The top pair then chooses between two envelopes—one with the full $100,000 prize and one with nothing—to see if love really does conquer all. Who are the final four couples? The competition is fierce, as all four finalist couples have made a lasting impression throughout their time in the villa. Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales have emerged as steady favourites, earning widespread support for their emotional depth and strong chemistry. Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe, affectionately dubbed 'Nicolandria,' have captivated fans with their slow-burn, friends-to-lovers journey that unfolded naturally over the season. Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley bring undeniable passion to the table, though their relationship has seen its fair share of ups and downs. Meanwhile, Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia have surprised everyone with a late-game connection, positioning themselves as the unexpected underdogs heading into the finale. Who is expected to win? While all four couples have fans, the race appears to be between Amaya & Bryan and Nicolandria. Amaya & Bryan: Early reports from fan communities, mock votes, and even astrology predictions suggest they've already edged ahead. Nicolandria: Still strong contenders thanks to their wholesome dynamic and slow-burn romance, which many fans say feels the most authentic. Reddit discussions and Twitter polls show a near tie between the top two pairs, but Amaya & Bryan may have the edge when it comes to emotional storytelling and fan loyalty. What else to expect in the Love Island USA Season 7 finale? Aside from the envelope twist and emotional final dates, fans can look forward to a few surprises: Two surprise celebrity guests are rumoured to appear, according to The Sun. Did Cierra target Huda fans just hours before Love Island USA Season 7 finale? Former Islander's new comment sparks fresh backlash
We are just hours away from the finale of Love Island USA Season 7, and while fans are eagerly awaiting the inside drama to unfold, social media is currently abuzz for a different reason altogether. Cierra Ortega, whose removal from the show just ahead of the finale over racism allegations sent shockwaves through the fans of the reality TV series, has once again found herself facing the heat on the internet. This time around, for allegedly dissing Huda Mustafa's fans. Why is Cierra Ortega facing backlash again? Days after extending a detailed apology over her racism controversy, the former islander has once again become the centre of a heated debate after she called Huda fans #Hudarats in an Instagram comment. Just hours ago, Cierra shared a carousel post on Instagram, reflecting on her time in the villa. The post featured snapshots of her enjoying herself with fellow islanders, offering a glimpse into the fun moments she experienced despite how things ended. She captioned the post, "People, moments, and memories I'll cherish forever. This journey didn't end the way I hoped, but there was real connection, love, and growth in these moments. There's still so much more growing to do. And for that, I'll always be grateful." One particular picture showed her with the girls—Olandria, Hannah, Chelley, Idris, Amaya, and Huda—and while she tagged everyone in the photo, she notably didn't tag Huda. However, she proceeded to share an explanation in the comments section, writing, "Before the #hudrats come for me for not tagging my girl, her IG isn't allowing tags!! Please know Huda is my sister, and the love I have for her is infinite." She further added, "And for the #Nicolandria nation, they are the two people I care deeply for and absolutely adore. I have always wanted nothing but happiness for each of them in this experience. That has never and will never change." So why exactly is the fresh backlash building against Cierra? Well, in case you missed it, the term 'rats' is typically used in a negative context for fans, often implying they're toxic or hateful. So when Cierra referred to Huda's fans as #Hudarats, many took it as a direct insult. The comment didn't sit well with a lot of viewers, who are now once again calling out Ortega online and urging Huda to distance herself from her. Cierra says she didn't know the meaning Cierra has now edited her comment from #hudrats to Huda HQ and responded to the backlash, claiming she wasn't aware of the negative meaning behind the term. According to her, she genuinely thought this was Huda's fandom name. Notably, her use of the term 'rats' to describe Huda's fans sparked even more backlash because many of Huda's supporters are Palestinian. Given the sensitive context surrounding the region, her comment was seen by some as especially inappropriate. Despite her explanation, many labelled her racist and accused her of being dismissive of the broader implications. Cierra saying that she thinks hudrats is huda's fan name is has any good tweet or good sentence come out from that name being is a racist #LoveIslandUSA Cierra is a racist...I hope huda stays far away from people like dumb person will hear rats at the end of someone's name, especially a Palestine woman and think, its a good thing... Internet advises Cierra to put her phone down until the finale While Cierra's comment may have been unintentional, she's once again facing the wrath of the internet, especially from Huda's supporters. Amid the growing backlash, many fans have urged her to log off until the finale, with some even suggesting she hire a social media manager who's more in tune with internet language and sensitive contexts. Love Island USA Season 7 wraps up with its grand finale on Sunday, July 13 at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET, streaming exclusively on Peacock.

