fights might break out. Promising review: "I bought four of these; one for myself and three for my kids. My oldest already had one and everyone else was fighting for it. They're stiff at first, but the more you use them, they get softer with the warmth of your hands. I've actually used it as a calming mechanism when arguing with my husband and it worked. It's easy to clean with a little soap and water, and then it feels brand new again. It's very durable, too. My 10-year-old will be watching a movie and smashing it up, and it's still in good condition. Definitely worth it." — Dixie Get it from Amazon for $8.70 (the color is either blue, pink, or purple and gets selected for you at random!). 5. A marble run set so kids can work on developing their problem-solving skills while having a HECK of a lot of fun watching the colorful marbles zip and zoom through tracks and obstacles. Promising review:" My 5- and 3-year-olds (and me) have spent hours building towers and watching marbles clatter down these chutes, steps, gears, and spirals, HOURS! And they're not bored yet! It's also educational learning the physics of slopes by experience. Plus, it comes with enough marbles that losing a few doesn't matter." — Joyce Parker Promising review:" This is a really neat toy that has provided literally hours and hours of enjoyment for my 4-year-old nephew (and me!). The pieces fit well together, it is very sturdy and stands up well even on carpet. There are an infinite number of ways to build these runs, and this toy never gets boring. Highly recommended." — Becca Get it from Amazon for $54.99 (available in three styles). 6. Or a Gravity Maze marble run designed to challenge kiddos to think ahead to figure out how to build paths so the marble can drop down to the final cube. Puzzling and satisfying! The game includes 60 challenges, ranging from beginner to expert, so they can work their way up to the harder ones. Amazon, Promising review:" What a great combination of construction, puzzles, and games! My 5-year-old and 8-year-old niece were able to challenge themselves to some of the levels (the 8-year-old was more capable of solving them on her own). The adults also found themselves fixated on playing the different levels as well! It was challenging and fun! We love marble runs and games, so this was a perfect fit. This is one of the few games that everyone asks to play, and it's perfect when we have guests of kiddos over and keeps everyone busy and engaged for hours!" — Crystal Brown Get it from Amazon for $24.65. 7. A two-pack of Playfoam Pals packed with ~sensory foam~ that's suuuuper fun to play with and squish (like slime!) without creating a huge mess ( or drying out after being left out. And that's not all: There's also an adorable pet hiding inside they'll love to play with and collect! Promising review:"These are amazing for creative sensory play! I love that the foam is non-toxic and that it doesn't stick to everything. My kids have left it out numerous times and it never, ever dries out. And the little pet pals are just the cutest. The kids were so excited to see which ones they got and literally spent hours playing with them and the foam. These would be perfect for stocking stuffers!" — NYMommy Get a pack of two from Amazon for $11.36. 8. A *magic* Crayola watercolor set — what makes it magic, you ask? Well the paints *only* work on the special paper that comes with it, so they can bring out their inner Jackson Pollock without getting paint all The kit comes with a paintbrush, 18 special pieces of paper, and six clear paints that change colors when they hit the paper. The brush lights up to indicate what color is currently on the brush. Promising review: "I saw this everywhere and wanted to get it for my kids. My kids love this magic light brush paint set. It's perfect for toddlers who want to paint but you don't want the whole mess. The only problem I found was the yellow after a few swipes wouldn't make yellow anymore no matter how much I rubbed the brush on the palette. It would be an orange-brown color. It wasn't a deal breaker for us. Overall, it's fun, and the kids love it." — Ashley 9. A dino race track complete with 144 pieces of flexible track, *cars shaped like T. Rex heads that light up when pushed along the track* and realistic dino figures — every other race track set available suddenly looks so boring... Once they open it, every grownup in the room is going to want their turn to play, too. Promising review: "My son received this set as a gift for Christmas and he really loves it. I asked the gifter where they got it and I have since bought the same set two times as a gift to other toddlers my son's age. And each time it's a huge hit! Kids are just obsessed with this. Even myself had fun playing this with my son. I like how versatile the tracks are. Totally worth it!" — olive Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (also available in blue). 10. A 174-piece 3-in-1 Lego kit (honestly it's hard to choose the best Lego kit these days!) so they can build three different poseable(!) dinos creatures — a T. Rex, a triceratops, or a pterodactyl they can play with, display, or disassemble and rebuilt into another delightful prehistoric powerhouse. There are other 3-in-1 kits — like a shark + crab/squid/anglerfish for $12.99, unicorn/seahorse/peacock for $9.25, dragon/phoenix/fish for $9.49! Btw, Lego has a cool gift-finder feature so you can brows by the age of the kid you're shopping for, their interests, and your budget! Promising review: "I got this set for my daughter and it's legitimately awesome. So far we've put together the T-Rex (amazing) and the Pterodactyl. It's great that you can build multiple things from one set, though the T-Rex uses almost all the pieces and the other two are a bit smaller, but still super fun. This would be a great birthday present, too. So happy with this purchase. Nice small box, has three sets of instructions and hours and hours of fun. Also, the toys are sturdy enough to play with after you build them." — FzzPoofy Get it from Amazon for $13.59. 