Where Oregon football stands in 2026 recruiting rankings after latest commitment

With Dan Lanning at the helm, the Oregon Ducks are used to finishing among the top schools in the nation when it comes to recruiting, routinely bringing in top-five and top-10 ranked classes year after year. The Ducks are well on their way to doing so again, but they have some work to do from now until signing day to get it done. Advertisement The first step of that came on Friday with the announcement that 4-star wide receiver Messiah Hampton was committing to the Ducks. Hampton, the No. 102 player and No. 11 WR in the 2026 class, chose Oregon over the likes of Syracuse, Ohio State, Penn State, and Miami. Before the commitment, Oregon ranked No. 42 in the 2026 recruiting cycle, but with the addition of the blue-chip player, they moved up to No. 33 in the nation. That is still a far cry from where the Ducks plan to be by the time the cycle is over, but it's a step in the right direction. Oregon is in the midst of massive recruiting months, with big-name players coming to Eugene on official visits. Last weekend saw a total of six 5-star players on campus, and a pair of 5-stars and a handful of 4-stars are on campus this week for visits. The next couple of months could be eventful for the Ducks on the recruiting trail, and the addition of Hampton was a good way to kick things off. Where Oregon football ranks in 2026 recruiting rankings following offensive line flip

The Oregon Ducks had a slower start to the 2026 recruiting cycle than many fans were hoping for, but over the last month, things have picked up rapidly, and it doesn't look like that momentum is going to be curbed any time soon. Earlier in June, it was 4-star wide receiver Messiah Hampton who joined the fold, followed by 5-star safety Jett Washington announcing his commitment to the Ducks. After that, it was 4-star quarterback Bryson Beaver who joined the Ducks' 2026 class, and on Monday, the final day of the month, 3-star offensive lineman Koloi Keli flipped his commitment from the California Golden Bears to Oregon. Advertisement Keli is coming in at 6-foot-3, 290 pounds, and is rated as the No. 87 OL in the class. Keli is an essential addition for the Ducks, and he may not be the only California flip that we see this summer. Oregon is also after 4-star OL Tommy Tofi, who chose the Golden Bears over the Ducks earlier this year in what was considered a surprising commitment. With the addition of Keli, Oregon jumped back into the top 25 of the national recruiting rankings once again, moving from No. 31 in the nation to No. 22, passing schools like Washington and Tennessee. While that is still not as high as many Oregon fans would like — the Ducks have finished the last three cycles inside the top 10, with both the 2024 and 2025 class ranking inside the top five nationally — it is a step in the right direction. Next week, we are expecting the Ducks to land 4-star S Devin Jackson when he announces his commitment on July 3. Advertisement On top of that, both 5-star OT Immanuel Iheanacho, a strong Oregon lean who is on an official visit to Eugene this month, is expected to commit soon, and the Ducks are also in good standing for 4-star CB Davon Benjamin, among many other blue-chip players. The summer months are always hot for elite recruiting teams, and that could ring true for Oregon more than any other school in the nation this year. 4-star Oregon Ducks target Jalen Lott makes recruiting announcement

The month of June was fun and exciting for the Oregon Ducks when it comes to the recruiting trail, with commitments from 5-star safety Jett Washington and 4-star wide receiver Messiah Hampton to show for it. It appears that July is shaping up to be even better. Over the next couple of weeks, a handful of highly-rated prospects are scheduled to announce their commitments, and the Ducks are in a great position to land many of them. Among those expected announcements are 5-star OT Immanuel Iheanacho, 4-star S Devin Jackson, and 4-star LB Nick Abrams. On Saturday night, 4-star wide receiver Jalen Lott joined that group, announcing that he will make his commitment official on July 8. Advertisement Lott is down to a final five schools of Oregon, the Texas Longhorns, the Georgia Bulldogs, the USC Trojans, and the LSU Tigers. Earlier this month, a prediction landed on On3 for Lott to commit to the Trojans, but there is growing speculation that Oregon is right there in the mix for the highly-rated pass-catcher. The 247Sports Composite rates Lott as the No. 49 overall player in the 2026 class and the No. 5 ATH. While the prediction is only rated at a 50% confidence level, it still suggests that recruiting intel available indicates Lott, a Frisco, Texas native, may be leaning towards the Trojans. Before this latest prediction, it was Oregon and Texas who were considered the favorites. However, Lott's sister, Falyn, runs track at USC, so there is a family pull there. Advertisement We will seen in just over a week whether or not the Ducks are able to close the deal and get a second blue-chip receiver to Eugene as a member of the 2026 class. Previewing Oregon Ducks' July recruiting schedule with major commitments on tap

