Kelly Ripa has boldly laid bare what annoys her about husband Mark Consuelos – after outing him for being into morning sex.
The Live with Kelly and Mark presenter, 54, got candid about her near–three–decade marriage during a recent appearance on the Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast.
Besides being his wife, Kelly has also co–hosted their popular daytime show with her other half for the past two years and she pointed out what he does that irks her while the cameras are rolling.
'He doesn't listen to me frequently, and he will tune me out while we're live on the air,' she confessed.
'When you are being paid, highly paid by the way, to literally listen to me, then you have to listen,' she continued. 'I watch him drift away and I'm like, "Hey, hey, don't do that!"'
Kelly's brutal honesty comes as she also admitted she is repulsed by his timing in the bedroom.
'I find it disgusting,' she said, explaining that Mark, also 54, prefers to have sex 'only in the morning.'
But that's not all — she said he's also eager to kiss her first thing in the morning, which she finds anything but sexy.
'I have a retainer in. I gotta rip that out,' she said. 'And he's got his nasal strips on. It's like we are the most repulsive, disgusting [people].'
She didn't stop there, adding with a laugh: 'I'm already pre–disgusted for tomorrow morning.'
The longtime couple met on the set of All My Children back in 1995 and tied the knot the following year.
They've since welcomed three children together: Michael, 28, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 22.
'He'll never learn. He's a guy,' Kelly continued to joke on the podcast, before revealing she's had to lay down some ground rules with her husband of 29 years about when intimacy is — and isn't — on the table.
'I said to him, "Here's the thing,"' she recalled.
'There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can't always be your way. 'Cause it feels like 90 percent of the time it's your way.
'And now that we work together every day, it's gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way's at night only.'
While Mark may prefer morning romance, Kelly made it clear that's not happening on a daily basis — especially now that they cohost Live with Kelly and Mark together.
'The greatest thing about this job, this thing has almost repulsed him from morning time during the work week,' she said.
'Which is like a miracle.'
Then, with her signature bite, she added: 'May this show last until he suffers from erectile dysfunction.'
Not done roasting her man, Kelly questioned why that hasn't already kicked in: 'Shouldn't that be happening now? I was promised!' she laughed.