11. An interactive Fingerlings baby monkey with sensors that respond to touch, a unique personality, and over 70(!) different sounds and reactions that'll warm their little heart. As soon as they put the Fingerling on their hand, its heart will start to beat, and it'll say "hello" — how cute is that?! Not ready for a pet yet? They'll adore this little guy. Promising review:"Adorable and affordable. My kiddos love these little things. The packaging is easy to open, and the fingerling works right out of the box. When turned on, he/she will make the cutest little sounds and noises that keep the kids smiling and occupied while this busy mom catches up on all the things." — C. You can all play together and dream of being on your own tropical vacation instead of watching slush pile up outside. Amazon Promising review:"My daughter loves the Bluey figure toys, so we had to get this for her for Christmas. It's adorable, and with the plane turning into a resort, it's a great value. It was hard for me to find in stores but Amazon came through! The character figures are great and it looks like fun. I'm sure she will be excited to receive it!" — Ashley S. Get it from Amazon for $69.99. 13. A pair of functional kids' binoculars for the birder-in-training — now they won't have to steal your (...more expensive) pair but can still get a good look at the nature around them! Not only do they work great (parents are even tempted to use them), but they're also rainproof and super sturdy when dropped or thrown around — just listen to this parent: "My destructive two-year-old still hasn't figured out how to break them, and that's saying something." Amazon The set also comes with a protective carrying case, a neck strap, a cleaning cloth, and a bird identification sticker book. Promising review: "Awesome binoculars for kids! My 3, 5, and 7-year-olds all use them and get to bird with mom and dad. I have even used them in a pinch, and they work great. We have had other brands of binoculars for them, and they do not fit as nicely in their hands or focus as well. Promising review:" Fun toy set for a creative toddler. My newly-turned-3-year-old daughter instantly fell in love with this set! She loves seeing how high she can stack the ice cream cones and pretending to serve Mom and Dad her creations. She's been obsessed with climbing things around the house, and we *desperately* needed a distraction to get her to stop, and this is working so far — she plays with this thing for HOURS!" — West Family Get it from Amazon for $43.35. 15. And a Melissa & Doug interactive wooden dashboard for your backseat driver. This dash is packed with realistic features, including a steering wheel, ignition key, a horn that really beeps, hazard lights, etc. It's never too early to start practicing for their road test! Amazon Promising review:"This thing is awesome! My kids were playing with my husband's old gaming steering wheel, and it ended up breaking apart a week ago. They were pretty upset because they love pretending to drive so I looked to find another one. There were cheaper options than this one, but they were just the plain steering wheel, no buttons or gear shift, so I decided to give this one a try. My boys loved it so much that I had to sit with them for hours, having them take turns playing so they wouldn't fight over it. I didn't realize there was a little window that shows the car on the road, but my 3-year-old LOVES it! He likes to set the timer on the gas gauge, and when it goes off, he lets me know he's pulling into the gas station (there's a little gas station in the window part). Anyway, we loved it so much we bought another one the same afternoon so both boys can drive together." — Brittany Get it from Amazon for $36.49. 16. With each bath, their collection of dinos will grow, so they'll have a veritable Jurassic Park to play with when tubtime is over. Promising review:"My younger sister is having a phase where she loves taking baths, but at the same time obsessed with anything "dinosaur involved." I decided to give her these dino surprise bath bombs, and she absolutely LOVED them; she even requested to take multiple baths per day. One of her favorite parts of the bath is where the bomb dissolved to reveal a small trinket — and even though it was nothing special, she'd play with it afterward for hours on end. Most of the colors were pretty good, too, except for one that looked like she had an accident 😅. This is a perfect gift for 6-year-olds and under!!" — ESmoth Get a pack of nine from Amazon for $19.99. 