After a relatively slow start to the 2026 class for Dan Lanning and the Ducks, things turned around in the month of June as Oregon turned up the heat on the recruiting trail. Over the last several weeks, we saw a long list of 5-star and 4-star players come to Eugene for official visits, and a handful of blue-chip players ultimately committed to the Ducks. Players like 5-star safety Jett Washington, 4-star WR Messiah Hampton, 4-star QB Bryson Beaver, and 3-star IOL Koloi Keli all verbally committed to the Ducks, boosting Oregon back inside the top 25 of the national recruiting rankings. Advertisement While those commitments and visits made for a fun June, the heat is about to get cranked up in July, and the Ducks could be in for a hot streak. Over the next several weeks, we expect to see a handful of commitments announced from top-ranked players, many of whom are heavily favored to choose the Ducks. Ahead of those commitments, let's take a look at who is scheduled to announce soon and who could end up in Oregon's 2026 class by the time we reach August. Commitment Date Set: 4-star S Devin Jackson Commitment Date: July 3 National Ranking: No. 213 Position Ranking: No. 18 Commitment Buzz: Oregon Ducks Predicted Advertisement The former Florida Gators commit opened up his recruitment after nine months of being with his hometown Gators, and the Ducks are now the front-runner to land the 4-star safety when he announces his commitment on Thursday. Commitment Date Set: 5-star OL Immanuel Iheanacho Commitment Date: August 5 (But speculated July 4) National Ranking: No. 8 Position Ranking: No. 1 Commitment Buzz: Heavy Oregon Ducks Lean Oregon has long been favored to land this 5-star OT, and that only became more clear after his official visit to Eugene in June. Iheanacho has a commitment date set for August 5, but he said after his OV that he could potentially push it up to July 4. We will see this week if that happens or not, but either way, it feels as if the Ducks are the team here. Advertisement Commitment Date Set: 5-star WR Calvin Russell Commitment Date: July 5 National Ranking: No. 21 Position Ranking: No. 3 Commitment Buzz: LSU Tigers Lean Oregon made a run at Calvin Russell during his official visit to Eugene in June, but it appears that they aren't going to land him, with other schools like LSU, Miami, and Florida leading the way in his recruitment. Commitment Date Set: 5-star S Jireh Edwards Commitment Date: July 5 National Ranking: No. 23 Position Ranking: No. 2 Commitment Buzz: Heavy Alabama Crimson Tide Lean There was a time when it looked as if Oregon was going to get Jireh Edwards out west with a massive commitment, but things have since swung back to the SEC's favor, with Kalen DeBoer and the Alabama Crimson Tide taking over as the heavy favorites to land the 5-star. Advertisement Commitment Date Set: 4-star WR Jalen Lott Commitment Date: July 8 National Ranking: No. 49 Position Ranking: No. 5 Commitment Buzz: Oregon Ducks Trending It's been an eventful recruitment for Lott, who is deciding among Oregon, USC, and Texas. While all three schools have felt good about where they stand over the last month, it appears that the Ducks are currently leading with a week to go until his commitment. Commitment Date Set: 4-star LB Nick Abrams Commitment Date: July 16 National Ranking: No. 229 Position Ranking: No. 14 Commitment Buzz: Anyone's Game At this point, it's a bit too early to tell who is going to land Abrams, one of the most coveted uncommitted linebackers in the class. The likes of Oregon, Georgia, Alabama, and Michigan are all in it, and all have a realistic chance of landing the 4-star. This will be an eventful one to watch over the next two weeks. Advertisement Commitment Date Set: 4-star CB Davon Benjamin Commitment Date: August 2 National Ranking: No. 35 Position Ranking: No. 5 Commitment Buzz: Oregon and Michigan Battling While this commitment will take place after