With MONSTA X's (몬스타엑스) upcoming 10th anniversary '2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X' concert taking place from 18th July (Friday) to 20th July (Sunday), fans are already bursting with excitement for a new release. Now, with the promise of their first album since December 2021, anticipation for the group's return has grown stronger than ever. This concert not only marks their first full-group performance in 3 years, but also opens the door to a thrilling new chapter in their 10-year run. 'We're already preparing for our comeback. We already finished recording a long time ago. I can't tell you the exact time frame, but within the company, the date has already been set. A significant portion [of the comeback] has already been prepared.' Eager to keep fans on their toes, Joohoney (주헌) cheerfully revealed that MONSTA X's new album will drop in September 2025. 'I'll just tell you the month when our new album will be released,' he stated. 'It's coming out in September. It'll be released as quickly as possible.' His hint immediately sparked excitement among MONBEBEs eager for new music. Soon after the revelation, Starship Entertainment shared the album's first concept photos on the group's official social media. MONSTA X's I.M announces a break from group activities citing 'health concerns'
The youngest member of popular K-pop group MONSTA X announced that he will be sitting out of the group's activities for the time being. The news comes around the same time that a fellow member has officially returned home after completing his military service, ahead of the group's tenth anniversary. The group's management agency issued a statement regarding the matter. In an official statement by Allkpop, the group said, "Hello, We would like to provide an update regarding I.M's upcoming activities. Recently, I.M. visited the hospital due to health concerns. Following a medical examination, he was advised to minimise his schedule and take sufficient rest for recovery." The group's youngest member will focus on his recovery, and his schedule will be adjusted accordingly, the announcement said. "As the artist's health is our top priority, we have decided that I.M will focus on his recovery for the time being. Accordingly, I.M's upcoming schedules, including group activities, will be adjusted flexibly,' they added. The agency asked fans to be understanding of this decision and promised to support the artist until he can return to his fans in good health. Monsta X to hold concerts in Korea, Japan in July
Monsta X announced via agency Starship Entertainment Thursday that it would hold its first full-member concerts in three years in July. Under the title 'Connect X,' the band is planning three days of shows in Seoul on July 18-20. The last day's live performance will be broadcast online as well. On Aug. 27-28, the group will hit the stage in Yokohama, Japan. The six members hinted at the concerts during a livestream on Wednesday to celebrate their 10th anniversary. They reunited after everyone, except the youngest, I.M, completed serving their mandatory military duty, including Hyungwon who was discharged on the previous day. Monsta X dropped digital compilation album 'Now Project Vol. 1' to mark the milestone, re-recording previously published songs to add the voices of members who could not join for the originals.

The title 'Now' is a nod to the present and a reverse of 'Mon,' the prefix in the group's name, symbolizing a reflection on the group's identity and timeline. Debuting in May 2015, with its first EP 'Trespass,' Monsta X celebrates exactly 10 years since their debut by reuniting all six members for this special release. The album includes 10 tracks previously released between 2021 and 2023, during which leader Shownu was completing his mandatory military service and unable to participate. Monsta X to drop digital album to mark 10th year
Monsta X will roll out a digital compilation album on May 14, in time for its tenth debut anniversary, agency Starship Entertainment said Tuesday. 'Now Project Vol. 1" will consist of ten tracks, released between 2021 and 2023 while the members completed their military service, that have been rerecorded to feature all six members. The band of six will return as a full group when Hyungwon is discharged on Tuesday. Everyone except the youngest member I.M will have completed their mandatory service. Monsta X debuted with EP 'Trespass' in 2015, and its last album was the 12th mini album 'Reason' in January 2023. Gearing up for its full group return, it launched a fan communication channel in April and an original show last week.
