Body found in search for missing Scot Jamie Conn cops confirm
Police confirmed tonight that his body had been found. A body has been found in the search for a missing Scots man. Jamie Conn, 49, was last seen in the Queens Drive area of Ardrossan on Monday, July 28 around 5am. Police confirmed tonight that his body had been found and that his death isn't being treated as suspicious. Ronald Windle, 54, has been reported missing from the Ardersier area near Inverness. He was last seen at around 2am on Saturday July 27 near Fort George - a popular tourist attraction and active army barracks, specifically used by the Black Watch, 3rd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland. Concern is growing among Ronald's family and friends as his current whereabouts are unknown. At the time of his disappearance, he is believed to have been wearing a black T-shirt featuring a Corvette logo and black jeans. He is described as a White English male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with thinning grey/white hair. Police note that Ronald may have been walking in the direction of Inverness and have appealed for motorists on the road at that time to share their dashcam footage.

Two women dead and teenager injured in Highlands crash
Two women have died and a teenage girl has been injured in a three-vehicle crash in the Scottish Highlands. The collision, which happened at around 3pm on Monday, involved two cars and a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) on the A96 at the junction of Kingloss Road in Forres, Moray, Police Scotland said. The two women, aged 48 and 56, who were travelling in a black Vauxhall Mokka, died at the scene, officers said. A 15-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the Vauxhall, was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where she is being treated for her injuries. The driver of the HGV and occupants of a VW Golf were uninjured, the force confirmed. Detectives said the A96 at Forres was set to remain closed for several hours and motorists were urged to avoid the area. Sergeant Lesley Morrison at Road Policing in Elgin said: 'We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this tragic crash or anyone who has dashcam footage of it.'
