We've said it before, and we'll say it again: collab drops are always among the most exciting products to get a hold of, not only for the exclusivity of having them, but also for their unconventional creativity and design. You never know what to expect when two great minds or companies join together – and these pairs exceed all expectations! SOAR x Altra Trail Gear Collection Altra and SOAR, two titans of the running world, recently came together to create a new collection. Thanks to SOAR's love of high-performance clothing and Altra's knowledge of footwear, the two have put together a comprehensive trail racing system that maximises performance capabilities. Reportedly 'engineered for speed, protection, comfort, and control,' this line was tested by top athletes and features race-day equipment that can withstand the heat, long distances, and rough terrain. The pair's interpretation of the Mont Blanc Carbon is the capsule's focal point. A sole unit that combines a full-length carbon plate for propulsion with a dual-density midsole and Vibram outsole is one of the many features that make these trail shoes race-ready. Its vibrant 'Prism' style complements the clothing by fusing white with a range of hues and acknowledging the two through co-branding. The Trail Race Top, a featherlight top with UPF 50 protection at the shoulders and upper arms, is the first piece of the rest of the racing system. Additionally, it has ultralight mesh at the torso and panels that are resistant to abrasion. The coordinating lightweight cap complements this. The pair's Trail Race Shorts, which are made using RHEON, a reactive superpolymer created using NASA technology, complete the collection. In response to running's impact, it stiffens to absorb energy and then relaxes for comfort. Integrated storage and a waistband-free design highlight comfort. Ama x Salomon XT-Whisper Void By consistently reinventing the silhouette and growing its universe through innovative new partnerships and colourways, Salomon's XT-Whisper continues to be a top choice for the footwear brand. In a collaboration with her creative agency, I Came Home Late Studios, British singer-songwriter Ama has joined forces with Salomon to offer the Ama x Salomon XT-Whisper Void. The redesigned Whisper comes in a whimsical colourway of Vanilla Ice, Fusion Coral, and Emberglow. Each colour design has a deeper meaning that is inspired by the sea and the bravery of Japanese 'Ama' divers, who have been plunging into the ocean for centuries to collect pearls. Seaweed green appropriately honours the greenery that resides beneath the undercurrents, coral orange symbolises 'a flash of life—vivid, raw, and the same shade that warms the gloves of the divers,' and white speaks to the 'treasure sought in silence.' In terms of functionality, the new collaborative Whisper Void has an Agile Chassis system that guarantees stability, support, and grip in addition to the traditional Sensifi™ and Quicklace precision fit. 'Number one (reason to wear Salomon) is functionality, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you're a fashion girl, there's nothing more annoying than having shoes that don't feel good,' Ama explained in a press statement. She further discussed her personal affinity for the brand, as it served as the core footing for the collaborative venture. The Ama x Salomon XT-Whisper Void is available now at Salomon's official and other websites. The pair is retailing for US$170 (~RM719).

JJJJound Teases Salomon XT-6 Collaboration
Summary When it comes to footwear collaborations, few can compare toJJJJound, especially when considering quantity and diversity. The Montréal-based label has already worked withNew Balance,adidas,Plasticana,Padmore & Barnes,OTW by Vans,ASICS, andPUMAthis year. Adding to its output, JJJJound has just teased a new project withSalomon. It's been over two years since JJJJound first worked with Salomon, presenting a white and blue take on theXT-Wings 2. Now, the duo has reunited for a second project, teasing a collaborative colorway of theXT-6. The model, which dominated for Salomon at the start of the decade, has been prepared in gray, black, and red. Its quicklace system is present and has been placed atop a co-branded tongue. Another nod to JJJJound comes courtesy of the heel, which features the wordmarks of each brand in red. At the time of writing, neither JJJJound nor Salomon have shared when their collaborative take on the XT-6 will be releasing. Stay tuned for updates, including a complete look at this black and gray colorway from the duo, as the shoe is confirmed to be dropping this year based on JJJJound's 'JJJJ SALOMON 2025' caption. I'm Shocked - My Favourite Salomon Trainers Are Now In The Amazon Prime Day Sale
There aren't many things EmRata and I have in common, but there's one thing I'm certain of - we have the same taste in trainers. EmRata is a big trainer fan (as am I) and has been spotted wearing pretty much every go-to brand, whether that be Puma's Speedcat trainers or the New Balance 574s. But, there's one brand in particular that we both come back to time and time again - Salomon. No longer reserved for those with a penchant for Gore-Tex or off-duty hikers in the Dolomites, Gen Z has taken Salomon trainers and thrust them into something far cooler in the increasingly aestheticised world of outdoorsy or 'crunchy' fashion. EmRata often opts for the XT-6 Skylines - a sleek Salomon trainer that can either be styled with a pair of cargo trousers, or, the EmRata way, with a sheer dress. Salomon's trainers always hit the sweet spot of versatility, they're made for the urban-trekker - and by that I mean they suggest that either a) you're about to summit a minor peak, or b) you're off out to grab a flat white in East London. Bella Hadid is in on the action too, spotted back in 2021 (and many times since) wearing a pair of bright red XT-4 Salomons. My Salomon of choice is the Ultra Pioneer. Somewhat easier to track down compared to the cult favourite XT-6s, but not overdone, the Ultra Pioneer shoe is a great one to have in your casual wardrobe, whether you're planning on hiking with them or not. The shoes have carried me through my 10,000-steps-a-day personal challenge and a 15-mile hike without any discomfort whatsoever - and not to sound dramatic, but I might never go back to anything unless (unless Salomon brings out a loafer, then, yes, I'm very likely to invest). In terms of sizing, I'm usually a UK 4.5 in most shoes, or if the brand doesn't offer middling sizes, I'll opt for a 5. In my Salomons, I went with a 5 and the trainers fit perfectly - roomy (but not too roomy) in the toe box and snug (but not so snug that it causes blisters) in the rest of the foot. Yes, the EmRata-approved, Bella Hadid-approved and Grazia -approved trainers are currently on sale - so if you've been eyeing them up for a while, dwell no longer - now's the moment to invest. Salomon, Ultra Pioneer Gore-Tex Outdoor Shoes Salomon describes its Ultra Pioneer shoes as a 'versatile hiking shoe', meaning it's made for climbs and everyday adventures (even if that's your morning coffee run). Available in a gorgeous grey and sage green colourway, style with wide leg trousers and a boxy tee. Salomon, Women's Speedcross Trail Running Shoe The Speedcross shoe is another popular Salomon design, purely for the fact that it's a legendary trail shoe with unmatched grip and fit. The fit inside features a cradle for your heel and welded upper, and it also comes in a pretty sweet pink colourway. Salomon, Women's X Ultra 360 Leather Walking Shoe If you're on the hunt for a trainer that can also double up as a walking shoe, Salomon offers the perfect pair - complete with an advanced chassis, moulded toe cap and waterproof membrane. Its muted colourway also makes it perfect for pairing with jeans and maxi skirts. Salomon, Unisex XA Pro V8 Waterproof Shoes Although advertised as children's, I can personally vouch for these Salomons as I have these myself. The sizes go all the way up to a UK 13.5 and are perfect for those with a slightly narrower-than-average foot. Salomon, Women's Reelax Slide If you want to invest in a Salomon, but you're not a trainer fan, the brand also does a sandal that's perfect for summer (and is also in the Prime Day sale). The vanilla ice shade is our favourite, and can be styled as well with midi dresses and satin skirts, as it can be with trousers.
