Stevie Nicks Adds Shows To Replace Nixed Billy Joel Co-Headline Dates
Rock icon Stevie Nicks is adding shows to her upcoming U.S. tour following the cancellation of concert dates with the ailing Billy Joel.
Nicks was set to join Joel for four shows during her 2025 U.S. concert tour, beginning on Aug. 8 with a concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford New Jersey. However, Joel was forced to cancel all upcoming concerts while he is being treated for the brain disorder normal pressure hydrocephalus, or NPH.
Joel was also set to co-headline with Nicks on Oct. 4 in Santa Clara, Calif., Oct. 18 in New Orleans and Nov. 15 in Detroit.
The former Fleetwood Mac singer will kick off her 2025 U.S. solo tour on Aug. 8, in Brooklyn, N.Y., which is one of eight new shows she added to her upcoming schedule of shows.
In addition, Nicks added concerts on Sept. 3 in Hollywood, Fla., Sept. 7 in Detroit, Oct. 1 in Portland, Ore., Oct. 4 in Sacramento, Calif., Oct. 18 in Atlantic City, N.J., Oct. 21 in Charlotte, N.C. and Oct. 25 in Hartford, Conn.
Stevie Nicks announced the new tour dates and her revised schedule on her website and on social media on Monday.
Nicks' site has links to where tickets can be purchased for all shows on her upcoming tour, as well as the new dates. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET and general ticket sales start Friday at 10 a.m.
Nicks, of course, wrote and sang some of Fleetwood Mac's biggest hits, including 'Dreams,' 'Rhiannon,' 'I Don't Wanna Know,' 'Gold Dust Woman,' 'Landslide' and 'Seven Wonders.'
The 77-singer-songwriter's solo hits include 'Edge of Seventeen,' 'Stand Back,' 'If Anyone Falls,' 'Stop Draggin' My Heart Around' (with Tom Petty) and 'Leather and Lace' (with Don Henley).
Stevie Nicks has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. The first induction came in 1998 when she joined the Rock Hall as a member of Fleetwood Mac, along with bandmates Christine McVie, John McVie, Lindsay Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood.
In 2019, Nicks became the first woman in Rock Hall history to be inducted twice when she was enshrined as a solo artist.

Foo Fighters and Nine Inch Nails Basically Just Traded Drummers
Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin will learn to fly with Dave Grohl and co. after they parted ways with Josh Freese – who's going back to NIN Josh Freese's unexpected exit from the Foo Fighters may have hurt, but it didn't throw a monkey wrench into his career: No pretender, the drummer is set to rejoin Nine Inch Nails, whose current drummer, Ilan Rubin, will now learn to fly with the Foo Fighters. It wasn't planned as a trade, but it worked out that way – and in times like these, each band can now wish that they get the best of their respective timekeepers. More from TheWrap Chris Hayes Says He's 'Trying to Be Rational' About Epstein but Trump Officials Are 'Being Weird' | Video Foo Fighters and Nine Inch Nails Basically Just Traded Drummers 'South Park' Season 27 Premiere Nabs Almost 6 Million Viewers Across Platforms, Biggest Linear Share Since 1999 Media Columnist Erik Wemple Takes Washington Post Buyout, Will Join New York Times in September The Foo Fighters named Rubin their new drummer on Wednesday, according to multiple media reports citing unnamed sources. Rubin, the longtime touring drummer for Nine Inch Nails, was inducted with the band to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2020. Freese replaced the Foos' founding drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2023, but was asked to walk in May for creative-difference reasons that were not made public. Freese said he was 'shocked and disappointed' – but to say he was angry would be a terrible lie, as he wished his heroes well. And it wasn't everlong before Freese found a familiar hand that feeds. Freese had previously played with Nine Inch Nails' live tour from 2005 to 2008, but stepped away when he became a father to focus on his family. NIN confirmed Wednesday that Freese, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are, once again, all in this together – but only with a celebratory Instagram story. And if your head isn't already like a hole, it was Rubin who replaced Freese in 2009. Since it now seems that every day is exactly the same with these bands, he will do so again – but this time with Dave Grohl and his fellow Fighters. The timing couldn't be closer: Both bands are set for major tours, as NIN kicks off its Peel It Back tour next month, while the Foo Fighters will spend all their life on the road starting in October. Foo Fighters Reveal New Drummer 3 Years After Taylor Hawkins Death
