Kitchie Nadal open to possibility of moving back to PH
"Anything is possible." This was Kitchie Nadal's answer when asked in "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Monday if there was a chance for her to move back to the Philippines. "We're open to anything," she added. Kitchie moved to Spain in 2017 with her Spanish husband, journalist Carlos Lopez, following the birth of her first son and has been based there ever since. According to Kitchie, she did not expect that her career would be the same again when she moved to Spain for love. "I was just happy to be living there and then nagkaroon lang ng opportunities eh. I don't know how it happened, basta nagkaroon lang ng demand to come back here and do concerts, and I said yes," she said. "Kaya ayoko ring magsalita nang tapos kasi parang, 'yun nga eh, 'yung concert, I didn't even think about that. Never in my wildest dream that it'll happen in my 20th year or 21st year." Kitchie marked her 20th anniversary in the music industry in 2024 with a concert, dubbed "Same Ground," at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. The show featured Kitchie's good friends in the industry, namely Barbie Almalbis, Aia de Leon, Lougee Basabas, Hannah Romawac, Acel Bisa, and Mayonnaise's Monty Macalino. In June, she held another concert, titled "New Ground," at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in celebration of her 21st year in the industry. The OPM rock icon is known for the hits "Huwag Na Huwag Mong Sasabihin," Same Ground," "Bulong!!!" and many more. Kitchie and Carlos tied the knot in 2025. They have two sons: Keon, born in 2017, and Iago, born in 2023. —CDC, GMA Integrated News

New Ground full throttle towards Grand Prix de Paris test
The Grand Prix de Paris is the likely next objective for New Ground following his fourth-place finish in the Betfred Derby. Trained in France by Henri-Francois Devin, the New Bay colt faced a huge rise in class for the premier Classic at Epsom, but justified the decision of owner-breeders Juddmonte to supplement him with an excellent effort in defeat. The three-year-old now has the opportunity to prove that performance was no fluke, with an appearance at ParisLongchamp on July 13 on the agenda. Barry Mahon, Juddmonte's European racing manager, said: 'New Ground is in the Grand Prix de Paris and he's in the German Derby. We'll look at both, but it feels like the Grand Prix de Paris is probably the plan for him. 'He's a good horse, I think Henri always felt he was very talented and we knew a step up to a mile and a half was going to suit. 'I thought given how he behaved in the preliminaries, he ran an unbelievably good race as he got very warm and very excited, but he came home well. 'I think we're heading towards the Grand Prix de Paris and hopefully he'll run a good race there.'

Tennessee Stud and Lambourn could have second Classic clash
Tennessee Stud was one of the few horses to get involved from off the pace as the front-running Lambourn provided Joseph's father Aidan with an 11th Derby victory and O'Brien junior – who also saddled Wemightakedlongway to finish fourth in Friday's Oaks – is happy to take on the winner again on home soil. Tennessee Stud ran a HUGE race after a slow start and New Ground was flying home… The stats that tell some interesting stories in the @Betfred Derby 📈 — The Jockey Club (@TheJockeyClub) June 7, 2025 He said: 'I was delighted with both runners over the weekend, particularly the horse in the Derby. He came home strongly and looks an exciting horse for the future. 'We felt that he'd improve for the run at Leopardstown, we had been working towards the Derby and he ran a fantastic race. 'I would imagine he'll go back to the Irish Derby. You'd think a mile and a half at the Curragh would suit him well and he has had a good run there before (second in Beresford Stakes).' O'Brien was similarly pleased with the performance of Wemightakedlongway, who looks set to to stick to Group One level after being beaten just over five lengths by Minnie Hauk in the Oaks. Wemightakedlongway at Epsom (Adam Morgan/PA) 'She ran great and we could have a look at the Pretty Polly maybe, or the Irish Oaks, or both,' the trainer added. 'She seems well after the race. We'd be happy to try the trip again anyway, that's for sure. 'Hopefully one or both horses can get on the scoreboard at Group One level.'

Lambourn stuns red-hot favourite Delacroix to land master trainer Aidan O'Brien an 11th Derby
AIDAN O'BRIEN'S No2 Lambourn stunned his big hope Delacroix to land the Derby - as a load of the big guns flopped in the £1.5million Epsom blockbuster. Lambourn, who was sent off 13-2, hit the front early and was never for catching under loyal jockey Wayne Lordan. Advertisement Ryan Moore never really got into it on red-hot favourite Delacroix and finished ninth, beaten 16 lengths. And, for once, the world's best jockey had to play second best to Lordan - who he beat into second in the Oaks on Friday. There was a huge result for syndicate Middleham Park as their 50-1 Lazy Griff, trained by Charlie Johnston, came second. While Aidan's son Joseph was third with 28-1 Tennessee Stud. Advertisement Juddmonte had the fourth home with 50-1 New Ground. O'Brien said: "Wayne gave him an incredible ride - he is a great fella and has done so much hard work throughout the years. "The horse is very straightforward and Wayne knew he would stay. "I'm delighted for Wayne and couldn't be happier.
