According to sources the travel became less 'fun and amazing' with the passage of time. Further complicating matters was the couple's combined brood of nine children.. The couple welcomed five daughters, Phoenix, Xascha, Xanthe, Xahlia and Margaux and a son, Hendrix, during their 13-year relationship, which ended in 2018 when their youngest children, twin daughters, were just two. The chef and onetime owner of Melbourne's Vue du Monde restaurant later told the Herald Sun the couple's six children live with him. Packer's three children, Indigo, Jackson and Emmanuelle are heirs to their businessman-investor father's billion-dollar fortune. The chef and the onetime model reportedly met at the wedding of Sydney chef Guillaume Brahimi and chicken heiress Tamie Ingham in Paris in June 2023. They managed to keep their love affair under the radar until photographers captured the entire clan cavorting together on a Byron Bay beach at Christmas in 2023. Madeleine West has shared a touching tribute to her seven children on Mother's Day. The 47-year-old former Neighbours actress posted a throwback Christmas picture of herself posing with her six eldest kids to Instagram on Sunday. A smiling Madeleine can be seen sitting alongside Santa as she hugged one of her children. The actress, who welcomed her seventh child only last month, used a smiley emoji to obscure the identity of each of her kids in the picture in order to protect their privacy. The TV star—who shares Phoenix, 19, Hendrix, 16, Xascha, 14, Xanthe, 12, and twins Xalia and Margaux, 10, her ex partner Shannon Bennett added a lengthy message to her children including her newborn in the post. 'My magnum opus SEVEN times over!' she began. 'My crazy, cantankerous, curious, clever, chaos of children (collective noun trademarked!) 'Thank you. The woman I've become, as your mum, is the best version of myself I could ever wish to be.... 'Thank you for your trust when you reach out for me. Thank you for your forgiveness when I don't have all the answers. Thank you for the love in your eyes when you call my name,' Madeleine said. 'I don't always get it right, but thank you for your patience as I try to do my best. 'The journey has not been easy, what journey ever is? 'It is an honour to bear witness to your trials and tribulations every day, and to witness the incredible people you are and contribute to become,' she continued. Alongside a truncated image of the child, the Neighbours star wrote: 'Earthside at last… and utterly perfect'. She did not reveal the sex or name of her new arrival at the time. Madeleine revealed the response she received from her friends after she announced her pregnancy in January. 'When I first reached out to my circle and revealed the big news, there was certainly a look. A bit of a stunned mullet, I would say,' she shared. However, she added the shocked expression was soon followed by 'wow' as her friends asked if she was going to 'keep' the baby. The controversial question also opened up a conversation about 'geriatric pregnancies' and the risks which come with them, which she expanded on in her interview with Stellar Magazine. 'I strive to not see motherhood as a limitation on my capacities,' she told the publication, but rather something that 'adds to it exponentially'. She went on to say while falling pregnant certainly wasn't something she was expecting, it was a welcome surprise nonetheless. 'I feel like this little person has come along at the best possible time when I'm so very ready,' she said. Madeleine went on to say she now has 'more time, wisdom and experience' when it comes to parenting.

One of MasterChef Australia 's biggest mysteries has finally been solved as a former contestant has revealed what happens to the show's leftover food. Juan De La Cruz, a contestant from the 2024 series, shed light on the show's approach to minimising food waste behind the scenes. According to Juan, production is proactive in preventing food waste by employing various food preservation techniques. 'Lots of food is donated and also the staff behind the cameras takes some,' he told Chattr. He added at the end of each week, many excess food items were freely given to the cast and crew. 'Sometimes by the end of the week all the fresh food from the pantry such as veggies, fruits and even some meat was up for grabs,' Juan said. 'So we would take ingredients to practice ideas during the weekend,' he continued. Juan added there was a logical explanation behind each contestant using a brand new bottle of oil when competing in a kitchen challenge. 'Opening a new package gives a same start level to everyone. Think humidity in the flour, or even contamination from other ingredients that could ruin recipes,' he said. 'Ultimately the judges will eat this food and they want to prevent any type of contamination.' The 40-year-old board game designer was the seventh contestant to be eliminated on last year's season of the long-running cooking show.
