Johnny Gaudreau's legacy continues with the adorableness of Carter Michael Gaudreau's wardrobe
Meredith Gaudreau shares lovely details about Johnny Gaudreau's picks for Carter Michael Gaudreau's outfits (Image Via IG/@meredithgaudreau_ ) Every outfit worn by the youngest son of the late NHL idol, Johnny Gaudreau, Carter Michael Gaudreau, carries gentle reminders of love, memories, and fatherhood. Perhaps Carter is still quite young to comprehend the significance of his attire; however, every piece was chosen by his father as a testimony to love, warmth, and a life-beyond-bond spirit. Within these endearing peeks into the Gaudreau family, one can see that Johnny is still very much present in their daily lives. Meredith Gaudreau shares lovely details about Johnny Gaudreau's picks for Carter Michael Gaudreau's outfits Meredith captioned the story with the words, " Daddy and baby Johny." (Image Via IG/@meredithgaudreau_) Meredith Gaudreau, wife of the late NHL star Johnny Gaudreau, recently shared a few heartfelt glances into their newborn son Carter's wardrobe, which had all been chosen by Johnny himself before he passed away so suddenly. Among the stories was an image of baby Carter in very cozy cream-colored Harry Potter pajamas. These were not just any pajamas; they once belonged to his sister Noa, and they had been originally picked out by Johnny, so this reuse is extraordinarily sentimental. Meredith captioned the post with the words, "Carter only wears the outfits daddy picked out," and then went ahead to add an emoji that could say more than words ever would. The tribute in the wardrobe continued in the Instagram story, where Carter was seen dressed in a pale zip-up onesie and cuddled up next to older brother Johnny Jr. Meredith mentioned that this particular onesie had now become a very regular piece of Carter's wardrobe, connecting recent moments with past family memories. The flashback photo also revealed Johnny Gaudreau in another moment, one of several memories of him and Johnny Jr. ; in that particular one, Johnny Gaudreau was napping on a couch with baby Johnny Jr. snoozing on his chest — the same onesie that is now wrapping little Carter in comfort. Born on April 1, Carter Michael Gaudreau is the youngest of the three siblings. Meredith announced her pregnancy at the emotional memorial service for Johnny last September. Through these mini wardrobe stories, Meredith is painting an emotional timeline, meaning that fatherhood, legacy, and memory are kept alive in as tender and personal a way as possible. 4 Broncos players, 1 coach make ESPN's All Quarter Century team
ESPN recently compiled a list of players to headline their NFL All Quarter Century team. The list, which detailed the best NFL players since 2000, featured the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady and Priest Holmes (yes, he's ranked over Adrian Peterson and Ladainian Tomlinson, in which the former is on their practice squad.) Nevertheless, the good news is four Denver Broncos players and a former coach made the Quarter Century Team. Of course, Peyton Manning, Champ Bailey and DeMarcus Ware would come to mind. But Brian Dawkins, who spent a majority of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles, also spent three seasons with the Broncos for the latter part of his career and still notched two Pro Bowls (2009, 2011) and an All-Pro nod (2009). Lastly, Wade Phillips, the architect of the 'No Fly Zone' defense of the 2015 Super Bowl champions, was named as the defensive coordinator for the team. Phillips had stints as a head coach, but his time as a DC with the Broncos will have him immortalized, just like with this list. Check out the complete list here. Five Eagles Named To All-Quarter Century Team
Five Eagles Named To All-Quarter Century Team originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Since 2000, the Philadelphia Eagles have become one of the better rosters in the league. They have reached the Super Bowl four times, been to the conference championship game eight times, and won two titles. Advertisement Along the way, they have seen some of the league's biggest stars don the midnight green uniform. Five stars found their names on the Quarter Century Team made by ESPN Thursday afternoon. Right tackle Lane Johnson, center Jason Kelce, safety Brian Dawkins, and receivers Terrell Owens and Julio Jones were all named to the prestigious honor. Of the five names, Owens and Jones lasted less than two full seasons with the organization. Johnson, Kelce, and Dawkins are all-time fan favorites for the Eagles. Dawkins is a Hall-of-Fame safety and was a face of Philadelphia sports during the 2000s. His intensity brought a new flare to the organization. Kelce and Johnson, meanwhile, are two of the better offensive linemen in league history. Kelce was a former sixth-round steal out of Cincinnati. He became a starter right away and later an All-Pro. He's just the third member in Eagles history to be named an All-Pro six times. Advertisement As for Johnson, the former fourth overall pick has become one of the best right tackles in league history. His work as an athletic freak has allowed him to continue to be among the elite players in the game even into his 30s. All five Eagles have made their mark on NFL history. Although the majority of the players on the list are retired, making the All Quarter Century Team is a great honor. And it's another reminder of how good the Eagles have been recently. NFL All Quarter Century Team: Players from the NFC West
As we are in the dead of the offseason and there is almost nothing happening in the NFL until late July, now we get lists and rankings. ESPN put together an All Quarter Century Team for the NFL, constructing a 53-man roster with the best players of the last 25 years. The roster is sprinkled with a few of Arizona Cardinals players, some who played for Arizona at the end of their careers and others who were longtime Cardinals, as well as players who spent time with all of the teams in the NFC West. Who made the list? NFL All Quarter Century Team: Players from the NFC West Arizona Cardinals OL Alan Faneca DL Calais Campbell DL J.J. Watt CB Patrick Peterson Faneca barely counts as a Cardinal as he is famous for his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he played his final NFL season in Arizona as a starter. Campbell is an awesome addition because at no point in his career has he been considered a top-five defensive lineman. But his consistent production over nearly two decades earns him a spot. Peterson was dominant for his first eight seasons in Arizona. Watt was one of the best defenders we have seen. He spent the last two seasons of his career in Arizona and had 12.5 sacks in his last season in 2022. LA Rams DL Aaron Donald LB Bobby Wagner Donald is an obvious choice. Wagner also has been one of the best linebackers this generation, but he only played one season with the Rams. San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey FB Kyle Juszczyk WR Terrell Owens WR Randy Moss OT Trent Williams CB Richard Sherman OC Kyle Shanahan The 49ers have a ton of players on this list, although Moss only spent a season with them. Sherman's best came with Seattle. Seattle Seahawks OL Steve Hutchinson LB Bobby Wagner CB Richard Sherman All three players were generational.
