Dulquer Salmaan met Telangana CM Revanth Reddy to thank him for the Jury Award at the Gaddar Telangana State Film Awards. He praised the CM's hospitality. Dulquer Salmaan recently met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad to extend his personal thanks after being honoured at the Gaddar Telangana State Film Awards. Salmaan, who received the Jury Award for his performance in Lucky Baskhar, was unable to attend the ceremony as he was abroad at the time. To make up for it, he visited the CM in person and later shared a note of appreciation online. Sharing moments from their interaction on social media, Dulquer praised the Chief Minister's hospitality and spoke warmly about their conversation. 'Had a very memorable morning, meeting with the honourable Telangana Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy Garu, who was the most gracious of hosts. I wanted to thank him personally for the Gaddar State Film Awards, which I was unable to attend as I was out of the country," the actor wrote in his caption. He added, 'It was extremely kind of him to spend this much time with us chatting about Cinema, especially the Telugu and Malayalam industries, and about his love for our various states and languages." The Sita Ramam actor was officially cast in the film along with Ravi Mohan and Gautham Karthik. As per reports, all three of them opted out of Thug Life in March last year apparently due to scheduling issues and production delays. But then, social media users believed that Salmaan lost the chance to work with great icons of the film industry, including Kamal Haasan, Nassar and Mani Ratnam. Things became more clear after the movie's release when Thug Life, co-written by the director and the lead actor, wasn't able to strike a chord with many viewers, who expected the movie to be a powerful cinematic experience.
