Minister Ponguleti distributes Indiramma house papers to beneficiaries at Kothagudem

Kothagudem: Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy presented Indiramma House sanction documents to beneficiaries from Lakshidevipalli, Sujatha Nagar, Palvancha and Chunchupalli mandals and house site pattas to SRT and Maya Bazaar residents here on Sunday. MP Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy, MLA Kunanneni Sambasiva Rao, district Collector Jitesh V Patil and others were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Ponguleti said giving Indiramma house sanction documents to girls on the first Ekadashi day is an auspicious occasion. He said, 'no girl child is disappointed that she did not get Indiramma house in this phase. We will give it to all the rest in the coming phases.' 'This government will not make speculative statements like the previous government with the blessings of the people. The Indiramma government has completed a year and a half,' the Minister said. In the first phase, Ponguleti informed, the government is giving 4.50 lakh houses across the state. Of this, the construction of two and a half lakh houses will be done gradually. In the future, there may be a village without a temple, but there will be no village without Indiramma houses. Every Monday, money will be deposited in the accounts of the beneficiaries of Indiramma houses, the Minister added. No one needs to give a single rupee in any form to a girl child. A total of Rs 5 lakh will be deposited in her account, Ponguleti promised. He explained the schemes of free buses for women, cooking gas for Rs 500, free rice through ration shops, Rajiv Arogya Sri hikes for 10 lakh, as the saying goes, with the aim of making the farmer a king, we have waived off loans worth Rs. 21,000 crore in ten months. Four days ago, in the name of Rythu Bharosa, Rs 9,000 crore was deposited in the accounts of every eligible farmer, he informed. Minister Ponguleti said the Indiramma government has been implementing many welfare schemes for the well-being of the people despite facing financial crunch. The number leaders and officials participated in the event.

Telangana Minister Vivek Venkataswamy highlights welfare initiatives by govt for the Poor

Minister Vivek Venkataswamy has reiterated the Congress government's commitment to the welfare of the underprivileged during a recent event in Siddipet. Speaking at Konda Bhudevi Garden, he announced the provision of Rs. 5 lakhs for every Indiramma house, with 12,000 houses sanctioned for Siddipet district alone. He emphasised the aim to ensure that every village benefits from the Indiramma housing scheme, initially launched by Indira Gandhi to combat poverty. The Minister noted that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Rahul Gandhi have enacted policies to provide 200 units of free electricity, further aiding the lower-income population. In a drive to uplift the poor, Minister Venkataswamy distributed sanction documents for Indiramma houses and confirmed plans for skill development programmes employing advanced technology in Siddipet. He acknowledged public scepticism regarding the Congress government's ability to fulfil its promises but pledged that the government would uphold its commitments. Highlighting other welfare initiatives, he detailed the assistance for women, including gas cylinders for Rs. 500 and free bus services. He mentioned the comprehensive loan waiver of Rs. 23,000 crores for farmers, a record in India, as well as the release of Rs. 10,000 crores for farmer insurance by CM Revanth Reddy. Furthermore, the Rajiv Arogya Sri scheme now offers up to Rs. 10 lakhs in health coverage, and farmers growing sorghum are receiving a bonus of Rs. 500. Additionally, Venkataswamy revealed that sorghum is being distributed to the needy through ration cards. The government is dedicated to constructing homes for every poor individual on plots of 600 yards. He stressed the importance of beneficiary participation in ensuring adequate construction of the houses, reiterating the strict implementation of the Indiramma scheme. Earlier, he had also distributed sanction documents to beneficiaries of Indiramma Indla in Gajwel, where a budget has been allocated for 3,000 double-bedroom houses. In his address, he reiterated the government's commitment to education, healthcare, housing, and farmer welfare.

Karimnagar: The IT and Industries Minister, D Sridhar Babu, said that the State government will extend full support to medical profession in Telangana. The minister was speaking at the 11th anniversary of the Telangana Hospitals and Nursing Homes Association (Tanacon-2025) on Sunday in Karimnagar. Sridhar Babu assured he would resolve the problems faced by hospitals and private nursing home owners, discuss with the Minister of Health amending the Hospitals Establishment Act, and establish a Medical Policy Corporation for effective decision-making. He said that the doctors are the frontline warriors of the State and are playing a major role in saving the lives of people. He said that under the Congress government, the expenditure for the Rajiv Arogya Sri scheme, established under the leadership of the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy, has been increased, and the Clinical Establishment Act was brought during his tenure. He said that 14 doctors have been elected to the Telangana Legislative Assembly and are working for the progression of doctors. He said that a meeting will be organised and action will be taken to solve the problems faced by private hospitals. He called upon doctors to take part in the Kaleshwaram Saraswati Pushkaram at Manthani. Dharmapuri MLA and Government Whip Adluri Laxman Kumar, Jagitial MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar, Manakondur MLA Dr Kavvam Pelli Satyanarayana, Korutla MLA Dr K Sanjay Kumar, Dr Palvai Harish Kumar, and Suda Chairman Komatireddy Narender Reddy were present on the day. On this occasion, TANACON organisation members felicitated the minister. TANACON organisation Chairman Dr Elagandula Srinivas and Telangana State President-elect Dr Arun Katari, IMA President E Naresh, and others were present in the programme.
