The Longest Shortest Time

Credit - After a five-year hiatus, the parenting podcast hosted by This American Life contributor and author Hillary Frank returned with the help of Realm in 2025. The archives, spanning 2010 to 2019, delve into essential topics like whether to get genetic testing before having a baby and interview listeners for some fantastic tales like the twisty series on 'The Accidental Gay Parents.' But a lot has changed in Frank's life and the world of parenting since the show took a break. Frank started the podcast because of her disappointment with her own birth experience, which ended in a three-year-long painful recovery (as outlined in the moving episode 'Rewriting Your Birth Story'). Now her daughter is a teen, and in her first episode back, Frank interviews her child about what she's learning in sex ed. (Spoiler alert: the curriculum is frustratingly focused on anatomy rather than on consent.) Frank says she wants to shine a light on reproductive health in the show's new iteration and tell stories that have to do with attacks on bodily autonomy, how technology is changing how babies are made, how we talk to kids about sex, and new research on periods and menopause. In early episodes, New York Times writer Amanda Hess expounds on her complicated relationship with period and pregnancy apps; YouTuber and avid pilot Xyla Foxlin talks about her battle with the FAA over her birth control; and Sara Reardon, known online as the Vagina Whisperer, answers listener questions about the pelvic floor. All the new episodes elucidate supposedly taboo topics, from receiving bad news on an ultrasound to how our mental health is impacted by hormonal birth control to healing after childbirth, with personal and thoughtful stories. Next ‘Guild Wars 2' Expansion ‘Visions Of Eternity' Launches This Year

Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity Today, ArenaNet revealed that the next major expansion coming for its flagship MMORPG, Guild Wars 2, is called Visions of Eternity and it's set to launch later this year on October 28, 2025 starting at $24.99 for the base version. There are a bunch more details in the announcement blog here. This big update is packed full of content. Reportedly, Visions of Eternity includes an all-new storyline set in an island realm called Castora, a new Homestead plot, upgrades and new abilities for the Skimmer mount, two brand-new explorable maps, six new legendary items including three weapons, a new elite specialization for all nine playable professions, and a year's worth of post-launch content support and updates. Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity The post-launch support for Visions of Eternity is planned for throughout 2026, which is really encouraging to see. Specifically, the plan is to break them up into three planned major future updates at no additional charge once you've already purchased Visions of Eternity. These updates are planned to include two more additional maps, new Raid Encounters, a new Convergence, new earnable rewards, storyline extensions, new gear, and much more. But as soon as the expansion launches this October, the first two new maps will become available on the island of Castora, adding tons of new areas to explore and activities to do. Personally, I haven't played Guild Wars 2 in several years but that's mostly due to the fact that I don't spend a lot of time playing PC games at my desk anymore. I've heard Guild Wars 2 runs well on Steam Deck and there are several recommended controller layouts to pick from, so I want to give it a whirl eventually. Other MMOs that have captured my attention in recent years include The Elder Scrolls Online and Throne and Liberty, but it's fantastic to see a long-running game like Guild Wars 2 continuing to push out meaningful and large new content updates. Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity When I was playing actively, it really consumed my life for a couple of years and I have nothing but positive memories and experiences from my time in Tyria. As an aside, I appreciate that their marketing emails I still receive address me by my character's name, instead of my real name. 'Visions of Eternity continues our commitment to major yearly content expansions,' said Josh Davis, Guild Wars 2 Game Director, in a press release. 'Over a decade into the game's life, we're making improvements and enhancements to game modes and systems, expanding the horizon of Guild Wars 2's gameplay. This expansion is offering up more elite specializations to further grow the possibilities for player customization and gameplay while becoming more seamlessly accessible across game modes and activities.' The base game for Guild Wars 2 is available for free to play up to max level with eight different character professions and tons of both PvE and PvP content, with no subscription fee.

How to unlock fast travel in RAIDOU Remastered The Mystery of the Soulless Army?

