After ‘Christmas at Sea,' Will There Be a Hallmark Cruise Movie?

All aboard the ship of every holiday lover's dreams! Hallmark's new docuseries, Christmas at Sea, chronicles the network's first-ever Hallmark Christmas Cruise and features some of your favorite Hallmark stars. Hallmark icons Tyler Hynes and Wes Brown were among the stars who took part in the inaugural cruise and had a life-changing experience alongside Hallmark fans. Hynes told TV Insider that the cruise was a place of pure 'warmth and joy.' He added, 'To kind of have this traveling circus where we all get to go around together and make these memories, it's unlike anything that I can think of, and I don't know that it's going to last forever, so I'm just deeply grateful to participate while we can.' Brown recognizes that there's 'never been a fandom like this before.' He revealed that there are '73,000 people on the waiting list for this [year's] cruise.' The actor admitted that he's 'just never seen that many smiles and that many joyous people. And I am being quite serious.' When he entered through the terminal to get on board, he noticed 'people decked out in Christmas gear, just screaming their heads off like we were rock and roll stars.' And everyone kept that energy on the boat. Hynes even got the opportunity to take his boot shot tradition to the high seas. 'It's something that I had hoped maybe it would make some few people happy,' he said. 'The fact that it's grown and it's become this very organized thing, it's beyond anything I'm capable of, and again, has everything to do with the audience who participates and really light that fire.' Hallmark Media / Kim Nunneley The four-part series covers the first Hallmark Christmas Cruise, and there's already another one in the works. Let's hope this means we get Christmas at Sea Season 2! 'There's lots of footage that no one ever saw, let alone the chaos of the different camera crews running around catching us in the audience are doing our live performances on stage,' Hynes said. 'There's probably some ridiculousness there that that didn't fall into this documentary series that should be like a part five and six.' TV Insider also asked Hynes and Brown about any changes they'd made for the second sail, and they had some very clear ideas. 'More shirtless Andrew Walker, maybe three microphones for Jonathan Bennett, and maybe have a live feed into everybody's cabins so that they can't escape his voice,' Hynes joked. 'It was pretty perfect. The games we play, the audience participation, the fact that folks have organized doing a boot shot tradition all together at one end of the ship. I love not knowing what's going to happen. It's fun to be a little naughty and just go do your thing. Working with people that are in front of you, and take it moment to moment. There's nothing I would change, except for shirtless Andrew Walker, Paul's been working out a lot. Maybe his shirt needs to come off.' Brown revealed that a few more music shows will likely be added. 'I may play with a couple other guys. Erin Cahill's husband, Paul Freeman, talked about doing something together. So I think we're going to just add some more show elements to it. I haven't been told everything, but I'm certain it's going to be another blast.' Now that Hallmark fans have gotten the Christmas at Sea docuseries, could we get a holiday movie set on a cruise? 'I feel like it would almost be weird if we didn't now,' Brown admitted. 'If it doesn't exist, I think it's coming,' Hynes teased. 'I think there's a Christmas cruise movie coming, and I think the person who you'd want in that is the person you will get.' , Mondays, 8/7c, Hallmark Channel Solve the daily Crossword

Why on earth is Brooklyn Beckham cooking pasta with seawater?

