South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle

Yara Sameh South Korean actress Kang Seo-ha, who appeared in the K-dramas "Heart Surgeons" and "First Love Again", has died following her battle with stage four stomach cancer. Kang passed away at around 1.30 pm on Sunday, as confirmed in a report by Korean media outlet Sports Kyunghang a day later. The late actress' wake will be held at the funeral hall of the Catholic University of Korea, Seoul St. Mary's Hospital on July 16, and she will be buried in her family's plot somewhere in Haman, Gyeongnam Province. Despite her illness, she was working on the film "Magnaein", in which she played the lead, before her death. An alum of Korea National University of Arts' School of Drama and first gained recognition, Kang first gained prominence after appearing in the music video of Brave Guys' song "Getting Farther Away" in 2012. Some of her other projects include "Schoolgirl Detectives" and "Assembly".
