'Saiyaara' has broken all the records as it's the biggest opening film with newcomers. While Aneet Padda was earlier seen in 'Salaam Venky', this is her big debut movie of sort. Meanwhile, this is Ahaan Panday 's first film. This Mohit Suri directorial as a huge surprise to everyone as it clocked in Rs 21 crore on the opening day. The film did not stop there, it saw further growth on Saturday and it seems like the day 3, Sunday numbers would be even higher. While on Saturday, it made Rs 25 crore, the number on day 3 till Sunday after stands at Rs 9.75 crore, the film has now crossed the Rs 50 crore mark. The total collection of 'Saiyaara' so far, according to Sacnilk is Rs 55.75crore. This is huge and if the Sunday numbers are bigger than Saturday and the movie even touches Rs 30 crore on day 3, the total collection of the first three days may touch Rs 80 crore which is huge for a film of this sort. But a Rs 75 crore plus weekend is surely guaranteed for the movie. There's just positive word of mouth surrounding the movie and as per Box Office India, it has done an unthinkable business in some mass centres of North, Bihar, West Bengal and Rajasthan and CI. Usually, it's only movies which do well in multiplex and single screens both, which manage to get those numbers and shockingly, 'Saiyaara' isn't just appealing to the youth at multiplexes in big cities but also small centres. That perhaps has got to do with the film's music and the 'Aashiqui 2' nostalgia which the film is bringing. Many are also feeling that this one could just be 'Aashiqui 3'. Day wise collection of the film: Day 1 [1st Friday]₹ 21.00 Cr- Day 2 [1st Saturday]₹ 25.00 Cr Day 3 [1st Sunday afternoon]₹ 9.75 Cr **- Total₹ 55.75 Cr

'Metro..In Dino' box office collection day 1 (LIVE): The multi-starrer movie faces competition from 'Jurassic World Rebirth' and 'Sitaare Zameen Par'
The sequel to the 2007 film 'Life In A Metro' has now released on Friday, July 4 and it's titled, ' Dino'. This seqeul stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta. Directed by Anurag Basu with Pritam's music, there are high hopes from this one but it has begun on a slow note on day 1. The film is expected to grow with positive word of mouth, and thus, one may see better numbers on Saturday and Sunday. However, it is facing a tough competition from the Hollywood biggie, 'Jurassic World Rebirth'. On Friday afternoon, till now, ' Dino' has collected Rs 1 crore. Metro…In Dino Movie Review Meanwhile, 'Jurassic World Rebirth' has made around Rs 3.77 crore till the same time, according to Sacnilk. Thus, clearly, this iconic Hollywood franchise is clearly leading. According to Box Office India, the film film of the Jurassic franchise had released in 1994 and it was the first Hollywood movie to cross the Rs 10 crore mark. That's quite a big deal and since then all the movies of this franchise have continued to do well. In this case, ' Dino' may just take a backseat. But, it also seems like Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par' which has been running well since the last two weeks has also seen a drop and is facing competition from 'Jurassic World Rebirth'. It has made only Rs 64 lakhs till Friday afternoon. There's also Brad Pitt 's 'F1' which is doing well at the box office. Just as its name suggests, ' Dino' is expected to find an audience just in the metros and multiplexes, and not two-tier, three tier centres. Thus, the collection is ought to be slow and moderate. But with positive word of mouth, the film may be able to catch up. Moreover, the songs of this one have not gotten as popular as the songs from the first part. For a film like this, it was essential that the music gets more popular and also reaches the roots. Day wise collection of the movie: Day 1 [1st Friday] ₹ 1 Cr ** - Total ₹ 1 Cr
