Since then, every reigning monarch has upheld this tradition. The Regatta has also welcomed numerous royal visitors over the years, including the Princess Royal in 2010. Style is a key part of the experience, with two main enclosures offering differing dress codes. In the exclusive Stewards' Enclosure, a formal dress code is in place: women are expected to wear dresses or skirts below the knee, tailored jackets with trousers or trouser suits. While not mandatory, hats are typically worn. The Regatta Enclosure offers a more relaxed atmosphere, where attendees often embrace classic nautical looks, summer tailoring and elegant dresses.
