Tragic new details of Michael Madsen's death revealed after Reservoir Dogs star found unresponsive at home
MICHAEL Madsen's cause of death has been revealed - less than a week after the Reservoir Dogs star was found unresponsive in his home. The actor, who also starred in Kill Bill and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, died from heart failure. 1 Heart disease and alcoholism are also believed to have been contributory factors, as reported by the NBC affiliate KNBC-TV. There will not be an autopsy into his death. Cops have also ruled out any foul play. Madsen's manager confirmed that he suffered a cardiac arrest. His family and agents led the tributes to the Hollywood star. Madsen's sister, Virginia, described him as "thunder and velvet." "My brother Michael has left the stage," she told Variety. "Mischief wrapped in tenderness. A poet disguised as an outlaw. "A father, a son, a brother—etched in contradiction, tempered by love that left its mark.'

Moreover, the 39-year-old star shared her experience picking up a guitar again and rehearsing for the character's on-stage appearance. 'The second I started with my guitar coach again, it was like we never left,' Lohan recalled, explaining that it felt like no time had passed. 'It was the same guitar, everything. It was like it was yesterday.' Lastly, the 2000s It Girl hinted at bigger and more exciting moments, especially with Anna Coleman's show-stopping solo. The actor was found unresponsive at his home in Malibu, California, on Thursday morning and pronounced dead, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department watch commander Christopher Jauregui said. Madsen died following a cardiac arrest, his manager Ron Smith said, while authorities said they do not suspect any foul play was involved. The US actor was best known for collaborations with Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino in films including The Hateful Eight, Kill Bill: Vol 1 and 2 and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. In Reservoir Dogs, Madsen starred as Mr Blonde where he danced to Stealers Wheel's 1972 hit Stuck In The Middle With You whilst wielding a razor during a torture scene. In a joint statement, his managers Susan Ferris and Mr Smith and publicist Liz Rodriguez said: 'In the last two years Michael Madsen has been doing some incredible work with independent film including upcoming feature films Resurrection Road, Concessions and Cookbook For Southern Housewives, and was really looking forward to this next chapter in his life. 'Michael was also preparing to release a new book called Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughts And Poems currently being edited. 'Michael Madsen was one of Hollywood's most iconic actors, who will be missed by many.' His film career spanned more than four decades and included over 300 titles, his publicist said. The actor also starred in the Free Willy film franchise as Glen Greenwood, the adoptive father of protagonist Jesse Greenwood – played by Jason James Richter in the first three films from 1993 until 1997.
