Dell, Alienware launch high-end flagship gaming desktop
Dell Technologies and Alienware have launched two new Alienware desktops, the Alienware Area-51 and Alienware Aurora in India. While the Alienware Area51 is the new flagship AI PC representing the pinnacle of gaming, the Alienware Aurora caters to a variety of gamer personas, featuring a purpose-built design that exudes premium quality and adaptability across diverse scenarios. Both desktops can be configured up to the Intel Core Ultra 9 K series CPUs and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, said Dell. Dell launches Alienware Area-51 and Aurora gaming desktops in India
Dell has launched two high-performance gaming desktops in India, the flagship Alienware Area-51 starting at Rs 5.09 lakh and the more accessible Aurora model at Rs 1.93 lakh. Both systems feature Intel Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40/50 series graphics cards, targeting India's growing premium gaming market. The Area-51 is Dell's most powerful gaming desktop, equipped with advanced thermal management that runs processors 13% cooler and operates 45% quieter than previous Alienware models. The system supports up to Intel Core Ultra 9 K-series CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs, delivering what Dell calls "interstellar performance" for demanding games like Alan Wake 2 and competitive esports titles. The Aurora model offers a more compact design, 55% smaller than the Area-51, while maintaining high-end specifications including up to 64GB of 6400MHz RAM and RTX 5080 graphics. Both desktops feature customizable components and tool-free upgrades through QR code-guided maintenance systems. The company positions the Area-51 for hardcore enthusiasts while the Aurora targets first-time premium buyers and competitive gamers. Dell has launched its new AI-powered Plus portfolio in India, featuring three Intel-powered laptops designed to deliver enhanced performance with integrated Copilot+ capabilities. The new lineup includes the Dell 14 Plus , Dell 14 2-in-1 Plus , and Dell 16 Plus , all powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processors. Prices start at Rs 96,899 for the Dell 14 2-in-1 Plus, Rs 1,08,499 for the Dell 16 Plus, and Rs 1,15,799 for the Dell 14 Plus.
