Horror moment reveller is smashed in head with BOTTLE during Magaluf brawl as two Brit tourists arrested over clash

THIS is the horrifying moment a man is smashed in the head with a glass bottle during a Magaluf brawl. Two Brits have been arrested for attempted murder after they allegedly slashed customers and staff at a restaurant during the late-night assault. 3 3 They are reportedly a 24-year-old and a 33-year-old who have also been charged with injuries and serious disturbance of public order. Shocking CCTV captured the savage attack as a tourist was seen grabbing a bottle before crashing it onto the back of a reveller's head. The man went on to try and throw a punch at others with two people being left injured. The 24-year-old Brit was held after cops rushed to the party resort and saw him confronting others as he was covered in blood and waved a broken bottle in his hand. It is unclear if either of the British men are the ones in the footage. According to witnesses, the man, his companion and two other people who had fled, had assaulted both employees and two unknown people, customers of the restaurant. Several ambulances were called to the scene with three victims being rushed to the Son Espases Hospital. They suffered wounds on their neck, head, arms and legs, local media reports. A spokesman for the Civil Guard confirmed: "Two people aged 24 and 33 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide, wounding and causing serious public disorder following an incident at a nightspot in Palmanova. 'The arrests occurred in the early hours of Sunday." They added: 'Officers sent to Majorca as part of summer reinforcements were carrying out routine security patrols when they were alerted a mass might was occurring in a premises near to where they were. 'They saw a man covered in blood brandishing a broken bottle who was attacking others present. 'They quickly reduced him and got the broken bottle off him." Two other people fled the scene before police arrived, police added. The nationality of those injured has not been revealed. It is also not yet known if the two Brits have been formally charged or have appeared in court. It comes after shocking footage captured the moment a Magaluf doorman floored a British tourist with a flurry of punches after being bottled in a horror attack. The bouncer was left with a nasty gash that needed at least 20 stitches - and the Brit has now been convicted over the assault at Plaza on the bustling Punta Ballena strip. CCTV footage showed the Lithuanian bouncer exploding at Max Barnes, then 19, who he has up against a wall after the drinker bottled him. He unloads a series of sharp jabs in the packed nightspot, acting in self-defence. The customer dodges as many as he can but some of the blows land home. The fight spills into the middle of the bar, where the bouncer delivers one more clean whack that sends the customer sprawling onto the floor. He then brings his hand to his blood-covered face and neck to inspect the damage. The 34-year-old doorman was left with a gash needing 20 stitches, a court was told.

Fuming holidaymakers foil fellow Brits' sneaky plans to secure sunbeds seven hours before hotel pool opens

A group of fuming holidaymakers foiled a sneaky plan by fellow Brits to secure sunbeds seven hours before their hotel pool opened. Whilst enjoying a late-night chat on their balcony in Majorca, Mandy Boyd spotted some lads she thought were taking a cheeky dip in the pool. However, on further inspection, the 34-year-old noticed the young men were attempting to secure the best beds at 2am. The pool was actually not opening until 9am the following day. The group of four girls watched on as the lads pulled out their sunloungers to try and secure the best spots. Mandy and her friends quietly waited on the balcony for the perfect moment to run down and take the towels. The hilarious sunbed wars foiling took place around 2am at the Aquasol Aparthotel, Palmanova, near Magaluf, Spain. However, on further inspection, the 34-year-old noticed the young men were attempting to secure the best beds at 2am Accompanied by her friend, Sally Willows, the pair got down to the pool and quickly snatched the towels on Sunday night. 'We're just doing the Lord's work,' Mandy of Bridgend, South Wales, told Luxury Travel Daily. 'I hate it when people reserve sunbeds and don't use them all day. 'I just find it really inconsiderate. 'It was shocking to see them reserving beds at 2am, especially when there was zero chance of those lads being up to enjoy them. 'We kept the towels, but made sure we left them where they would find them.' Fellow holidaymakers applauded the girls' foiling of sun bed wars. Jo Townsend said: 'Guarantee they wouldn't have come down to the pool until about 11am as well.' Sue added: 'You have taken sunbed wars to a whole new level.' She added: 'It was shocking to see them reserving beds at 2am, especially when there was zero chance of those lads being up to enjoy them' Jaynie said: 'Well done ladies.' Lou said: 'B***** hell girls, this is taking sunbed wars too far.' One added: 'You should've left a ransom note.' It comes after British holidaymakers were seen queuing for over an hour in a bid to secure the best poolside spots at a Canary Islands resort. Sunseekers armed with towels, suncream, and flipflops were captured in bizarre footage on May 28 lining up for the pool at the Barceló Lanzarote Active Resort, Las Palmas, Spain. It appears the sunbed wars are now in full swing with hotel guests setting alarms extra early just to form queues to the pool area until staff give them the all clear. The queue of people has become a regular morning routine for holidaymakers at the Spanish hotel according to guests. Isabelle Hanssen, whose balcony overlooks the pool watched on at the pool goers eagerly waited in line. According to the halfpipe skier, the queue is usually made up of Brits with a few Germans also standing in line. Isabelle, from the Netherlands, also revealed that the queues start from as early as 8am despite the pool not opening until 9:30am.