July turns to August, it is a big enough one to deserve mentioning. Oregon has long been considered the front-runner for Benjamin, one of the top cornerbacks in the nation, but they are going to have to fight to land him, with teams like Michigan, Washington, and USC all working hard as well. Commitment Date Unknown: 4-star OL Tommy Tofi National Ranking: No. 97 Position Ranking: No. 6 Commitment Buzz: Oregon the Heavy Favorite Advertisement Tommy Tofi was an Oregon lean, then he surprised everyone with a commitment to the California Golden Bears. However, he decommitted from Cal on Monday and was predicted to commit to Oregon. We will see when the final decision takes place, but it could happen any time now. Commitment Date Unknown: 5-star EDGE Anthony 'Tank' Jones National Ranking: No. 16 Position Ranking: No. 3 Commitment Buzz: Alabama the Team to Beat Oregon is trying hard to land Tank Jones, and they're doing a good job of it, but it's going to be difficult to get him away from the Crimson Tide. Jones is an Alabama kid, growing up as a Crimson Tide fan, so luring him away from the SEC isn't going to be easy. The Ducks are going to have to play the NIL game if they want to land this 5-star EDGE. Advertisement Commitment Date Unknown: 5-star LB Tyler Atkinson National Ranking: No. 9 Position Ranking: No. 1 Commitment Buzz: Georgia the Team to Beat Much like Anthony Jones with Alabama, it's going to be hard to lure Tyler Atkinson, a Georgia kid, away from the Bulldogs. Atkinson has been to Eugene several times and appears to like the Ducks a lot, but getting him out of Kirby Smart's backyard is going to be no easy task. The Texas Longhorns are also deep in his recruitment as well. Commitment Date Unknown: 4-star DL Deuce Geralds National Ranking: No. 73 Position Ranking: No. 9 Commitment Buzz: Ohio State Trending Advertisement The Buckeyes are currently the team to beat for Deuce Geralds, but Oregon seems to be in a good spot here and trending in the right direction. Ole Miss is also in the picture for this high-end 4-star. Commitment Date Unknown: 4-star OT Kelvin Obot UPDATE: Kelvin Obot announced on Tuesday that he was committing to the Utah Utes. National Ranking: No. 131 Position Ranking: No. 9 Commitment Buzz: Oregon Trending This has been a battle between the Ducks, Utah Utes, and Michigan Wolverines, but it appears that Oregon is trending in the right direction and might be close to landing Obot in the near future. They're going to have to beat out Utah to land the Idaho prospect, but current buzz predicts that they will. BREAKING: Oregon Ducks land commitment from 5-star S Jett Washington

The Oregon Ducks are officially on a recruiting hot streak. After landing 4-star wide receiver Messiah Hampton on Friday morning, Dan Lanning and his squad followed it up with a massive addition, getting a commitment from 5-star safety Jett Washington. Advertisement Standing at 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, Washington is rated by 247Sports as the No. 18 player and No. 2 safety in the 2026 class. Washington is Oregon's second safety committed in the 2026 class, joining 4-star Xavier Lherisse. Washington was in Eugene last weekend for his official visit, and he had rave reviews after leaving Eugene. He was one of six 5-star players in town during the first weekend of June, joining the likes of S Joey O'Brien, EDGE Ricahed Wesley, WR Calvin Russell, CB Brandon Arrington, and LB Tyler Atkinson. Oregon had the No. 33-ranked class in the 2026 cycle before the addition of Washington, but they jumped up to No. 22 after adding the second 5-star recruit to their class. Going forward, there is a feeling that this hot streak will continue for Oregon, with a number of high-profile recruits coming to town this month for their visits. The Ducks are in good standing for the likes of 5-stars Ryder Lyons, Immanue Iheanacho, Anthony Jones, Calvin Russell, and many others.