Name: Brooklyn Beckham. Age: 26. Appearance: Tattooed. Also, uncannily like his old man. Occupation … actually, hang on, I think I know this. He's a celebrity offspring, isn't he? Ouch, cruel. No, he's actually something in his own right. Footballer? Never really happened. Model? Old news. Oh yeah, he's a photographer, isn't he? Again, was. A book of his photos, published when he was just 17, was roundly and widely lampooned. So now he's a… Chef. Oh yes, I think I did see that. And what's he been cooking up? A bit of a storm as it happens. On a boat 'n' all. Go on! So Peltz Beckham (as he's called himself since marrying American actor Nicola Peltz in 2022) is working as a chef on a yacht. Good for him. A superyacht presumably? It certainly could be, judging from the size of the kitchen. This week he shared a TikTok video, filmed on board, demonstrating his tomato pasta. Tomato pasta! Not exactly cordon bleu is it? Previous masterclasses have included one on jacket potatoes with cheese and baked beans. Does he have any cooking qualifications? Nothing formal, though that hasn't stopped him from opening a restaurant. And making a video series, Cookin' With Brooklyn, which also attracted criticism when it was revealed that a whole lot of professionals and a whole lot of money were required to make each episode … but that's another story. Back to this story then. So the controversy this time comes with the pasta water, a saucepan of which Brooklyn scoops from … the sea. Ew. Hope the yacht's not parked off Southend pier, what with Thames Water dumping all that raw sewage upstream. It looks more like the Med than the Thames estuary. But even so, some commenters were horrified. 'That's disgusting,' one opined. Another waded in: 'Obviously cooking pasta in seawater where there are boats that dump diesel into the sea and E coli abounds is not really the best alternative.' But he's boiling it, presumably – surely that will kill any bacteria. I guess. Boiling pasta and rice in seawater is common among seafaring folk, though the general consensus is that it's too salty and that one part sea to two parts fresh is about right. Plus, pasta water requires salt, seawater has salt, so it makes perfect sense. And he's saving precious fresh water. Go Brooklyn, eco warrior! Though there's no escaping the diesel. Or the fact that, even if other countries aren't as bad as the UK at dumping sewage, a lot of toilets on small boats flush straight into the sea … Do say: 'Leave the poor boy alone. It must be hard, and at least he's trying.' Don't say: Basil? I think that's seaweed, Brooklyn …

Partner of Amazon driver killed in train crash says 'he was so loved'

The partner of a 'hardworking' father killed when a train collided with his van has spoken of her pain. Brandon Hatcher, 23, died when the Amazon delivery van he was driving was struck at a level crossing in the rural hamlet of Tonge on July 13. He had just finished delivering to a farm when he got stuck on the level crossing and he was struck by a high-speed train heading to London. His family said they hoped the tragedy would lead to 'learnings' to prevent more deaths. His partner, Chloe Dell, wrote on Facebook: 'He was so loved.' She also shared a link to the fundraising effort, which has so far received £12,837 from hundreds of well-wishers. The crowdfunder said: 'We have recently lost our good friend, Brandon, to a tragic accident. 'Brandon had the biggest heart, he was unintentionally funny, caring and he would have done anything for anyone that needed his help. 'But most importantly, he was a loving father and the best partner. He was a hard-working family man, who will be terribly missed. 'Please, help us support his young family through these difficult times.' It comes after Brandon's family shared a tribute to the young father. They said: 'Brandon was a Dad, Partner, Son, Brother, Grandson and Uncle amongst being a great friend to many who he came into contact with in his life. 'His family are deeply saddened by his passing at such a tragically young age in an accident that could have been so easily avoided. 'We will remember Brandon for his humour, laid back look on life, his smile and love for his family.' They also said they hoped for 'learning' from the incident to prevent 'this sort of tragedy' from happening again. Friends also paid tribute, including Emilia Sudak, who wrote that Brandon was 'kind, funny and thoughtful'. Garry Chambers said he had a 'massive smile' and called him '6ft 5 of gentle giant'. The collision caused a huge fire in greenery close to the railway at Teynham, Kent, according to footage from the scene. More Trending Philippa Lewis, who said she was on the train when the incident happened, wrote that she was 'traumatised by what happened', adding that it was an 'awful incident'. Steve White, Southeastern managing director, said the company was 'fully assisting the Rail Accident Investigation Branch with their investigation to understand exactly what happened'. An Amazon spokesperson said: 'This is a terrible incident and our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the delivery driver's family and loved ones during this difficult time. 'We will work with police and the delivery service provider as they investigate.' MORE: Labour brings c2c into public ownership – What does this mean for you?
