6 Years After Release, BTS' Track Home Hits No. 1 On Billboard Chart

The song Home is one of the tracks on BTS' extended play Map of the Soul: Persona. ARMYs could not be happier because not only did BTS return as a full group after completing their respective military services, but they have also recently announced future group activities. While the septet, comprising RM, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook, is busy preparing for their brand-new chapter, one of their old songs has made a huge comeback. BTS' song Home, from their extended play Map of the Soul: Persona, has reentered the World Digital Song Sales chart this week. Even though the song was released more than six years ago, it has just reached No. 1 on the Billboard chart of the world's bestselling tracks in the United States. Home first came out in April 2019, and this was the very first time that it topped the chart. This is a major achievement for the group, as it marks their 38th No. 1 on that chart, surpassing any other artist in the world. Home, a pop and R&B track, was written by RM, J-hope, and Suga, alongside ADORA, Bobby Chung, Julia Ross, Krysta Youngs, Pdogg, and others. The lyrics of the song express how the group considers their fans to be their home, where they return when they are tired and lonely. Fans of the K-pop supergroup in the US have been listening to and downloading Home a lot lately, showcasing their love for BTS as they recently reunited. As of now, Home is the only song of the group ranking on the Billboard US charts, but their albums have been doing well too. On the World Albums chart, BTS' 2022 anthology album Proof is at No. 9, whereas their 2020 studio album Map of the Soul: 7 is at No. 24. With all the buzz regarding their comeback to the music scene, these numbers might rise again soon. Just a few days ago, all seven members of BTS sat together for the first time since 2022 and addressed their fans during a Weverse live. During the session, they announced their brand-new album, scheduled for release in Spring 2026, between March and May, followed by their highly anticipated world tour. While fans have to wait nearly a year before they can listen to their new music, BTS, in the meantime, has decided to release their first live album, Permission to Dance on Stage – Live. Scheduled to drop on July 18, the album will feature performances from their Permission to Dance tour. First Published:

BTS Members Jet Off To The US After Announcing Album, World Tour

RM departed for Los Angeles on Sunday, with Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook following a day later. BTS has finally confirmed their comeback plans, and the excitement among their fans is at an all-time high. Just a few days back, all seven members, RM, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook, appeared together on a Weverse live for the first time since 2022. During the session, the K-pop supergroup revealed their plans for a new group album and their highly anticipated world tour. Both are scheduled for 2026. To embark on their album-making journey once again, BTS is reportedly heading to the US for a special songwriting camp. On Sunday, July 6, the group's leader, RM, aka Kim Namjoon, flew to Los Angeles to begin preparations. The next day, Suga, Jimin and Jungkook joined him. V, aka Kim Taehyung, is still in Paris, wrapping up his schedule for Celine at the Paris Fashion Week. He will directly join the team afterwards. Meanwhile, J-Hope and Jin will complete their remaining solo schedules before joining the rest of the team in the US. According to the Korean media outlet Dispatch, the seven members are unlikely to return to South Korea anytime soon. They plan to stay in the US for at least two months while working with international producers on their new music. BTS would be releasing a new full-length album, whose theme, music, and direction are all personally planned by the septet. It is scheduled for release in Spring 2026, between March and May. The creative process is reportedly set to begin in the US, and the group may move around to draw inspiration from artists worldwide. If all goes as planned, this would be their first full album in six years, since Map of the Soul: 7 in 2020, which was a follow-up to their 2019 extended play Map of the Soul: Persona. The latter became a turning point in BTS' career as its lead single, Boy with Luv, featuring American singer Halsey, hit No. 4 on Billboard Hot 100 upon its release. The 2019 song helped the K-pop group reach unprecedented heights. It became their fourth consecutive album to debut on the Billboard 200 chart at the number one position. As for now, J-Hope is set to headline Lollapalooza Berlin on July 13, while Jin is on his first-ever solo tour, RunSeokjin EP Tour. He is scheduled to perform in Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom before concluding his tour in the Netherlands with shows scheduled on August 9 and 10. After the completion of his tour, he will join the rest of the members in the US for BTS's new album. First Published:

BTS has NO PLANS to return to South Korea for 2 months, all we know about group's escape to USA for Spring 2026 album

BTS has reunited, and their plans for releasing new music are being widely discussed. On July 1, the team announced that fans can expect a new album in Spring 2026, which will be followed by a world tour. As a part of this, RM flew to Los Angeles on July 6 and was followed by SUGA, Jimin and Jungkook, who took a flight towards him on the following day. Member V is said to join the team directly after wrapping up his Paris Fashion Week schedule for Celine; meanwhile, J-Hope and Jin will also finish off their solo work before reuniting with the team. Latest reports from Dispatch share how the group will not be returning to their homeland anytime soon. Plans for BTS' full group, studio album set for Spring 2026 release The Korean media outlet has revealed BTS' plans for a song camp in the USA, owing to which the group will not make their way back to South Korea for about 2 months. It was also reported that the group is working on a full-length album, whose concept, direction, and songs will all be personally planned by the seven members of the group and released in Spring 2026 (March-May next year). If true, this will be BTS' first studio album in 6 years following the release of Map of the Soul: 7 in 2020, which was a follow-up to their 2019 extended play Map of the Soul: Persona. The album became a changing point in the group's discography with the lead track Boy with Luv, a collaboration with Halsey, redefining their career. They were able to work with Troye Sivan and landed a Billboard Hot 100 debut of No. 4 for the track. The record became their fourth consecutive album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Another successful run is being highly anticipated by the team. Dispatch Korea reported that overseas producers will be involved in the creation process, which is said to begin in the US and move around, possibly receiving influence from many global musicians. Meanwhile, J-Hope will headline Lollapalooza Berlin on the 13th of this month, reuniting with his team post that, while Jin goes for Osaka concerts on July 12 and 13. The Abyss star will then head to the USA for gigs in Anaheim, Dallas and Tampa on 17-18, 22-23, and 26-27, respectively. He will make a tour stop in London on August 5 and 6, followed by Amsterdam on 9 and 10. He is expected to join the team in Los Angeles after wrapping up his solo tour.
