Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos send love to Ryan Seacrest after former 'Live' cohost broke down on radio over dad's cancer
Seacrest left "Live" in 2023 after joining in 2017, with Ripa bonding with the "American Idol" host's family during their time together. The family that Lives together, stays together, as Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos shared a moving tribute to former cohost Ryan Seacrest after the American Idol personality broke down in tears Sunday on his radio show over the latest development in his father's cancer journey. One day after Seacrest, who left Live in 2023, cried during an emotional recollection of his dad, Gary, and his battle with prostate cancer on the latest episode of the On Air radio program, Ripa and Consuelos took a few moments to honor Gary on their platform. "I want to send our love to our friend Ryan Seacrest," Ripa said on Tuesday morning's broadcast. "He's battling prostate cancer, and apparently it's gotten worse and it spread." Ripa pointed viewers to Seacrest's radio show for more information before telling her own audience that "we want to send our love" to the entire Seacrest family. Consuelos then looked to the camera and voiced a sweet message of his own, saying, "Love you guys." On Sunday, Seacrest became visibly emotional during a segment that saw him discuss the health journey his dad has been on for years. Seacrest said that his father's cancer was initially a private matter for the family, but said that it was still "extremely hard" to see his dad go through the ordeal, which began years ago upon Gary's initial diagnosis with prostate cancer, which eventually took a turn when he got pneumonia. "It didn't get better, it got worse and it spread. It didn't go well for him," Seacrest said of the development. "I was on an American Idol show live during last season, and my sister called me and she said, 'Dad is in the ICU. How fast can you get here?' I finished the show we were almost done, I didn't even remember what I was saying on the show." Seacrest said he flew to Atlanta to be with his family — including his mother, who is in cancer remission — as they made a tough decision about a serious surgical consideration. "I've never seen my strong, very smart father with the look on his face that he had, and the concern, looking at me to help guide the decision that should be made in this moment," Seacrest recalled. Later, after noting that his father hadn't left his home or a hospital bed for nearly five months, Seacrest broke down in tears as he told his audience about an optimistic photo he received from his family ahead of his dad's upcoming birthday. "Last night, I got the most powerful, good, happy picture from my dad and my mother, who was with him, they went to a beach to sit outside, they just wanted to look a the water," Seacrest said after pausing for several seconds to collect himself. "They can't do much. But, I saw him smile, I saw my mom smile."Seacrest said he was embarrassed over his expression of emotion, but that he was deeply moved seeing photos of "smiling and happiness and being together" at this stage of their 55-year marriage. The TV personality then said that his family is preparing for another round of cancer treatments, but that Gary's pneumonia is finally gone. Live With Kelly and Mark airs weekdays in syndication. Kelly Ripa reveals what annoys her most about husband Mark Consuelos after making shock bedroom confession
Kelly Ripa has boldly laid bare what annoys her about husband Mark Consuelos – after outing him for being into morning sex. The Live with Kelly and Mark presenter, 54, got candid about her near–three–decade marriage during a recent appearance on the Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast. Besides being his wife, Kelly has also co–hosted their popular daytime show with her other half for the past two years and she pointed out what he does that irks her while the cameras are rolling. 'He doesn't listen to me frequently, and he will tune me out while we're live on the air,' she confessed. 'When you are being paid, highly paid by the way, to literally listen to me, then you have to listen,' she continued. 'I watch him drift away and I'm like, "Hey, hey, don't do that!"' Kelly's brutal honesty comes as she also admitted she is repulsed by his timing in the bedroom. 'I find it disgusting,' she said, explaining that Mark, also 54, prefers to have sex 'only in the morning.' But that's not all — she said he's also eager to kiss her first thing in the morning, which she finds anything but sexy. 'I have a retainer in. I gotta rip that out,' she said. 'And he's got his nasal strips on. It's like we are the most repulsive, disgusting [people].' She didn't stop there, adding with a laugh: 'I'm already pre–disgusted for tomorrow morning.' The longtime couple met on the set of All My Children back in 1995 and tied the knot the following year. They've since welcomed three children together: Michael, 28, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 22. 'He'll never learn. He's a guy,' Kelly continued to joke on the podcast, before revealing she's had to lay down some ground rules with her husband of 29 years about when intimacy is — and isn't — on the table. 'I said to him, "Here's the thing,"' she recalled. 'There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can't always be your way. 'Cause it feels like 90 percent of the time it's your way. 'And now that we work together every day, it's gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way's at night only.' While Mark may prefer morning romance, Kelly made it clear that's not happening on a daily basis — especially now that they cohost Live with Kelly and Mark together. 'The greatest thing about this job, this thing has almost repulsed him from morning time during the work week,' she said. 'Which is like a miracle.' Then, with her signature bite, she added: 'May this show last until he suffers from erectile dysfunction.' Not done roasting her man, Kelly questioned why that hasn't already kicked in: 'Shouldn't that be happening now? I was promised!' she laughed.

