Why Did Diddy's Defense Attorney Discuss 'Handsome' Michael B. Jordan During Closing Arguments?
Diddy's attorney told the jury that Cassie was "a beautiful, sexy person" — and was not sexually victimized by Diddy He brought up the relationship between Cassie and Michael B Jordan He further said Ventura has "sexual confidence," seemingly in attempt to undermine prosecution's claims that she had been coerced into sexual activities with other menSean 'Diddy' Combs' defense attorney attempted to convince the jury that his former girlfriend — and the prosecution's star witness, Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura — was not a victim, even referencing actor Michael B. Jordan in his closing arguments. Combs' attorney Marc Agnifilo was animated, often walking back and forth in the courtroom, as he rested his case before a Manhattan jury on Friday, June 27. He pushed back against the prosecution's claims that Ventura and another of Combs' former girlfriends, who testified under the pseudonym 'Jane,' were sex trafficked. He tried to convince the jury that both Ventura and Jane willingly participated in the swinger-style lifestyle, and were not victims of coercion. "God bless her. She's a beautiful, sexy person," Agnifilo said about Ventura. When Ventura wasn't dating Combs, "she was with Michael B. Jordan, the most handsome man in the world," Agnifilo said, further claiming Ventura has "sexual confidence." "She is not clutching her pearls," he added. Combs' high-profile trial, where a jury must decide if he is guilty of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, is nearing its end after weeks of testimony from his personal and professional associates. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. If you are experiencing domestic violence, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233, or go to All calls are toll-free and confidential. Tom Cruise on Publicly Supporting 'Sinners': ‘When One Movie Wins, We All Win'
Tom Cruise's social media is a far cry from an endless promotion of various movies that recently hit theaters. While Cruise posts clips, photos and unique tidbits about his own films on his X account, one specific post in late-April stood out from the rest. The Mission: Impossible star had one message in the middle of wild clips from his upcoming film—a photo of himself holding a movie stub in front of a banner for the Ryan Coogler-directed film Sinners. The caption was the highest praise for Coogler, star Michael B. Jordan and the rest of the Sinners cast and crew. "Congratulations Ryan, Michael, and to the entire cast and crew. Must see in a cinema and stay through the end credits!" Cruise posted on X. Unsurprisingly, Cruise's message and post went viral quickly, as he threw his support behind the movie on social media and also by seeing it in theaters. Sinners became a box office juggernaut, currently ranking No. 10 among all R-rated movies on the cumulative domestic box office, pulling in $277.3 million, per The Numbers. While Sinners is an undisputed hit with fans, it excelled at IMAX theaters, as the movie was filmed with IMAX cameras. Cruise's support of the movie led to IMAX CEO Rich Gelfond texting him a thank-you message for supporting it. As The New York Times reported, Gelfond said Cruise responded quickly with a candid reply. "When one movie wins, we all win," Gelfond revealed Cruise said. Cruise's support of Sinners and his mindset in doing so are telling. Especially considering that Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning was nearing its debut at the time of his social media post. But Cruise's love of movies and full-blown push to keep fans seeing movies in theaters trump any promotion of his own films, and that much has become Cruise on Publicly Supporting 'Sinners': 'When One Movie Wins, We All Win' first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 25, 2025

2025's best horror movie has just been added to Time Out's horror hall of fame
Once disregarded as low-grade schlock, horror has become one of Hollywood's most bankable genres, as well as one of its most artistically fruitful. Even so, all-time classics remain hard to come by. On Time Out's list of the 100 greatest horror movies ever made, only a select handful from the past decade have managed to claw their way in – emphasis on 'claw'. Now, however, there's a brand-new entry, and it's only a few months old. But Ryan Coogler's Sinners is simply Creed and Black Panther director has enough hits under his belt to prove himself as, arguably, the greatest blockbuster filmmaker of his generation. But breaking the box office with established IP is one thing. Doing so with a wholly original story is another, much less an original vampire blues musical period piece. A visually stunning, thematically rich tale of two twin criminals (both played by Michael B Jordan) having their plans to go straight interrupted by undead bloodsuckers, the film has earned comparisons to the likes of 1996's From Dusk Till Dawn, but in truth it's a large-scale, big-idea epic unlike any other recent blockbuster. A sensation upon release, it's proof there's still money in original stories, and we're betting it's a movie audiences will talk about for years. Sinners becomes the most recent addition to the Time Out horror canon since Coralie Fargeat's 2024 body horror The Substance.

Jude Bellingham's girlfriend Ashlyn Castro stuns in custom Real Madrid crop top
Jim Sheridan, Sport Reporter Published: Invalid Date, JUDE BELLINGHAM's girlfriend Ashlyn Castro has stunned in a custom Real Madrid outfit. The 27-year-old is currently Stateside supporting the England star at the Club World Cup. 6 6 6 6 Bellingham's Real Madrid opened up the tournament with a 1-1 draw against Saudi side Al-Hilal. The former Dortmund midfielder failed to find the net as Xabi Alonso's men were frustrated in front of goal. But Bellingham is certainly winning off the pitch with Californian model Ashlyn. The influencer showed off a custom Madrid creation ahead of Sunday's clash with Mexican side Pachuca. Ashlyn took a mirror selfie of her wearing the Real shirt, which had been modified into a crop top. Castro was first pictured with the Three Lions ace in January. SunSport revealed Bellingham had whisked Ashlyn away for a series of dates over the New Year. And she'd even met his parents on a visit to the Spanish capital. Ashlyn has previously been linked with Hollywood actor Michael B Jordan and NBA stars LaMelo Ball and Terance Mann. She boasts 540,000 followers on Instagram, where she keeps fans updated with her luxury travels around the world. A recent update saw the Californian beauty rock a gorgeous fitted green outfit. One fan gasped in response: "I think this is Bellingham's best goal." While a second added: "You are just outrageous." Ashlyn has also amassed a huge following on TikTok where she posts makeup tutorials and shares fashion advice with fans. Bellingham was previously linked with Dutch model Laura Celia Valk. 6 6 His brother Jobe recently followed in his sibling's footsteps, joining Dortmund from Sunderland. The 19-year-old netted his first goal for the club in Saturday's CWC showdown with Mamelodi. Dortmund shelled out £32million for the teenager. But the price tag - and comparisons with his big brother - are just distractions to the midfielder. Jobe said: "I don't really care how it looks, but it might look a bit contradictory to some people. "I was perhaps being biased against Dortmund for a very long time, because I have anxieties and fears, and you want to be your own man. "But I don't think I should let those stop me from making the right decision."