Foo Fighters Reveal New Drummer 3 Years After Taylor Hawkins Death originally appeared on Parade. The Foo Fighters have officially welcomed a new drummer to the band, three years after the tragic death of Taylor Hawkins. Sources confirmed to The Hollywood Reporterin an article shared on Wednesday, July 30, that Ilan Rubin is stepping into the role, and he's no stranger to the rock world. A longtime touring member of Nine Inch Nails since 2009, he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the band in 2020, making history as the youngest-ever inductee at age 32. He also plays drums for Angels & Airwaves and has worked alongside composer Danny Elfman. Rubin's addition comes just two months after the Foo Fighters parted ways with Josh Freese, who joined the group in 2023 as Hawkins' successor. Freese confirmed his departure in May, writing on Instagram that the band had chosen 'to go in a different direction with their drummer,' and added, 'I'm not angry—just a bit shocked and disappointed.' 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 As Rubin joins the Foo Fighters, Freese will be returning to Nine Inch Nails, a reunion the band confirmed by tagging him in an Instagram story that read, 'let's f**king go.' Freese previously served as their live drummer from 2005 to 2008, before stepping away to focus on his family. While it's unclear whether Rubin is joining Foo Fighters as a permanent member or on a touring basis, sources say he informed Trent Reznor last week that he had 'accepted a job with another band.' The timing of the announcement aligns with Foo Fighters' upcoming international tour, which kicks off October 2 in Jakarta, followed by stops in Singapore, Tokyo, Osaka, and Mexico City. Earlier this month, the band released 'Today's Song' to celebrate their 30th anniversary. In a heartfelt letter to fans, frontman Dave Grohl paid tribute to Hawkins, writing, 'you are still in everything we do, everywhere we go, forever,' and thanked Freese, calling his time with the band 'thunderous wizardry.' The band's announcement and new song also follows headlines last year surrounding Grohl's personal life. In September 2024, the frontman publicly admitted on Instagram to being unfaithful to his wife, Jordyn Blum, and revealed that he had fathered a child outside their marriage. ‘The overall vibe was total chaos': Tesla Diner goes viral for long waits and mixed reviews
In case you've been living under a rock and haven't heard, the Tesla Diner opened its doors in Hollywood last week, and online reviews have been pouring in. While some raved about the food, others were left underwhelmed. One TikTok user said her family waited five hours to get into the retro-futuristic spot—a common complaint among reviews. Sampling the entire menu, which is served in Cybertruck -shaped boxes, she gave the spicy chicken sandwich a 10 out of 10 and called the tuna melt a 'sleeper hit.' The imaginatively named Tesla Burger, however, was 'giving overcooked smash burger,' she said. Another popular food reviewer, who posts under the handle @1hrlunchbreak, ordered $100 worth of food, including the hot dog (7.8 out of 10), the cinnamon roll (8.4), and the buttermilk biscuit with chorizo gravy—minus a missing egg—which still earned a 7. 'Overall the food was good but I wouldn't put anything in the 9s,' he concluded. The online menu, created by Le Cordon Bleu graduate Eric Greenspan (who also helped launch MrBeast Burger), features items like a grilled cheese, Wagyu beef chili, fried chicken and waffle, breakfast taco, egg sandwich, fries, and a variety of drinks. Rolling Stone reporter Miles Klee went viral on X after sharing an expectation-vs.-reality photo of the $12 'Epic Bacon' (now removed from the menu). 'I mean quality of the meat and cooking aside, if you want to serve bacon like fries you might at least get the right size container,' he wrote. went today and here's how it actually looks — Madame Bovary Summer (@youwouldntpost) July 25, 2025 Alongside the diner, the venue includes a drive-in movie theater (R.I.P. the neighboring apartments' view), a charging station, and, often, gatherings of Tesla Takedown protestors. 'This feels very dystopian,' one reviewer wrote. Tesla owners can order from their cars and receive priority in line, but one Tesla-driving reviewer still described the visit as 'the worst dining experience of my life.' Their Tesla app's ordering feature didn't work, which is reportedly a common issue. After joining the regular line and waiting more than an hour for their food, they eventually gave up and requested a refund. 'The overall vibe was total chaos,' the reviewer said. The diner has long been a dream of Elon Musk's. In 2018, the Tesla CEO tweeted, 'Gonna put an old school drive-in, roller skates & rock restaurant at one of the new Tesla Supercharger locations in LA.' Seven years on, he declared the finished restaurant to be 'one of the coolest spots in LA!' I just had dinner at the retro-futuristic @Tesla diner and Supercharger. Team did great work making it one of the coolest spots in LA! — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) July 14, 2025 That depends on who you ask. 'The last place I want to end up is a parking lot full of Tesla drivers,' one TikTok user said. 'I'd rather eat at an Applebees.'
