‘That's where I'm headed next' – Conor McGregor appears to confirm UFC return in shock card at the White House
CONOR McGREGOR has appeared to confirm he will make a UFC comeback - and wants to return by fighting at the White House. The volatile Irishman has not been in the octagon since July 2021 - when he brutally broke his leg against Dustin Poirier. 2 A toe injury in last June also forced McGregor out of his proposed comeback bout against Michael Chandler in Las Vegas. Further controversies outside of the cage have also kept the former UFC champion out of action with his fighting future in doubt. But after US President Donald Trump announced plans to host a UFC event on White House grounds - McGregor threw his name in the hat. And adding further fuel to the fire, he said at a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship event: 'It's looking like I'm headed to the Oval Office again. "So that's where I'm headed next. But I'll let these men fight for this one and I'll support them and back them all the way." McGregor, his fiancee Dee Devlin and their four children visited Trump and the White House in March on St Patrick's Day. There, he announced his own plans to run for Irish presidency. But the visit came just four months after McGregor was found liable for assault in a civil case against him dating back to 2018. The court heard how the professional fighter was said to have "brutally raped and battered" Nikita Hand in a penthouse at the Beacon Hotel. McGregor - who was ordered to pay Ms Hand about £206,000 in damages and pay her legal costs - has since sought an appeal. 'He's got the best tattoos I've ever seen' - Donald Trump reveals he is a fan of UFC icon Conor McGregor He was initially expected to include new evidence - but the Court of Appeal in Dublin heard that McGregor would no longer be relying on additional evidence. McGregor also punched a man in an Ibiza nightclub in June - with The Sun capturing the shocking moment. But the man - who works for Wayne Lineker - did not press charges. McGregor still has two fights left on his contract but even UFC boss Dana White cast doubt over a return. That was until Trump's teased an event at the White House. White later told YouTube group Nelk Boys: 'McGregor has gotten himself to a point where he is and will be, whether he stops fighting or not, one of the biggest superstars in sports, period. 'He's gotten to a level of success in his life where he has to, I think, be motivated by something. 'He's accomplished everything and especially financially. Now he's got to find something that truly motivates him to want to come back and do this again. I don't know if the White House is it, but we'll see.' Trump told a crowd in Iowa: "Does anybody watch UFC? The great Dana White? We're going to have a UFC fight. "We're going to have a UFC fight - think of this - on the grounds of the White House. We have a lot of land there." 2

