Government's goal is to achieve ‘zero poverty' by 2047, says Minister
The State government has taken up development plans and vision documents to the district and Assembly Constituency level for the first time ever, said Minister for Revenue, Registration and Stamps Anagani Satya Prasad.
The Minister participated in the District Vision Action Plan Unit (DVAPU) and P4 meeting conducted as part of the Swarnandhra Vision 2047 here on Monday. He said that the State government's goal was to achieve 'zero poverty' by the year 2047.
Appealing to the respective MLAs to pay special attention to the constituency development plans, the Minister urged them to harness the opportunities provided by the industry, services,agriculture, horticulture and allied sectors.
'We are meeting every family through the 'Suparipalanalo tholi adugu' to get feedback from the public. In 2018, it was the TDP government that reached out to the mango farmers when they were in distress. Even today, we are paying a subsidy of ₹4 per kg to Totapuri growers'.
He also participated in the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS), received complaints and requests from the public and assured them the issues would be resolved on time. Later, he participated in a party meeting at Satyavedu, where Sankar Reddy was introduced as the party coordinator.
Mr. Satya Prasad appealed to the party workers to take 'Party First' as their slogan and work for the party's growth at the grassroot level.
