Acting nonchalant while Paul Mescal bowls beside you? These TikTokers nailed it

These TikTok users have shared their hilarious reaction to running into none other than Paul Mescal while out at their local bowling alley. While clearly excited to run into the Gladiator II star out and about in London, the group of friends opted to play it cool over fangirling. Sharing the short clip to social media, the moment quickly went viral, garnering over 400K views and counting. These TikTok users have shared their hilarious reaction to running into none other than Paul Mescal while out at their local bowling alley. Pic:Soundtracked to Party 4 U by Charli XCX, the video shows a brief clip of Paul bowling a strike followed by clips of the friend group acting unbothered by his presence. TikTok user @laurennntaylorr aptly captioned the video: 'pov acting nonchalant when paul mescal is bowling next to you.' Fans of the star were quick to take to the comments, with many jealous of the chance interaction. 'I would honestly let him hit me with the bowling ball,' one viewer joked, while another added: 'Nah you best believe I'd win him over with my bowling skills.' 'I'd be the opposite of whatever nonchalant is. i'd be chalant,' a third confessed. 'Seeing paul mescal at a bowling alley is one of the worst things that could ever happen to me mentally that would change the trajectory of my life a million times over,' a fourth penned. Elsewhere, Paul was visibly emotional late last month after his latest film received a nine-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival. The Maynooth man starts alongside Josh O'Connor in queer romance The History of Sound, which premiered at the iconic film festival. The film, which spans over a few decades, was director by Oliver Hermanus and sees Paul play talented singer Lionel who leaves his family and meets David (played by O'Connor) for a brief period.

Charli xcx Strips to Her Underwear & Vandalizes Her Own Billboard in ‘Party 4 U' Music Video

Charli xcx is a party of one in her new music video for 'Party 4 U,' which finds the star revisiting a fan-favorite track from 2020 while spending a day by herself in the middle of nowhere before things get wildly out of control. In the visual released Thursday (May 15) — the five-year anniversary date of Charli's How I'm Feeling Now album, which features 'Party 4 U' — the Essex native starts out inside a house on the morning after a big blowout, with empty bottles, balloons and an abandoned birthday cake strewn around the rooms. She steps out in a polka-dot dress, occasionally dragging on a cigarette, while walking down a sun-bleached blacktop road out in the country, eventually deciding to strip her clothes off and make the rest of the trek in her white bra and underwear. After tearing up the enormous poster's canvas with her hands and splashing black paint across her own enlarged face, she lights it on fire and walks away as flames burn down the advertisement. 'Only threw this party for you, for you, for you/ I was hoping you would come through,' she sings on the emotionally charged electronic pop track. 'I'm about to party on you/ Watch me, watch me party on you.' The visual comes a full half-decade after Charli originally released 'Party 4 U' and How I'm Feeling Now in 2020. Five years later — and only after she experienced a career breakthrough in 2024 with critically acclaimed album Brat — the track has seen a streaming resurgence thanks to newfound TikTok virality, debuting on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time in May. To make the most of the song's unexpected renaissance, and to celebrate the anniversary of her fourth studio album, Charli teamed up with director Mitch Ryan to shoot a music video for 'Party 4 U' 'I really can't believe that 5 years later one of the Angel favorites is having its own special moment,' she explained in a handwritten letter on Instagram teasing the visual one day prior. 'So obviously I wanted to do something to celebrate … This one's for you Angels.' Watch Charli's 'Party 4 U' music video above. See Charli XCX Light Herself on Fire (Sort of) in ‘Party 4 U' Video

As promised, Charli XCX has shared the new video for 'Party 4 U' to celebrate the fifth anniversary of her album How I'm Feeling Now, which was released on this day in 2020. The Mitch Ryan-directed video, based on a concept by the singer, concludes with Charli XCX setting a billboard with her own face on it on fire, perhaps a metaphor for her closing out that chapter in her life. 'So much has changed since then: me, my life, elements of my music and most definitely the world,' XCX wrote. 'I made the album in just five weeks, from conception to release, entirely publicly in collaboration with all of you. It was so special. I felt like I rediscovered myself, my sanity + my sense of connection with the world, at a time where we were all so alone.' In addition to the 'Party 4 U' video, Charli XCX is also celebrating How I'm Feeling Now's anniversary with a limited-time-only vinyl repress of the LP, which is available now at her online shop. 'Obviously I wanted to do something to celebrate,' Charli hinted in the handwritten letter. 'It was all of us at our most raw, our most stripped, our most vulnerable. I will never forget it, and I really can't believe that 5 years later one of the Angel favorites is having its own special moment.'