After Cierra Ortega's exit, Love Island fans react to Nic pairing up with Olandria Carthen: ‘Manifestation is real'
On Sunday, Cierra Ortega was removed from the Love Island Season 7 villa . Cierra faced backlash after her racist social media posts resurfaced. She was paired with Nic Vansteenberghe in the villa. After Cierra exited, Nic admitted to feeling 'lost.' However, he went ahead to explore a new connection with Oliandra, which prompted a slew of social media reactions. Cierra Ortega exited the Love Islana villa after her racist social media posts took social media by storm. Nic Vansteenberghe is now paired with Olandria Carthen. Nic and Oliandra pair up After Cierra exited, Nic said, 'Right before Cierra had left, my mind was clear. I knew what the future would look like and now I'm lost. I don't know but I will have to figure it out from here.' Olandria Carthen comforted him, and he said, 'Olandria, I know she has my back no matter what. I've always appreciated her fierce loyalty. I think she is someone I just enjoy spending my time with and that's what I'm looking for.' Then, during the re-coupling, Oliandra chose Nic and said, "I would like to couple up with this boy because he's always expressed how much he values me as a person, valued our bond. He has a crazy, quirky personality and I've loved him from the moment that I met him. Super excited to spend the rest of my days with this person." Fan reactions Reacting to the new pair, a fan commented, 'nicolandria fans won the war, battle, fights and petty arguments … their delusions actually succeeded & overpowered reality oh wow.' A second fan agreed, and wrote, 'In conclusion: the nicolandria hive has proven that manifestation is real cause no way they clutched up like this at the end.' Another said, 'The best part of this season has been the Nicolandria fans 😂 y'all deserve this moment so much! I literally might cry like I know it's not that serious but I'm just so happy for y'all because this NEVER happens! May your delulu always come trutru.' A comment read, 'The power of tens of thousands of people being delusional is so strong, like psychologists will study the phenomena that was the summer of nicolandria for years to come….I can't believe this!' Another fan added, 'Olandria: was it supposed to be us all along ? All of America: YESSSSSSSSSSS!' Meanwhile, Cierra Ortega's parents have released a public statement addressing her exit and said that the mean comments have been 'uncalled for.'

‘Love Island USA' Fans Asked For This Coupling Twist — And They Actually Got It
This article includes material from HuffPost's weekly culture and entertainment newsletter, The Culture Catchall. Click here to subscribe. This post contains spoilers for Episode 21 of 'Love Island USA' Season 7. This season of 'Love Island USA' may not have the sweeping romances viewers were hoping for, but it's still delivering top-tier reality TV. Season 7 hit its halfway mark this week with the Casa Amor kickoff — and it wasted no time shaking things up. As a flood of new bombshells arrived, the show pulled off a franchise-first twist that undid every recent coupling and left all the islanders officially single. In other words, everyone got a clean slate to explore brand-new connections — or in one pair's case, revisit an old one. That's right, I'm talking about Nic and Olandria — or as their loyal supporters have dubbed them, 'Nicolandria.' Since early in the season, fans of the duo have been clamoring for them to couple up, despite both being mostly locked down with other islanders (Olandria with Taylor, Nic with Cierra). Flirtatious moments in challenges have hinted at a spark between the two. Still, they never had a real chance to explore a connection until after they were dumped in a jaw-dropping elimination on Tuesday. Unlike past seasons, islanders were forced to pair up during Casa Amor instead of after returning to the villa. And as couplings shuffled around, Nic and Olandria found themselves on the outs. In typical fashion, the two were given 30 minutes to say their goodbyes. But then, 'Love Island USA' flipped the script. After Tuesday's cliffhanger left viewers stunned to see Olandria return in a truck to scoop up Nic, we found out on Thursday that they sped off to a secret candlelit date, where they faced a big decision: stay single and go home, or couple up and head back to the villa. Much to fans' delight, Nic and Olandria chose each other and made a sneaky return to the villa in the middle of the night. The twist shocked viewers, as well as the other islanders, but for longtime 'Nicolandria' supporters, it only confirmed what they suspected all along. RT if you're a Nicolandria stan! 🔁 # — Love Island USA (@loveislandusa) June 27, 2025 they didn't believe in us. they called us delusional. nicolandria hive, we did this! # — sai (@sighidaa) June 27, 2025 everyone called nicolandria stans delusional for weeks just for us to win in the end # — aliyah 🇰🇪 🇵🇸 (@itsaliyahbxtch) June 27, 2025 Bitch, Nicolandria stans are GAGGED LMFAO. — carson. (@playboixcarson) June 27, 2025 Niclandria girlies are visionaries — b²⁹⁷⁷ (@GR8Brittany) June 25, 2025 Nicolandria shippers have single-handedly proved that Strong delusion and faith works even through hardships works # — Anivia💕 (@shesoelegantt) June 27, 2025 Naturally, the new coupling puts Olandria and Nic in a tricky spot with Taylor and Cierra, who happen to be two of their closest friends in the villa. And tensions are bound to rise during Friday's big recoupling, when the rest of the islanders return from Casa Amor and everything comes to light. That said, some fans have accused 'Love Island USA' of leaning too heavily into fan service this season by catering to 'Nicolandria' fans and those who enjoy the manufactured chaos. However, the twist is consistent with how the show has given viewers more control than ever before. Back in week three, fans were allowed to decide which bombshells and islanders should be coupled, for the first time in the franchise's history. The result broke up Jeremiah and Huda, Taylor and Olandria, and Hannah and Charlie, and also led to the latter's elimination. Later, fans influenced another elimination by voting for their favorite islanders, which may not have even happened if this season lived up to the show's title. Given the lack of solid connections among the Season 7 cast, it's no wonder producers are allowing fans to puppeteer the drama more than usual. Unlike last season, which gave us several couples still going strong — Serena and Kordell, JaNa and Kenny, and Leah and Miguel — this batch hasn't delivered the same kind of genuine romance that we can root for. So, in the spirit of making good TV (and keeping the 'Love Island USA' brand strong), I'm all for letting the fans steer the drama a bit. After all, it's our viewership that keeps the show going. Plus, the unpredictability of fan involvement makes the series that much more thrilling to watch. Sure, these are real people genuinely looking for love on what's supposed to be a dreamy summer vacation. But at the end of the day, it's also a dating game show. Audiences have always crowned the winning couple, but to do that this season, we need at least one pair worth rooting for. If that means fans have to stir the pot to help people find the right match, so be it. On this show, if love isn't in the air, drama is the next best thing. Either way it goes, I'll still be tuned into Peacock at 6 p.m. PT sharp every day (except Wednesdays). Subscribe to The Culture Catchall to stay up to date on all things entertainment.
