The Best Men's Sunglasses of the Summer
As far as accessories go, few have more ROI than a great pair of sunglasses. After all, they sit right there, perched in the middle of your face, the very first thing a person sees when they clap eyes on you. While their raison d'être is functional—to filter out dastardly ultraviolet rays—their added benefit is to evoke a certain stylistic mood and create a bit of mystique. Classicists can rely on styles that are impervious to the whims of fashion (wayfarers, say, or aviators), but for those who care to dabble in something trendy, shades are an easy entry point. As fate would have it, today is National Sunglasses Day (a real thing, we assure you) and we've seized the moment to pick out a few models that might help you face these sunny days and strange times. In recent years wellness has dominated popular conversation, and suddenly working out and eating 'right' has become something of a national obsession. That has spilled over from the treadmill and weight room floor into real life—just look at the ubiquity of athleisure and the rise of run clubs for proof. So it's no surprise that even sunglasses are getting the sporty treatment. Sleek, streamlined shapes and shiny, iridescent lenses are an easy way to give an outfit some instant energy. Try a pair of the Prada Linea Rossa (above, $450) or the Oakley Eye Jacket Redux (below, $186).

Yankees Urged To Swing Rare Intra-Divisional Trade For Infielder
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. The New York Yankees hold onto the lead of the loaded American League East, but if they don't upgrade their infield and starting rotation, they might not have this lead for long. While the Yankees have tried every internal approach possible to fill these gaping roster voids, it seems like they're going to need to turn to the trade market for a solid upgrade. Zachary Howell of Clutch Points recently suggested the Yankees could trade infield prospect Jesus Rodriguez to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for veteran infielder Ramón Urías. It would be a rare intra-divisional trade between two AL East rivals. DETROIT, MI - AUGUST 17: A detailed view of the Oakley sunglasses and custom MLB Players' Weekend baseball hat used by Aaron Judge #99 of the New York Yankees during the game against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park on August 17, 2024 in Detroit, Michigan. The Tigers defeated the Yankees 4-0. More Mark Cunningham/MLB Photos via Getty Images "This trade nets the Yankees another versatile defensive piece to throw at their problem at second base. Urias is an above-average fielder with enough pop at the plate to give Boone confidence putting him in his order," Howell wrote. "Trades that stay within the AL East are rare, especially between the Orioles and Yankees, though. "Despite Baltimore's belief that they can recover their season, not much has changed. Urias joins a growing list of players that could be moved at the deadline to contenders who want them. The Yankees need him more so to cover their defensive weakness at second, but he would also be an offensive upgrade over LeMahieu." It would be quite shocking to see the Orioles swing a deal with the Yankees to help push the Bronx Bombers in the right direction, but Urías is clearly an expendable player on Baltimore's roster. This trade could make sense, but it's more likely the Yankees will be forced to look outside the division for help. Still, adding an infielder will likely sit at the top of the Yankees' priorities this season. More MLB: Red Sox Need Righty Pop; Could Braves $65 Million Slugger Be Fit?