17. A bestselling Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes musical toy packed with 10 classical tunes from iconic composers like Mozart and Vivaldi, plus twinkling lights that'll entertain even the fussiest baby. I'm seeing a musical prodigy in you future. Promising review:" I LOVE this thing! I bought it before my daughter was born because of high reviews. It's a reasonably priced toy, and my daughter has been using it since birth. Whenever she's having a meltdown, I break it out of the diaper bag, and she's all better. :) I actually memorized the songs and order, and they're pretty catchy. Not annoying and overbearing like other toys. I don't know what I would do without it!." — uhhdorkable Promising review:" The best baby distractor EVER! Every person with a child must have this toy! I had about five tucked in various places in case one got lost. My son loved them from basically birth and sometimes it would distract him for hours of non-crying! (Heaven for a new mother) Of course, in the beginning, you have to keep pushing the button for them, but compared to swinging him in his car seat, that was easy! Then, when he got older, he would spend entire car rides just playing with this one toy. I give it to everyone I know who has a baby." — NH-Mommy Get it from Amazon for $8.88. 18. He loves that he can erase at will and that the drawings are multicolored. I highly recommend this item for 18 months old and up. I bought a pink one for our 18-month-old granddaughter, and she, too, is just enthralled with it and the 'power' she has to erase, create, erase, create! They loved them so much that we bought another set of two different colors so that they would have them at home as well as at 'Grammy's.'" — Kindle Customer Red Heart Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in three sizes and four colors). 19. Promising review:" My daughter is 10, and this kept her busy for HOURS! She had so much fun and was excited every time she got a glimpse of what might be inside. He's 2-years-old and he is really enjoying having his on 'working' vacuum cleaner!!! He seriously plays with it for hours during the day. Promising review:" I bought this for my son when he was 3. Two years later, I've come back to write my unbiased review, so you have one to trust. At the time, I bought these on a whim and had no idea what I would unlock. For more than two full years now, these gears have been played with DAILY. Every. Single. Day. They have held up to crashed airplanes, tidal waves hitting sea creatures, and have been catapulted into castles. Very rarely have they been played with, as shown in the product pictures, as my son uses them to build different things every day. Dusty Crophopper (plane), Lightning McQueen (race car), and so much more. Our only regret is sometimes we don't have enough pieces to build an entire fleet. These creations have an entire shelf for display in his bedroom to feature what he builds each day. This toy is durable, open-ended, grows with the child, fits a variety of abilities and ages, and is only limited by imagination. I could not recommend this toy more!" — Traveler Get it from Amazon for $44.35. 27. A pack of parachute toys that (gasp of gasps) actually won't tangle when thrown from the top of a staircase over and over. Miracles happen once in a while! Promising review:" I bought these for my 4-year-old nephew and 2-year-old niece for when they come to visit. Right out of the box, they were excited and loved tossing them up in the air and watching them fall. I was amazed at how long it kept their interest and the different ways they played with them. They dropped them off the stair landing, off the couch, in the yard, and held them behind them to expand as they ran. My niece liked "Dancing" with them and twirling it around. Good colors and are very well made. Hours of fun and the best $7 I ever spent on a toy!" — hiker0811 Get a pack of four from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in three colors). 28. A Melissa & Doug activity book designed to help build fine motor skills and includes a pair of child-safe scissors to help them use their destructive talents productive ways. Promising review:"Scissors skills are important both in and of themselves because they strengthen the hand muscles to be used for learning to write. My 4-year-old LOVES this book. We received it this week, and she has used it for a couple of hours each day. Many of the pages are cutting things out and putting them together (four-scoop ice cream cone, pizza with pepperonis, the components to build a house or a car, puzzles). We've used tape or glue to put the components together. This book is interesting enough to have caught the attention of my older children as well, although I make them let her do the cutting. :D Would make a great gift as it is so unique." — Mom of 7 Get it from Amazon for $7.99. 29. And it fully charges in just 20 minutes so the fun doesn't have to stop for long! Promising review:" This is incredible!! My grandkids spend hours outdoors, playing with this!! Best thing I could have ever bought to get them outdoors and out from under video games and YouTube. Also, good exercise. It is better outdoors than indoors. The battery life is not very long, but I bought 2, and they just switch them out. Fun! Fun! Fun!" — ladybug Get it from Amazon for $25.60 (available in seven colors). 30. It came with a whole bunch of dominos, two stacks for the dominos, the train of course, and batteries were included! You're able to adjust the front wheels to make it automatically go in a circle which I thought was cool, I assumed we would just have to keep moving it so that was a nice surprise! Left no residue on the table, and could tear easily to make a turn in the road. You could put this anywhere in your house and not be worried about damage. Very cool!" — Courtney S. Promising review:"My son is 4 years old; we bought this item a year and a half ago. I can't believe he still uses them weekly and loves them like the first day. I came to my Amazon order history only to write a review here because I'm amazed at how long they last and still look like new! We used it for his 3-K class projects, and now we use them for pre-K (and, of course, home projects and coloring books). Is a great tool for little artists! Last Halloween, we had a couple of friends over to paint small pumpkins, and these markers saved me from all the mess that could have been!" — Sofia Ostrowski Get a set of eight from Amazon for $12.99 (also available in set of 16 and 36). 