In 2022, Naomi made waves when she ventured into presenting during the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team car launch, followed by co-hosting the Sky Sports F1 programme Any Driven Monday. However, after being questioned on her suitability for the role, criticism came her way, reports The Sun. The critic remarked: "Meet Naomi Schiff, Sky Sports latest Formula 1 commentator. Hint: It isn't Formula 1 experience." ‌ Naomi took to social media to reply with three yawning emojis, displaying her dismissal of such negativity. Lewis swiftly rose to her defence, taking to Twitter (now renamed as X) to express his disdain for the remarks. She's been a great asset since joining & we should welcome more representative broadcasting with open arms." He added: "Still have a long way to go to change these attitudes in sport."