(Image via Sega) Explore dark, rain-slicked streets of RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is quite captivating, but trekking back and forth could slow up the detective work. Fortunately, the game offers a means to unlock fast travel. It, in turn, provides a convenient means to zip across varied locations early on, thereby transforming investigation and allowing you to focus only on solving mysteries with efficiency. Here is how you can access the feature and make your entire work smoother. How to unlock fast travel RAIDOU Remastered and use it? In RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, the fast travel option is not hidden. It becomes available in Chapter 1 after you visit Daidouji Mansion and continue following the story path. First, complete initial investigations, and then the Streetcar System will get triggered and unlocked, allowing you to move swiftly between the discovered areas. RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army — Launch Trailer To use the fast travel option, use the Express Streetcar network, open the menu by clicking the tab on the keyboard, or choose the menu button on the controller. Then, select Express Streetcar. It will bring up a map with some available locations. Before you choose, note that you will only be able to travel to the places (facilities, districts, or even Dark Realm sections) that you have already visited. So, your exploration will be the key here. Note that access to the network is straightforward, but it's available from Streetcar Station. Once you select it, the city map opens, and you will also get to choose between clearly marked Express Streetcar options. Select it, and it will present a complete list of all locations you previously discovered and can now travel to with ease. Manage travel costs and rewards in RAIDOU Remastered Traveling is not always free. So, budget up wisely. While initial rides cost nothing, fares start to quickly standardize. Expect to pay 80 Yen for every stop you travel between most of the locations. The costs soon start to add up, especially as you spend on demons or gears. Note : Keep an eye out for the shining objects present on the streetcar map. Moving the cursor over the spots would allow you to collect free consumables, valuables, or some redeemable items, thereby making detours worthwhile. Plan trips for conserving funds. At times, short hops or some specific routes might be free. But to rely on the streetcar quite frequently, you are required to keep some spare Yen handy. Just avoid getting stranded and maintain travel funds separately from the other expenses. New fast travels would start to unlock with your progress. The more areas you cover, the more shortcuts will open up, too. Just remember, explore first, and travel fast. Also, do not forget to watch out for your wallet. Game On Season 1 kicks off with Sakshi Malik's inspiring story. Watch Episode 1 here

This Temple Near KLCC Gives Out Free Vegetarian Lunch Twice A Week – And It's Delicious

Subscribe to our FREE Tucked just a short stroll away from the bustling Suria KLCC shopping mall, amidst the city's concrete towers and honking traffic, lies a serene oasis serving more than just spiritual peace. The Dharma Realm Guan Yin Monastery in Kuala Lumpur is quietly drawing crowds – not just for prayers, but for lunch. Every Friday and Sunday, from 11am to 2pm, the temple's canteen offers free vegetarian meals to anyone who walks in. Yes, free – no questions asked, no strings attached. All they ask is for diners to help themselves, and clean up after. Image: TRP The setup is simple and humble: long, stainless steel tables and benches that feel more school canteen than fancy food court – but that doesn't stop the lunchtime throng. Office workers, curious tourists, and even regular KL-ites queue up for a taste of something rare in this city – a meal that's wholesome, meatless, and costs absolutely nothing on certain days. The food? Surprisingly varied and flavourful. It's a buffet-style spread featuring dishes like stir-fried cabbage, bok choy, okra, and other seasonal greens – all cooked in light, healthy styles. Standouts include the temple's vegetarian char siew (so convincing it might fool a few meat lovers), curry vegetables, and even savoury marmite potatoes. And unlike your typical mamak restaurant, everything is cooked with less oil and salt, in line with the monastery's philosophy of mindful and healthy eating. Image: TRP On regular days (when meals aren't free), you can still eat here for a very wallet-friendly RM9 to RM11, depending on what ends up on your plate – still cheaper than most food courts or hawker stalls in the area. It's also fully self-service, so don't expect waiters or table numbers. Grab a plate, help yourself, enjoy your meal, and remember to clear your table afterward. Bins are provided for leftover food, and volunteers handle the washing up – a small but important act of communal respect. Image: TRP Image: TRP While many may stumble upon the canteen through word of mouth or a friend's recommendation, the Dharma Realm Guan Yin Monastery has long been a spiritual pillar in the city. Established in the Image: So if you're in the city on a Friday or Sunday and feel like skipping the KLCC food court crowd, swing by this spot instead. Share your thoughts with us via TRP's .
