Rodriguez/Getty Images) Rock icon Stevie Nicks is adding shows to her upcoming U.S. tour following the cancellation of concert dates with the ailing Billy Joel. Nicks was set to join Joel for four shows during her 2025 U.S. concert tour, beginning on Aug. 8 with a concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford New Jersey. However, Joel was forced to cancel all upcoming concerts while he is being treated for the brain disorder normal pressure hydrocephalus, or NPH. Joel was also set to co-headline with Nicks on Oct. 4 in Santa Clara, Calif., Oct. 18 in New Orleans and Nov. 15 in Detroit. The former Fleetwood Mac singer will kick off her 2025 U.S. solo tour on Aug. 8, in Brooklyn, N.Y., which is one of eight new shows she added to her upcoming schedule of shows. In addition, Nicks added concerts on Sept. 3 in Hollywood, Fla., Sept. 7 in Detroit, Oct. 1 in Portland, Ore., Oct. 4 in Sacramento, Calif., Oct. 18 in Atlantic City, N.J., Oct. 21 in Charlotte, N.C. and Oct. 25 in Hartford, Conn. Stevie Nicks announced the new tour dates and her revised schedule on her website and on social media on Monday. Nicks' site has links to where tickets can be purchased for all shows on her upcoming tour, as well as the new dates. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET and general ticket sales start Friday at 10 a.m. Nicks, of course, wrote and sang some of Fleetwood Mac's biggest hits, including 'Dreams,' 'Rhiannon,' 'I Don't Wanna Know,' 'Gold Dust Woman,' 'Landslide' and 'Seven Wonders.' The 77-singer-songwriter's solo hits include 'Edge of Seventeen,' 'Stand Back,' 'If Anyone Falls,' 'Stop Draggin' My Heart Around' (with Tom Petty) and 'Leather and Lace' (with Don Henley). Stevie Nicks has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. The first induction came in 1998 when she joined the Rock Hall as a member of Fleetwood Mac, along with bandmates Christine McVie, John McVie, Lindsay Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood. In 2019, Nicks became the first woman in Rock Hall history to be inducted twice when she was enshrined as a solo artist.

Stevie Nicks says these musicians could have been in Fleetwood Mac

Los Angeles pop-rock group Haim got the Stevie Nicks stamp of approval, with the former Fleetwood Mac singer revealing they're collaborating on music. Nicks gushed about the band — composed of sisters Alana, Este and Danielle Haim — during a recent interview with GQ, deeming their music as 'something that I have never heard before.' 'Coming from Mick Fleetwood's great love of their kind of percussion, for me in a way, it's like coming home,' she said of their sound. 'They could certainly all have been in Fleetwood Mac.' The Haim sisters released their debut album, 'Days Are Gone,' in 2013 and have gradually risen to mainstream prominence after touring with pop superstar Taylor Swift on her '1989' tour in 2015, and again on her Eras Tour in 2024. They also collaborated with Swift on her song 'No Body No Crime' in 2020. Now Haim is gearing up to release its fourth album, 'I Quit,' due out June 20. 'It starts with Danielle's voice — it is just stunning,' Nicks said of the middle Haim sister. 'She's the first part of the puzzle, but then the percussion that Este and Alana wrap around her turn all of their songs into percussive masterpieces.' Nicks went on to share that she's working with the 'Summer Girl' group on new material, adding that 'some day, when you tumble into this song, you will understand everything I have just told you.' It is unclear if said collaboration would be for Nicks' upcoming solo project, which she said was inspired by her experiences with various men in her life. 'I'm not pulling any punches for probably the first time in my life. They are not airy-fairy songs,' she said when announcing the album at the Pollstar Awards in April. 'They're real stories of memories of mine of fantastic men.' The untitled record will mark Nicks' first original album since 2011's 'In Your Dreams.' A release date has yet to be announced. Nicks was meant to return to the Bay Area for a co-headlining performance with Billy Joel at Levi's Stadium in October, but the show, and the rest of Joel's scheduled concerts, were canceled due to his recent medical issues.

Stevie Nicks adds solo Northern California show after canceling tour with Billy Joel

It looks like Stevie Nicks will be performing in Northern California this year after all. The former Fleetwood Mac singer has extended her summer 2025 tour and is now scheduled for a concert at Sacramento's Golden 1 Center on Oct. 4, the same night that she was meant to play the now canceled show at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara with Billy Joel. Compensating for those canceled dates, Nicks added a total of eight new concerts, including performances at Brooklyn's Barclays Center (Aug. 8), Portland's MODA Center (Oct. 1) and Harftord's PeoplesBank Arena (Oct. 25). Ticket presales for all of Nicks' newly announced shows start at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18. The general sale begins at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20. Nicks revealed that she's working on a new solo project inspired by her experiences with various men in her life during the Pollstar Awards in April. 'I'm not pulling any punches for probably the first time in my life. They are not airy-fairy songs,' she said about the album during the event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. 'They're real stories of memories of mine of fantastic men.' A release date has yet to be announced for the untitled project. The singer also revealed during an interview with GQ that she has been working on music with Los Angeles pop-rock trio Haim, though she never confirmed if it's for her forthcoming album. It is unclear whether Nicks plans to perform any new material on her tour. Nicks had been touring with Joel since 2023, before the 'Piano Man' singer's recent diagnosis prompted him to pull out of a total of 17 dates, including shows with Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Sting and Rod Stewart. Joel's team said that his condition, which is caused by excess cerebrospinal fluid, was worsening with live performances and leading to various hearing, vision and balance problems. 'Under his doctor's instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period,' read a statement shared to his Instagram

Stevie Nicks united with this Grateful Dead legend at the Pollstar Awards

Two of the Bay Area's biggest music stars converged last week, making for a rare appearance together. Former Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks and Grateful Dead co-founder Bob Weir posed for a photo with Weir's Dead & Company bandmate John Mayer while backstage during the 36th annual Pollstar Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 16. 'The 2025 Pollstar Awards brought legends together,' the post, shared by the concert and live music data company on Saturday, April 19, read. 'Moments like these are pure magic.' In the photo, Nicks, wearing a long simple black dress and a stack of necklaces, is standing between the two bandmates while leaning on Mayer's shoulder. The image, posted to Pollstar's official Instagram account over the weekend, has since garnered more than 1,500 likes and dozens of fan comments. During the ceremony at the Beverly Hilton, Nicks announced that she is working on her first new album in 14 years, which she's currently referring to as a 'ghost record.' 'I have seven songs, and they are autobiographical real stories,' she said during the ceremony. 'I'm not pulling any punches for probably the first time in my life. They are not airy-fairy songs. … They're real stories of memories of mine of fantastic men.' Nicks, who is scheduled to return to the Bay Area in October for a co-headlining concert with Billy Joel at Santa Clara's Levi's Stadium (not far from San Jose State University, which she briefly attended in the late 1960s), isn't the only musician that Weir has hung out with recently. In February, the San Francisco native posed for photos with pop star Taylor Swift at the Grammy Awards, putting their opposing football loyalties aside. Swift is a loyal fan of her boyfriend Travis Kelce's team, the Kansas City Chiefs, while Weir is a longtime fan of the San Francisco 49ers. Since 1989, a specially selected group of industry professionals consider nominations for the Pollstar Awards, which recognize trailblazers in the live music industry. This year, honorees included stars such as Swift, Bad Bunny and Bruce Springsteen. Weir and Mayer received the award for residency of the year for their recent shows with Dead & Company on Wednesday, while Nicks was inducted into Pollstar's Live Hall of Fame for her solo work and her Fleetwood Mac legacy.
