Sam Hunt is a dad again

Sam Hunt and Hannah Lee Fowler have become parents for the third time. The Hard to Forget hitmaker and his wife quietly welcomed son Weyman Allen Hunt - a brother for Lucy, three, and two-year-old Lowry - into the world on May 21, and the 40-year-old singer admitted the newborn is already very different to his older sisters. He told Taste of Country: 'They're good. A little sleep deprived. Our most recent child got here in May, so he's finally starting to sleep a little better. 'We got spoiled with the first two. They were fairly easy. But Weyman, my third one, he likes to beat to his own drum, I guess you could say.' Although the couple announced the births of their daughters on their own social media accounts, this time around the happy news went largely unnoticed because the couple teamed up with Cedartown First Methodist Church to reveal Weyman had been born. A post on the church's Facebook page on 27 May read: "It's a Boy! "Hannah + Sam Hunt announce the birth of their son, Weyman Allen Hunt, born May 21st, weighing 8lbs 6oz, and 20 1/2 in. long. The proud grandparents are Joan + Allen Hunt. "Congratulations to the entire Hunt Family!(sic) The Body Like a Back Road singer admitted in November that he was keen to take a break from touring when his kids are a little bit older and will be unable to join him on the road because of school commitments. He told Audacy's Katie and Company podcast: 'I'm hopefully, in the next couple years, going to take a break from touring. 'The crowds have been so great and I want to get out there and tour while my kids are really young and they're able to come with me. And while people are interested in coming to see us because I don't want to take that for granted.' Back in February 2022, Hannah filed for divorce and accused the Take Your Time singer of "inappropriate marital" behaviour and adultery. She declared Sam was "guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment or conduct toward the spouse as renders cohabitation unsafe or improper'. She added: "All hopes of reconciliation are exhausted.' But she sparked confusion as she withdrew the petition just hours later, only to refile in a different county in Tennessee after getting the jurisdiction wrong. Two months later, Hannah asked the court to dismiss the case and Sam was spotted wearing his wedding ring again.

BREAKING NEWS Country star Sam Hunt and wife secretly welcome third child as they reveal VERY unusual name

Sam Hunt and his wife Hannah Lee Fowler secretly welcomed their third child on May 21, and they gave the baby boy a very unusual name. It was Cedartown First Methodist Church who first spilled the beans with a Facebook post announcing the 40-year-old country crooner and the 39-year-old registered nurse had welcomed son Weyman Allen Hunt. The unique name Weyman is reportedly of Anglo-Saxon origin and derived from the Old English moniker Wigmund, which means 'man of war' or 'warrior' or 'battle man.' Sam gave his newborn infant - measuring 20.5in long and weighing 8lbs 6oz - the middle name Allen, which was most likely a loving tribute to his own father Allen Hunt. It was Cedartown First Methodist Church who first spilled the beans with a Facebook post announcing the 40-year-old country crooner and the 39-year-old registered nurse had welcomed son Weyman Allen Hunt Hunt and Fowler are thrilled to add a baby sibling for their 20-month-old son Lowry Lee and three-year-old daughter Lucy Louise. 'They're good,' the five-time Grammy nominee told Taste of Country on Monday. 'A little sleep deprived. Our most recent child got here in May, so he's finally starting to sleep a little better.' Sam continued: 'We got spoiled with the first two — they were fairly easy — but Weyman, my third one, Weyman's his name, he likes to beat to his own drum, I guess you could say.' Hannah and Hunt are putting on a strong united front after she called off their divorce in 2022 after accusing him of 'adultery as well as cruel and inhuman treatment.' The married couple of eight years' on/off romance dates back to 2008 when the Georgia native was just a quarterback for the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Sam penned much of his 2014 debut studio album Montevallo as well as his 2020 track Drinkin' Too Much about Fowler and their rocky relationship. The Liberty singer is next scheduled to bring his 18-date Summer Tour to the Lallycooler Music Festival in Sioux Falls, SD this Friday (pictured June 27) On January 20, Hunt was arrested for speeding (85mph in a 70mph zone) and violating an interlock device (car breathalyzer) on Interstate 40 in Henderson County, TN - according to TMZ. The Liberty singer's arrest would have violated his probation stemming from a 2019 DUI arrest, but his savvy lawyer successfully argued it down to a simple speeding ticket. Sam - who gets 7.7M monthly listeners on Spotify - is next scheduled to bring his 18-date Summer Tour to the Lallycooler Music Festival in Sioux Falls, SD this Friday.

Sam Hunt and wife welcome third baby

Country singer Sam Hunt has welcomed his third baby, a son named Weyman Allen Hunt, with his wife Hannah. During an interview with Taste of Country, the musician gave an update on how his family is adjusting to the little one, who is now a few weeks old. "They're good," the Body Like a Back Road singer told the outlet. "A little sleep deprived." "We got spoiled with the first two - they were fairly easy - but Weyman likes to beat to his own drum, I guess you could say," Hunt added. The new addition joins daughter Lucy Louise, three, and son, Lowry Lee, 21 months. Hunt announced he and Fowler were expecting his third baby back in November, sharing the news on Audacy's Katie & Company podcast. "It's about to get real," he said at the time. "I'm elated, can't wait!" Hunt and Fowler married in 2017 after a long-term relationship. In 2022, Fowler submitted documents in a Tennessee court to end her marriage to the country music star, claiming that Hunt had been "guilty of inappropriate marital conduct" and "guilty of adultery". She was pregnant with their first child at the time. She withdrew the petition a few hours after filing it.
