Al-Ahly defeats Al-Masry in Egyptian Premier League

Al-Ahly defeated its host, Al-Masry of Port Said, 4-2 in the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League championship.
Al-Ahly star Imam Ashour scored the first and fourth goals for the Red Castle in the 35th and 79th minutes from a penalty kick, while his fellow strikers, Palestinian Wissam Abu Ali and Egyptian Taher Mohamed Taher, scored the other two goals in the 45th and 58th minutes, respectively.

She added, "However, the announced figures are not final due to missing persons still under the rubble and the difficulty of accessing all affected areas because of Israeli bombardment and the blockade imposed on the Strip." Regarding damaged sports facilities, the Vice President of the Palestinian Football Association said, "The Israeli aggression has led to the total or partial destruction of 288 sports facilities, including 21 in the occupied West Bank, encompassing stadiums, sports halls, and club facilities." Al-Shalabi called for "an end to the deliberate Israeli targeting of Palestinian sports and the protection of athletes and facilities in the West Bank and Gaza." With American and European support, the Israeli occupation army has continued to commit genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 56,531 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and injuring 133,642 others as of Monday. The toll is not final, as thousands of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, unreachable by rescue teams. Palestinian football star donates World Cup earnings to Gaza
Cairo – Saba: Palestinian footballer Wessam Abou Ali, the star player of Egypt's Al-Ahly Club, announced on Monday that he would donate his entire financial earnings from participating in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup to support Gaza. According to the Palestinian news agency Sannad, the Palestinian national team striker has allocated his tournament bonus—estimated at 25 million Egyptian pounds—to humanitarian and relief efforts in Gaza, which has endured over 21 months of genocide and starvation. Abou Ali gained global attention during his participation with Al-Ahly in the 2025 Club World Cup, currently being held in the United States, after scoring a hat-trick against Portugal's FC Porto. State Sports Championship concludes in Sanhan & New Sana'a Districts
Sana'a - Saba: The football championship organized by the Youth and Sports Office and the Youth Mobilization Unit in Sana'a Province concluded on Saturday, marking the occasion of Wilayah Day 1446 AH. The two-week tournament featured 16 teams from the junior and youth categories across the Sanhan and New Sana'a districts. In the final matches, which followed a round-robin group stage format, Al-Qaidha team (New Sana'a) defeated Al-Rasoul Al-Azam (Sanhan) 5-2 in the junior category. Meanwhile, in the youth category, the Central Areas team (Sanhan) secured a 3-2 victory over Al-Qaidha (New Sana'a). Abdulmohsen Al-Sharif, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the province, stated that further sporting events will follow, including the Imam Hussein Football Championship, a marathon, volleyball competitions, and other activities aimed at enhancing the physical and cultural development of youth.
