See Photos of Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Husband Brad Hall as the Couple Celebrates Their 38th Wedding Anniversary

Julia Louis-Dreyfus first met husband Brad Hall at Northwestern University back in the '80s and the rest was history. The pair, who performed together while in college, would later take their talents to Saturday Night Live and beyond. They got married on June 25, 1987 and welcomed their first son Henry Hall on June 30, 1992. Five years later, they grew their family as their second boy, Charles Hall, joined the family. Over the years, the couple has also collaborated on a few projects, including SNL, an early-2000s comedy titled Watching Ellie and a 2012 short film called Picture Paris. 'He always appreciates the hard work but sometimes he'll say… we are honest with one another so that if he doesn't think it quite works or something, he'll tell me why. And I'll do the same with his work,' Louis-Dreyfus revealed while on Live with Kelly and Mark back in 2023. As the couple celebrates 38 years of marriage, look back at some of their sweetest pictures below. Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Brad Hall met when they were both students at Northwestern University back in the '80s, when Louis-Dreyfus auditioned for a performance Hall was producing with his comedy troupe, the Practical Theatre Company. She would go on to join and perform with the Company before four of its members — herself and Hall included — would be recruited by Saturday Night Live. The couple got married on June 25, 1987, in a church in Santa Barbara, California. Thirty-five years into their nuptials, Louis-Dreyfus revealed to Kelly Ripa that she "fashioned" her timeless wedding dress after Princess Diana's. Louis-Dreyfus and her husband stepped out for a stylish night at the Academy Theater in Beverly Hills back in 1994. In February 1997, Louis-Dreyfus proudly showed of her baby bump as the happy couple walked the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet together. They would later welcome their second son, Charles "Charlie" Hall, in May that year. Their first son, Henry Hall, joined their family five years earlier in 1992. The couple looked exquisite in their finest black tie attire at the Angle House Cleaning 2000 Democratic Fundraiser Gala at the Beverly Hilton. Louis-Dreyfus was all smiles in her man's arms as they attended the 12th Annual Environmental Media Awards in 2002. "31,000 years ago today, I married my current boyfriend," Louis-Dreyfus wrote under this sweet throwback posted in 2018. No relationship works without a little adventure and exploration. It appears the couple went scuba diving in this throwback Louis-Dreyfus shared for their 33rd anniversary. Hall, along with sons Henry and Charlie, smiled with pride as Louis-Dreyfus was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010. With nearly 40 years under their belt, of course, Hall has been there for all of his wife's biggest milestones. The SNL alumni posed together during the 58th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, where Louis-Dreyfus won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in The New Adventures of Old Christine. And when she walked away a double winner in 2015, Hall was right by her side, beaming from ear to ear. Louis-Dreyfus was awarded a trophy as producer for Outstanding Comedy Series and then for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Brad Hall joined his parents at the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards held at Nokia in 2012. The entire family stepped out to support their queen at the 71st Emmy Awards in 2019, where she was up for two trophies for her work on Veep. The Seinfeld actress had the full support of her boys at the special screening for her film Tuesday last June. Nearly four decades of marriage later, the two graced the red carpet for the SNL50: The Anniversary Special at 30 Rock earlier this year in New York. The lovebirds looked blissful in this selfie taken in the ocean. "34 years in, keeping our head above water. Love and love to the love of my life," she wrote. Read the original article on People

How Timothée Chalamet Popularized the ‘Old Money Haircut' for Men With a Modern Spin on Timeless Elegance

Long gone are the days of the Justin Bieber flow and all its side part glory. Now, a new style has been instated for men, one with just as much attitude but a lot more dimension. According to Fresha, Google search for 'old money haircut' saw a 122 percent increase in the last year and 5,000 search queries just this month, and it's all thanks to Timothée Chalamet, who famously chopped his mane over a year ago for his role as Bob Dylan in the 2024 biopic, 'A Complete Unknown.' Since then, the 29-year-old actor has kept his hair clipped in short, shaggy layers. The style can only be described as a quiff with little to no hair sticking out from the sides. Chalamet, for the most part, has stayed true to this mold. However, he's also taken a more 'rough around the edges' approach, spiking little pieces on top of his head and flattening his bangs on his forehead like a brooding indie rocker. Othertimes, he's morphed into a James Dean doppelganger, combing his mane all the way back. Chalamet's longtime hairstylist Jamie Taylor, whose client list includes Patrick Schwarzenegger and Sebastian Stan, is responsible for the upkeep of his pompadour for major events and awards season appearances. Taylor notably groomed the 'Wonka' star on the night he received the David Award for Cinematic Excellence in Italy this past May, which also happened to be the same night he made his relationship with Kylie Jenner red carpet official. The hair architect was also behind Chalamet's soft curls for his Bleu de Chanel campaign images, the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Oscars. The search interest in 'old money haircuts' comes after Chalamet was seen sitting courtside with the 'do at almost every New York Knicks game in May. The rising trend is also uniquely coinciding with diminishing interest in the 'rat boy' aesthetic, as popularized by girls on TikTok last summer. At its height, the term was used to describe male stars who were thought to have an unconventional, rodent-like look such as Matty Healy, Mike Faist, Harris Dickinson and Chalamet. In January, WWD reported seeing several quirky hairstyles during the men's fall 2025 presentations in Milan and Paris. Punk-inspired hairdos were spotted storming runways at Magliano and JordanLuca, while hair artist Ilham Mestour seemingly imagined a world in which men walk the streets looking like Albert Einstein for the Feng Chen Wang presentation. Bridgerton star describes horrific 'life and death' moment she fought off thief

