Community march against drug abuse
: On June 26, International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Proud Kerala will organize a community march in Kollam against drug menace. The initiative, led by Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala, aims to unite people from all walks of life to create a public resistance against the growing drug use among youth.

The march will start at 6am from Asramam Maidan and conclude at Chinnakada. An anti-drug pledge will be taken at the concluding event.
Proud Kerala chairman Malayinkeezhu Venugopal said that students, youth, volunteers, representatives of anti-alcohol and anti-drug organisations and cultural and political leaders will participate in the campaign.
