The New England Patriots will debut a new uniform for their NFL Nike Rivalries game slated for November 13 for Thursday Night Football against the New York Jets. This news was confirmed by the team in a social media post on Friday. The Patriots also announced that fans will get their first look at the new uniforms on August 28. So fans can spend the time in between speculating on what the new uniforms will look like. The Patriots have already announced that they will be wearing their classic 'Pat Patriot' uniforms for two games this season. They will be wearing the popular red jerseys in the Week 3 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Week 13 Monday Night Football game against the New York Giants. The Week 11 matchup against the Jets on November 13 will be a home game for the Patriots. Fans can let their imagination go wild on the potential color collages that could happen. The New England Patriots announced when fans can expect to see them wearing their popular throwback uniforms. On social media, the Patriots revealed that they'll be wearing the red "Pat Patriot" throwbacks for their Week 3 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers and their Week 10 game against the New York Giants during the 2025 season. The Pat Patriot uniforms served as the team's primary uniforms from 1960-1992. To this very day, some still consider the red jerseys the best look for the Patriots. So it's no surprise to see fans excited when the team can dig them out of the closet for games. The New England Patriots will be getting a new alternate jerseys this season as part of the NFL's new program. Nike announced Tuesday that the NFL is kicking off 'Rivalries,' a program in which teams will wear special uniforms for select home games against rivals. Advertisement An important note for Patriots fans: The new 'Rivalries' jerseys will be added in addition to existing alternate uniforms. That means the red throwback 'Pat Patriot' jerseys will not be affected by the new look. The uniforms and jerseys themselves have yet to be revealed. Those uniforms became synonymous with Drew Bledsoe's time as the Patriots' quarterback. The franchise went from the bottom of the league to playing for the Super Bowl just a few years after making the uniform swap with Bledsoe emerging as one of the league's top quarterbacks. Regardless, it seems like the royal blue uniforms are returning in 2025, at least if Maye is to be believed. It's just a question of whether they'll be their primary uniforms or one of their two alternate looks.
