Angie Khoury surprises fans with cover of Nancy Ajram 'Ya Tabtab'
ALABWABA - Angie Khoury surprises fans with bold Ya Tabtab song cover. Angie Khoury, a social media influencer and rising star, has astonished her admirers with a daring musical move: she has performed a version of one of Nancy Ajram's most famous tunes, which is titled Ya Tabtab. The unanticipated release was made available on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube earlier this week. It immediately generated excitement among fans of Arabic pop music and prompted comparisons to the original. People widely regard the 2006-published album Ya Tabtab as a masterpiece of Arabic pop from the early 2000s. It is also credited with establishing Nancy Ajram as a regional sensation. Given that the song has been regarded for a long time as a signature piece that hardly any people are willing to touch, Khoury's decision to remake the music demonstrates both confidence and ambition. The infectious rhythm and flirty tone of the original are maintained in Khoury's rendition, which also incorporates a contemporary twist through the use of new visuals and improved design. A contemporary twist is added to the classic song by the video, which was shot in a studio that was filled with soft pink lighting, sparkly accessories, and a dynamic new dance. Khoury was heard saying, "I've always loved Ya Tabtab" in a little footage that was taken behind the scenes. "Just like me, it is full of energy, fun, and playfulness; it is just like me." I am doing this as a way of paying tribute to Nancy while also providing the younger generation with something current to vibe with. angiekhuorymy Instagram profile Online, people have responded to the cover in a variety of ways. While there were fans who lauded Khoury for her charisma and her bravery in paying respect to an icon, there were also those who were more critical of her particular vocal performance. Angie's star power and social media reach remain strong, as evidenced by the video receiving thousands of views in just a few hours. Regardless of whether or not her rendition of You Tabtab becomes a viral sensation, Angie Khoury's cover is already a topic of conversation. It serves as a reminder of how brave and contemporary musicians can revitalize classic songs.

Styled Archives: Nancy Ajram's Most Iconic Music Video Looks
A nostalgic journey through the Queen of Arabic Pop's boldest on-screen fashion. Jun 12, 2025 With a career spanning over two decades and a music video catalog that shaped a generation's idea of pop stardom, Nancy Ajram is more than a singer; she's a style icon. Whether she's serving 2000s sass or fairy-tale fantasy, her music video fashion is etched into the Arab world's collective memory. Nancy Ajram's music video fashion was never just about clothes. Each look defined a moment, told a story, and pushed the envelope of what Arab pop stars could wear, and say, on screen. Whether it was full glam, playful fantasy, or pure attitude, her style always spoke volumes. Here, we revisit some of her most unforgettable looks over the years… Ma Tegi Hena (2014) In one of her most talked-about videos, Nancy emerges in a tight red bodycon dress that became instantly iconic. Paired with gold statement jewellery, glowing skin, and a perfectly sculpted red lip, the look oozed sass and bold feminine energy. It was modern-day siren meets old-school cabaret, an outfit that spoke louder than the lyrics, matched only by her unapologetic confidence. culpted red lip, the look oozed sass and bold feminine energy. It was modern-day siren meets old-school cabaret, an outfit that spoke louder than the lyrics, matched only by her unapologetic confidence. Sheikh El Shabab (2010) A true lesson in duality, this video sees Nancy oscillating between playful and boho-chic. First, there's the unforgettable leopard print jeggings, layered with a casual red tank for that 'girl next door with an edge' aesthetic. Then, we're transported to a whimsical garden scene where she floats in an orange flowy skirt, cropped vest, and bohemian accessories, giving off strong fairy-in-the-meadow energy. Mashy Haddy (2008) Nancy channels cartoon pop realness in a bright yellow structured dress that wouldn't look out of place in a modern animation. A cute bandana and retro heels add a layer of playful absurdity. It's kitschy, it's weirdly wearable, and it reminds us that she never took herself too seriously. Ya Salaam (2009) Serving Great Gatsby glam with a 2000s twist, Nancy dons a sparkling 1920s-inspired dress - think delicate beading, sheer paneling, and the ultimate cherry on top, a bubblegum pink wig. The look was theatrical and unexpected, but it worked. The exaggerated femininity mixed with the jazz-era silhouette made it feel both vintage and delightfully offbeat. Akhasmak Ah (2003) Possibly the most iconic look in her videography. Nancy appears in a black strapless bodycon dress, paired with gold statement jewellery and sharp black stilettos. The outfit became a cultural moment, and marked the beginning of her reign as Arabic pop's most visually daring figure.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell Wore This Dubai-Based Designer At Disneyland Abu Dhabi's Debut
Media: @alikaroui Instagram The internet went into a frenzy when fashion sensation and supermodel Naomi Campbell was noticeably absent from the 2025 Met Gala. But it seems the 55-year-old had other plans, jetsetting a little closer to the Middle East for an iconic moment in the UAE. Just recently, Campbell was spotted attending one of Abu Dhabi's most exclusive (and exciting ) events. The emirate played host to a star-studded lineup to celebrate the UAE's latest plans for yet another iconic landmark in the making: Disneyland Abu Dhabi. Truly a magical night that unveiled the historic announcement, the event, which took place on Yas Island Abu Dhabi, welcomed a mix of Hollywood's biggest names and the region's stellar stars, including Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick, singer Tyrese Gibson, Lebanese icon Nancy Ajram, and Dubai Bling cast member and Kayali founder Mona Kattan. Naturally showing her impeccable taste, the British model marked the occasion with her unapologetic energy and style, wearing a couture dress by Dubai-based Tunisian designer Ali Karoui. The look featured a vibrant orange colourway, a sleek silhouette which defined her edge, and a sweeping shoulder veil. She completed her ensemble with accessories by another UAE-based jewellery brand, Karlito, featuring a dazzling diamond set of dainty bracelets and rings. Of course, Middle Eastern fans of the model were pleasantly surprised but nonetheless ecstatic with her warm interaction with the region's legendary singer, Nancy Ajram. The two icons were seen sharing pleasantries and casually holding a conversation–a moment that quickly went viral across social media.
