Al-Ahly defeats Al-Masry in Egyptian Premier League
Cairo - Saba: Al-Ahly defeated its host, Al-Masry of Port Said, 4-2 in the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League championship. Al-Ahly star Imam Ashour scored the first and fourth goals for the Red Castle in the 35th and 79th minutes from a penalty kick, while his fellow strikers, Palestinian Wissam Abu Ali and Egyptian Taher Mohamed Taher, scored the other two goals in the 45th and 58th minutes, respectively. Rulani: Maybe Wydad deserve a better coach than me
Wydad head coach Rulani Mokwena was left disappointed after his charges played to a 1-1 draw with Olympic Safi on Wednesday. He further said Wydad are the only Moroccan team he will ever coach, declaring his love for the club. However, he feels perhaps Wydad deserve a better coach than him at this point in time. Ben Sharqi at Al-Ahly's doorstep and a final step before announcing the deal
Al-Ahly club officials asked Moroccan Ashraf Ben Sharqi, Al-Rayyan player, to end his relationship with his club in order to officially announce his transfer to the Red Castle during the current winter transfer period.
