The Range is selling a cute £3.99 miniature of viral tree for your garden – and shoppers say it's their favourite

WITH only weeks to go until summer officially arrives, homeowners are racing to get their gardens ready for the sizzling sunshine. And if your outdoor space is still looking a little drab, The Range has got just the thing for you to add a pop of colour. 1 Gardening fans are loving the new miniature flamingo trees in The Range Credit: The Range/Instagram The Salix Flamingo tree was a viral gardening buy last year and has already been spotted again in shops ahead of summer. But bosses at The Range last week revealed they've added a miniature version to their outdoor section too - and it's only £3.99. With their feathery and bright pink plumage, these mini trees can easily add a bold pop of colour in your garden with minimal effort. If you aren't green-fingered, you can still have these plants in your outdoor space as they require minimal pruning, once in the summer and winter, and should flower every spring. They also grow in well-drained soil and full-dappled sunlight. But don't just take our word for it. The Salix Flamingo tree has even been given the prestigious Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society. And according to Gardeners' World, the flamingo tree looks delicate but is "completely hardy in the UK". Posting the new arrival on Instagram, the team at The Range said: "It's FLAMINGO TIME! "That's right — last year's SELL-OUT 60cm Salix Flamingo Trees are BACK in stock & at the UNBEATABLE price of £14.99 each or 2 for £20!! "And LOOK at this year's mini version — just £3.99 each or 3 for £10! I made a DIY fence for £68 with pallets from Facebook Marketplace - it gives more privacy & people say it's 'fantastic' "Flock to stores before these fly away!" The bargain buy, which features a stunning bright pink plumage, has sent gardening fans into a frenzy, with many saying they're the perfect way to inject a pop of colour into your outdoor haven with minimal effort. And shoppers are racing to their nearest The Range store in a bid to track down the miniature tree. One person joked: "Omg my sat nav has accidentally on purpose redirected itself to the range… I might as well stop and get a few now." "These are my favourite", cried a second. A third echoed: "Ooooh mini ones look sooo cute !!" "I better get to the range quick", chimed in a fourth. A fifth said: "Ooooo the mini one", accompanied by the heart eye emoji. Meanwhile, a sixth wrote: "Oh I definitely need one this year!!!!"