Kelly Ripa roasts husband Mark Consuelos for ‘disgusting' sex desire
Kelly Ripa is mocking her husband, Mark Consuelos, for his sexual desires. The 54-year-old TV host made a confession about her sex life during Tuesday's episode of Amanda Hirsch's Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. During the conversation, Ripa asked when Hirsch and her husband prefer to have sex. 'I'm going to go personal. Are you an evening person or a morning person?' Ripa asked, to which Hirsch replied: 'Definitely not morning. Do not breathe on me in the morning.' Ripa claimed that men prefer to have sexual intercourse in the morning, which Hirsch said she wouldn't do with her partner. 'I find it disgusting,' the Live with Kelly and Mark host added. However, according to Ripa, her husband only wants to have sex in the morning, which she had to talk to him about. 'But I said to him, 'Here's the thing, there needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can't always be your way. Because it feels like 90 percent of the time it's your way.'' 'And now that we work together every day, it's gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way's at night only,' she added, since she and her husband have been hosting Live together since April 2023. She also roasted her husband for wanting to kiss her when they wake up in the mornings. 'I have a retainer in. I gotta rip that out,' Ripa added. 'And he's got his nasal things on. We are the most repulsive, disgusting.' Ripa joked that men 'don't care' and that a 'd*** has a brain of its own.' 'I'm already pre-disgusted for tomorrow morning,' she quipped. However, she clarified that she and Consuelos don't have sex every morning, since they have to get up early for work. 'The greatest thing about this job, this thing has like, almost repulsed him from morning time during the work week,' she explained. 'Which is like a miracle.' She then questioned why her husband doesn't 'suffer from erectile dysfunction,' since he's in his mid-50s. 'Shouldn't that be happening now? I was promised!' Ripa jokingly added. Ripa and Consuelos first met in the Nineties, when they were both starring on All My Children. They got married in 1996 and went on to welcome three children: Michael, 28, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 22. The longtime couple is notorious for sharing NSFW details about their relationship. During a 2023 episode of her podcast, Let's Talk off Camera with Kelly Ripa, Consuelos and Ripa recalled how they've stayed connected during their time apart, including when the Riverdale star was in Canada for 10 months in 2020 for work. After Consuelos said that there were 'rituals' they did to stay close, Ripa stepped in to share how they're intimate with each other via FaceTime. 'We had, can I tell you something, we had sexual rituals that were so ludicrous, over FaceTime,' she explained. 'I became so alarmed at my appearance, over FaceTime, that I started rigging the computer to hang from a ladder.' She then poked fun at how she 'got really close to herself' in 'situations where [she] was separated from [her] husband for long periods of time.' Ripa also addressed how important intimacy is in a relationship, asking Consuelos if it would be a 'dealbreaker' if she 'cut [him] off sexually.' In response, he said: 'That could be a potential deal breaker…Unless you had some type of medical condition where, like, you lost the use of [your body].'

Kelly Ripa is Thankful Her Kids Don't Have a ‘Mountain of Debt': ‘They Are So Appreciative'
Kelly Ripa knows her kids are nepo babies — but she's also aware of the positives that come with the negative reputation. During the Tuesday, July 15, episode of the 'Not Skinny But Not Fat' podcast, the Live With Kelly and Mark cohost said she finds 'comfort' in the fact that her children with Mark Consuelos — Joaquin, 22, Lola, 24, and Michael, 28 — are graduating without student loan debt. "I think my kids feel, like, very fortunate in general," she told host Amanda Hirsch, noting how they feel knowing they don't have school loans to pay off. "There's, like, a comfort in knowing my kids got to graduate knowing that they weren't having to climb out of a mountain of debt. They are so appreciative and so grateful,' Ripa, 54, said. They've been married for nearly 30 years and now cohost Live together. Despite their fame, Ripa and Consuelos made an effort to give their kids a 'normal' upbringing and encouraged them to hold jobs and work toward their goals without much assistance. "I also think we kept their worlds really normal when they were young," Ripa explained on the podcast. "They always, from the earliest ages they could, had part-time jobs, always. And ... in their friend circle, they were like the only ones to have jobs." Michael is now a producer, writer and actor, Lola is a singer-songwriter and Joaquin is hoping to follow in his parents' footsteps after majoring in theater performance at the University of Michigan. He graduated in May. "Our children are fully aware,' Ripa said when discussing how her family is recognized due to their talk show status. 'They'll meet people on the street that will come up to them and say, 'I watched you grow up. It is such a pleasure to see you as an adult.'' She continued, "When my kids were little, they had the opportunity to come on and do, like, little segments ... and people got a glimpse into their lives. And then they grew up, and they move on, and they move out, and they move out of the country in some cases, and people don't get to regularly check in with them. And so I feel like, once in a while, it's important to sort of let people in because I feel like they had a group experience. My kids had a group childhood. It was like they had lots of aunties, lots of uncles, lots of grandparents.' Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' Daughter Lola Graduates From NYU: 'We Are So Proud of You' Joaquin recently shared a glimpse at his post-college life via Instagram, posting photos of his graduation and more. 'Now this is content,' Ripa commented on the post, with a fan writing back, 'You and your hubby are great parents and raised a beautiful family!!! ❤️.' Lola also keeps Live viewers updated on her life in the U.K. via social media, sharing photos of her escapades abroad — including snaps with boyfriend Cassius Kidston. Solve the daily Crossword
