Tired of too many ads? go ad free now "The teacher recruitment process is carried out through the 'Pavitra' portal at present. Necessary assessment is being made to introduce a similar centralised online process for recruiting non-teaching staff," said state education commissioner Sachindra Pratap Singh. He was speaking at the state-level review meeting of the school education department in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city. Clerical staff, librarians, and different posts from non-teaching sections are likely to be filled through the govt portal. The two-day meeting, which concluded on Saturday, also saw discussions on setting July 31 as the cut-off date for deciding the staffing pattern in govt-run schools. The existing deadline for the same is Sept 30. Earlier, addressing the meeting on Friday, School education minister Dada Bhuse said the 'CM SHRI Shala' scheme would be implemented in the state on the lines of the Centre's 'PM SHRI' school scheme. "About 5,000 schools will be developed under the CM SHRI Shala scheme in the state. Also, one class from 10,000 schools across Maharashtra will be made an ideal class," he said. Bhuse also said that the opposition parties were engaging in false propaganda as Hindi was being introduced as a mandatory language in schools all across. Maharashtra. The review meeting also saw brainstorming on charting out the action plan of the School Education Department for preparing 'Vision 20247' and the official response to the call by CM Devendra Fadnavis for making a '150-day action plan' for every govt department.

Kerala opts out of PM SHRI school scheme, plans legal action over withheld funds

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Education Minister on Wednesday said that the state will not sign the agreement to implement the Centre's flagship PM Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) scheme. "At the meeting, barring the student wing (ABVP) of the RSS, the general decision that has been arrived at by all the student unions is that Kerala need not sign the agreement. Both the SFI (the student wing of the CPI-M) and the KSU (student wing of the Congress) agreed to it," Sivankutty said, after a meeting with recognised student unions. "The federal principles are very clear, and hence it's the prerogative of the signing authority to sign or not, and none can force anyone to sign on the dotted line," he added. "We operate based on a poll manifesto, and in it, there is no mention of this, and hence we cannot sign this," the minister said. When the decision was being arrived at the meeting, the representatives of the ABVP, after expressing their strong desire that Kerala should sign the agreement, walked out of the office of Sivankutty. The minister also pointed out that the Kerala government will seek legal recourse against the Centre's decision to withhold the release of Rs 1,500 crore to the state under various centrally sponsored education schemes. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like เทรด CFDs ด้วยเทคโนโลยีเทรดสุดล้ำ และ รวดเร็วกว่า IC Markets อ่านเพิ่มเติม Undo PM SHRI is a scheme under the Union Ministry of Education, aiming to upgrade more than 14,500 existing schools across the country, and transform them into model institutions that embody the spirit of the National Education Policy-2020. So far, 12,400 schools from primary level to higher secondary, in 670 districts across the country, have become part of the scheme. But schools under state boards in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal have not been part of the scheme as the agreement to this has not been signed. Is your child ready for the careers of tomorrow? State will not join PM SHRI, says Sivankutty

T'puram: After an abortive attempt to join PM SHRI (Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India) scheme, the general education department decided to withdraw from it. General education minister V Sivankutty announced the decision on Wednesday after a meeting with student organizations. Sivankutty said that enrolling in PM SHRI scheme would be suicidal because it means accepting NEP (National Education Policy). He added that all student groups, except ABVP, wanted the govt to reject the scheme. Earlier, CPM had decided to join the scheme because the state would lose a significant amount of central assistance if it skipped the initiative. State govt also said the Centre was withholding its share of several education schemes because Kerala refused to join PM SHRI. Sivankutty had brought the scheme to the state cabinet for approval, but CPI representatives in the govt objected and vetoed it. After that, Sivankutty criticized CPI state secretary Binoy Viswam and questioned whether the agriculture department, led by the CPI minister, would also refuse to sign several central govt schemes. Sivankutty said the Centre withheld around Rs 1,500 crore owed to Kerala. He added that the state govt is exploring legal options to recover the funds after repeated appeals to the Centre failed. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 40세 넘고 PC만 있으면? 이 게임 완전 내 거임! The state govt decided not to sign the scheme because several conditions are unacceptable," he said. LDF, which organized protests against NEP, alleged that the policy promotes privatization and communalization of education. It also said that PM SHRI scheme required schools to display the Prime Minister's picture and change their names to PM SHRI Schools. Sivankutty said that state govt has taken steps to include the powers and responsibilities of the governor in Class X textbook. The chapter, under the title 'Conflicts in the Indian Federal System' also explains the Emergency as a crisis in Indian democracy.

The State cannot be a signatory to PM-SHRI (PM Schools for Rising India) in the current state of the scheme, Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty has said. The Minister on Wednesday met representatives of student organisations to discuss the issue and the withholding of funds to the State. The Minister said the State could not comply with the provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP). However, the PM SHRI scheme mandated the implementation of NEP. The Union government had withheld ₹1,500 crore due to the State under various Centrally sponsored education schemes for not inking the PM-SHRI agreement, the Minister said. Mr. Sivankutty said he had met Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan twice seeking sanction of funds to no avail. The State government was mulling steps, including legal action, to get the funds. 'Everyone should stand united to ensure that the State gets its due share of funds,' the Minister said. Representatives of Students Federation of India, All India Students' Federation, Kerala Students Union, and other student unions and General Education Secretary K. Vasuki attended the meeting.