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Bridgerton actress Genevieve Chenneour has shared insight into her horrific experience as she bravely defended herself from a prolific thief. The 27-year-old star's real-life drama was thoroughly modern as she fought off a phone thief in Joe & the Juice. Chenneour, who plays Clara Livingston in Netflix's beloved show, revealed on This Morning the moment which turned into a 'life and death' situation. She shared: 'I had a bit of a sixth sense that something wasn't quite right, as woman you have that kind of intuition, and I could feel people moving around me in a different way but I only became aware of it once the incident had happened.' Chenneour was waiting for her order at the chain cafe on Kensington High Street, London when the thief, who the Daily Mail identified as Zacariah Boulares, 18, quietly snuck up behind her and grabbed her phone, which was placed on the counter. Immediately, the actress sprang into action as she spun around and grabbed his arm while another man came to her aid. 'I did feel they were going back and forth trying to find a target, so they chose me,' she explained CCTV footage showed her freeing her phone from his grasp as she pushed him to the ground and fought back against the hooded criminal. 'I don't know if I would advise anybody else to do it,' Chenneour warned. 'I think I have very quick reactions, thanks to having three brothers growing up and I'm an aviated carded boxer. 'I think it just was an instinct, I also do a lot of fight training for work and acting… I thought that was a normal reaction and I read all the comments [from the CCTV footage] and realised, actually a lot of people would just let them take the phone.' At one point another man threatened to stab Chenneour, turning the incident into 'a real matter' which was 'life and death'. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video She continued: 'So, I did things like, I remember kicking him back with my leg to create space in case he had a weapon on him… It was just a life changing, crazy moment.' In court on May 29, Boulares pleaded guilty to stealing her phone as well as assaulting another customer. The actress previously told the Mail: 'They didn't expect me to stand up for myself – but I did.' 'I was left with a concussion just before the Screen Actors Guild Awards and since then, I've felt constantly on edge,' she shared. 'Even my dog was traumatised – now, if anyone touches me, he panics and tries to protect me. Getting a coffee shouldn't be something you need your wits about you for.' Chenneour added that she was thankful to the staff in store who were 'incredible' during the incident, and she has returned to see since. She retrained as an actress after winning an Olympic scholarship to train for Team GB's artistic swimming team at the age of 15. Unfortunately, an injury prevented her from going pro but after being a stunt double for underwater scenes in Gateway To The West she landed a role on Bridgerton. Boulares reportedly also threatened Aled Jones with a machete 18 months prior, as he stole the star's £17,000 Rolex watch while in West London. He was jailed for 14 months in a young offenders centre after the incident in October 2023, getting released 10 months early. At the hearing regarding Chenneour's case, he also admitted to stealing a handbag at a pizza restaurant in London's West End in January this year. In a message on her Instagram, the Bridgerton debutante thanked fans for their support after the attack. 'I'm okay and incredibly grateful he won't be able to harm anyone else,' she said. 'I am, however, finding it difficult to feel safe going out – especially after being repeatedly threatened with being stabbed in the face.' This second man has been released due to a lack of evidence and won't be going to court, according to the star. A spokesman for the Met Police said: 'Police were called to a restaurant on Kensington High Street on Saturday, 8 February following reports of a theft and an assault. 'CCTV showed the suspect stealing a phone from the table and then assaulting a separate member of the public who confronted him. More Trending 'The victim of the assault was kicked and punched before the suspect left the premises. 'CCTV enquiries identified Zacariah Boulares as the suspect and he was arrested. Boulares, 18, was charged with common assault and theft.' View More » He will be sentenced later this month. Got a story?