35. Promising review:" Our first-grader was feeling really discouraged with her sight words, and I've been trying to think of ways to encourage her and get her excited to learn things she doesn't already know. She loved this game! We played with the whole family, and her 3-year-old sister even enjoyed playing (we showed her the cards and had her find the word that matched her Bingo card). I think this is a great way to make learning/practicing sight words fun! I am very happy with this purchase, and I can see how it would be great for teachers in the classroom as well!!" — Jennie Get it from Amazon for $12.99. 37. Amazon, Yes, they easily wash clean with soap and water without losing stickiness, so the fun can keep going even after they end up in one of your houseplant pots. Promising review:" I waited over two months to write my review! My 4-year-old daughter plays with these DAILY! YES, they do attract dirt and hair. HOWEVER, they are so easy to rinse off it's not a big deal! We took these to a family gathering and ended up giving two away because they were SO loved! The two we gave away went to a 12-year-old and my 19-year-old brother. They discovered throwing them at the ceiling fan and watching them shoot across the room, which was pretty entertaining! None of them have busted or ripped, and they are definitely NOT gentle with them! I will definitely be buying more!" — Kindle Customer Get a pack of six from Amazon for $10.62. 38. Promising review:"I got this for my 2-year-old daughter's birthday, and she LOVES it. She is a little nervous on the playground and she took to this right away. It folds down easily and sets up easily — the design is brilliant. It was actually so easy that I watched the 30-second setup video just to be sure I got it right lol. My 8-year-old son got on it, too, and it held up. We live in an apartment, so this is something that she can climb on safely without taking up a ton of space. It was a HUGE hit, and it will regularly keep her occupied for an hour or so at a time, coloring, cleaning, and coloring again (with only minor help when asked for more help cleaning and drying). Even my 6-year-old son, who doesn't usually color or draw, will join her periodically and seems to enjoy it. The markers are short and skinny, great for small hands." — a.b. Get it from Amazon for $19.59. 40. A bestselling Little Tikes trampoline to really get their jumping energy out, without them jumping on your bed instead. An hour or so on this, and you can all take a nap! Promising review: "I have a wild 3-year-old who has more energy in one day than I've had in my entire life. From sun up to sun down he is ON. Unfortunately, we don't have a yard, and we can't always make it to the playground. We picked this up for him hoping that it would help him get some of that energy out on days that we're stuck inside. We've had it for 8 months, and it has been a lifesaver! I was worried about it taking up too much space in the living room, but it's not bad at all. It's wide enough for him to jump comfortably but not big enough to be an eyesore or get in the way. When I catch him trying to climb on the couch or run around too wildly, I just give him a quick reminder to jump on his trampoline instead. It's a win for both of us since he has a safe place to let that energy out, and I'm not scolding him because he's jumping on things he's not supposed to. He is about 40 lbs and 40 inches tall and he doesn't seem to be growing out of it anytime soon. It was easy to put together and has held up beautifully! It's never tipped over, and we've never had any accidents with it. I am so thankful we picked this up for him because it helps keep all of us happy and sane." — Ana Get it from Amazon for $74.99. 41. A talking microscope with slides they can inspect for a Closer Look at nature's wonders. And g'day to learning, because it actually features Bindi Irwin's voice to expand their knowledge of animals and plants! Amazon The microscope talks in three languages in addition to English — you can choose between two options: Mandarin/Japanese/Korean or Spanish/French/German. Promising review:" This is by far one of the coolest products I've ever seen! My 4-year-old loves this talking microscope! Every day while her baby sister naps, I spend some quality one-on-one time with her, and this was the perfect product for our special time together! She didn't want to stop looking at all the different slides and I love how each slide has three images and the fact mode shares fun facts about the slide chosen! I love that she was learning new facts while looking at it up closely! She has been having so much fun using it and asks me daily to use her new microscope! This is such a great learning tool in a fun, different way for a 4-year-old and it is a big win in my book, especially because it can be used for many, many years! It also includes a quiz mode that we haven't used yet, but it's nice that it has different modes for older kids. Highly recommend for all preschoolers and older kids!" — JC Mommy Get it from Amazon for $34.49. The reviews for this post have been edited for length and clarity.
