Teenager on e-scooter killed in crash with ambulance in Ayrshire
A teenager riding an e-scooter has died in a crash with an ambulance in North incident happened on the A78 at about 02:35 BST, between the Pennyburn roundabout and the junction with the B799 at 19-year-old man died at the scene. No one in the ambulance was injured. Police Scotland said the road was closed for about six hours and inquiries into the incident were ongoing.
Sgt Jim Dewar said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died and everyone affected by this crash."