Conor McGregor teases stunning return at UFC White House event... as he claims he's 'heading to the Oval Office again'
Conor McGregor has claimed that he will make his long-awaited return to the UFC at their White House event next year. The Irish MMA star has not stepped foot inside the octagon since July 2021, where he suffered a horror leg break against American fighter Dustin Poirier. McGregor was set to face rival Michael Chandler last summer but, after months of fight build-up, was forced to pull out of the bout due to a toe injury. While many fans have given up hope of McGregor making, yet another, comeback to the sport, it appears as though he's dangled the carrot in front of them once again. Speaking at a press conference for a Bare Knuckle FC event - a promotion which McGregor is a co-owner of - the Irishman revealed the stunning news. He said: 'It's looking like I'm headed to the Oval Office again. That's where I'm headed next'. His statement was met by a round of applause from fans in attendance. 🚨 Conor McGregor teases a return at the UFC White House event 👀👀 'It's looking like I'm headed to the Oval Office again. That's where I'm headed next.' 🎥 @bareknucklefc — Championship Rounds (@ChampRDS) July 11, 2025 McGregor's claim comes just days after he posted on X claiming that he was keen to feature on the White House card. He wrote: 'Accuracy is final. I've most KO's of all by a long shot and I've been chilling on my yachts the last 4 years. 'To return at the White House with my sniper accuracy would be a very intriguing offer and would bring me back in to focus on my return correctly'. President Donald Trump announced that he wants a card to take place at the White House during America's 250th birthday next July - which lead to McGregor's interest. As part of his victory lap after Congress passed his 'Big Beautiful Bill', Trump mentioned ways that the United States would celebrate its 250th birthday next July. Among the programming would be a mixed martial arts event inside The Octagon steps from the Oval Office. 'And I even think we're going to have a UFC fight... Does anybody watch UFC and the great Dana White?' Trump asked the crowd of MAGA faithful. 'We're going to have a UFC fight. We're going to have a UFC fight,' Trump continued. 'Think of this - on the grounds of the White House.' 'We have a lot of land there,' he continued. 'We're going to build a little - we're not, Dana's going to do it, Dana's great, one of a kind - we're going to have a UFC fight, championship fight, full fight, like 20-25,000 people.' MMA fans were not thrilled of the idea of a UFC card on the White House grounds, especially after a resurfaced clip of White showed his disdain for mixing sports with politics. McGregor previously made a visit to the White House back in March, to mark St. Patrick's Day, and he used his platform to fire shots at Ireland's Prime Minister. He claimed that rampant immigration was leading to Ireland 'potentially losing its Irishness'. In the days that followed his remarkable visit to Washington, the 36-year-old lifted the lid on his interactions, claimed to have had 'productive meetings' with senior officials and sported the lesser-seen 'Make Ireland Great Again' cap. One post that followed his visit contained images of a meeting with US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth. McGregor wrote: 'Tremendously productive meeting!' Meanwhile, along with McGregor, UFC legend Jon Jones has teased a comeback to the sport amid interest in the same White House event next year. Last week, the 37-year-old took to social media to claim he had re-entered the company's drug-testing pool, just two weeks after calling time on his career. UFC President Dana White had previously revealed Jones' intent to hang up his gloves and confirmed that a fight against British star Tom Aspinall would not happen. However, it seems that the prospect of featuring on a UFC card that would take place on the White House lawn has proved too tempting for Jones to ignore.

‘Money' Challenges Chandler To A Loser-Retires Fight
Photo byfor Fanatics Just over a week has passed since former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight title challenger Renato Moicano suffered a unanimous decision loss to Beneil Dariush at UFC 317, but he's already targeting his next opponent: fellow 155-pound title challenger Michael Chandler. Advertisement 'Man, I'll be completely honest with you, the oldest guy in the division, brother. 'Michael Chandler,' Moicano said when asked who he wants to fight next. 'I think that fight makes a lot of sense, and there isn't a better time. I've been talking shit for about Michael Chander for so long and if I lose to him, I'll have to kill myself.' Suicide is clearly an extreme statement, so Moicano's co-host proposed an alternative: a loser-retires fight (sound familiar?). 'Money' loved the idea. '100%,' Moicano said. 'Sign the contract.' From a rankings perspective, a Moicano-Chandler bout aligns well, with Moicano at No. 12 and Chandler at No. 13, despite some fighters calling for Chandler's removal from the rankings. The matchup also carries extra intrigue, as the two train at rival Florida gyms: American Top Team and Kill Cliff FC. Advertisement Moicano (20-7-1) is now on his first two-fight losing streak since transitioning to Lightweight. His previous bout saw him face Islam Makhachev on just one day's notice, resulting in a first round submission loss (watch highlights). Chandler (23-10) is on a three-fight losing skid, most recently getting stopped in the third by Paddy Pimblett via TKO (watch highlights). More from

Most people aren't aware that their electromagnetic environment — internal and external — is continually shaping their biology. They've also never seen scientific data showing how that environment can be proactively and precisely tuned to improve biological outcomes and performance. That's why we initiated and hosted these events. They're the latest example of Aires' commitment to educating people about how the invisible electromagnetic environment is a core pillar of health, just like other universally accepted biological factors such as water, sleep, movement, and nutrition. The importance of that message was reinforced by the enthusiastic participation of the world-class experts, specialists and peak performers that contributed and shared their knowledge. Our commitment is to continue making the invisible visible through events like these and through our marketing efforts so that more people, organizations and businesses learn how Aires can help transform the electromagnetic environments around us all to promote well-being."
