In a press statement, the ministry said the Kuwaiti delegation, led by Director General of the Coast Guard Brigadier General Mubarak Ali Al-Sabah, conducted a series of meetings with senior US Coast Guard officials. The discussions focused on strengthening operational coordination, sharing best practices in coastal surveillance, countering maritime threats, and improving emergency response capabilities. The delegation was also briefed on the US Coast Guard's modern command and control systems, as well as specialized training programs approved and implemented by the agency, according to the statement. The visit, the ministry added, reflects the depth of strategic relations between the two nations' maritime security forces and highlights their mutual commitment to enhancing regional maritime safety and ensuring secure navigation in international waters.
