Realme launches a second C71 version in Europe

The Realme C71, introduced in Asia earlier this month, has arrived in Europe. However, the European model doesn't share all the specs with its Asian counterpart. For starters, the Asian C71 packs a 6,300 mAh battery, while the European C71 comes with a 6,000 mAh cell under the hood. Fortunately, the charging speed remains the same, meaning the Realme C71's European version will also charge at a rate of up to 45W. Besides, it can be used to charge other devices, thanks to 6W reverse wired charging support. Another difference between the two models is that the Asian C71 comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, whereas the European C71 has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage onboard. Realme C71 The rest of the features remain the same, so you get the European C71 with the Unisoc T250 SoC, a 6.67" 120Hz HD+ LCD, Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone sports a 5MP camera on the front and a 50MP primary camera on the rear, accompanied by an LED ring light for notifications and charging status. Additionally, the handset comes with MIL-STD-810H certification, making it drop-resistant up to 1.5m. This model of the Realme C71 comes in Forest Owl and White Swan colors and is available for purchase in Bulgaria through retailer Technopolis at a promotional price of BGN299 ($180/€150/INR15,310).

Realme C71 launches with 6,300 mAh battery

It's been a high-growth day for Realme's affordable C series today. Following the launch of the C73 earlier, the brand has now also made the C71 official - seemingly in Vietnam first, but undoubtedly other markets will follow. The C71 comes with a 6.67-inch 720x1604 LCD screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 725-nit peak brightness, the Unisoc T7250 chipset at the helm, 4/6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 6,300 mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC fast wired charging. Realme C71 official images On the back there's a 50 MP "AI Camera", while for selfies you get a 5 MP snapper. The device is 4G-only, and comes with NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a single "ultra-high volume" speaker, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and it runs Android 15 with Realme UI on top. It measures 165.8 x 75.9 x 7.79 mm and weighs 196g. It's MIL-STD-810H certified to withstand drops from up to 1.5m. Its recommended retail price seems to be VND 3,990,000, which is about $153, but some retailers have a launch promo going on it which has taken that down to VND 3,790,000 or $145. Thanks for the tip!

Realme C71 surfaces in benchmark and certifications

Realme is working on the low-end C71 to succeed the C61 launched last summer. The C71 has been spotted in the Geekbench online database with the model number RMX5303. It's powered by the Unisoc T7250 SoC, formerly known as the Unisoc T615. This is a 4G-only chip, so don't expect the C71 to bring 5G to the table. Then again, the C61 didn't have it either. The C71 has 6GB of RAM, which its predecessor also offered. It will run Android 15 when it launches, with Realme UI on top. The C71 has also been certified for sale in Malaysia by SIRIM, which confirms its aforementioned model number. A previous certification revealed its 45W wired charging support. Unfortunately, no other specs are known at this time. Overall, we expect it to be a minor upgrade over the C61 while playing in the same pricing ballpark. We'll let you know when we find out more about it. Realme C61 Via
