Netflix cuts WWE SmackDown live stream with millions unable to watch

WWE fans were left raging as the Netflix live stream cut out just minutes into tonight's episode of SmackDown. The wrestling juggernaut is in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ahead of tomorrow's Night of Champions premium live event with Friday's weekly show also being broadcast from the city. After the usual introductions showing various stars arriving at the arena, the show got properly underway with Cody Rhodes making his way to the ring. The American Nightmare was ready to address night's King of the Ring final match against Randy Orton, but his opponent's music interrupted him before he could say a word. Unfortunately for fans, the live feed was halted before the two longtime friends and rivals could get started, with the show still off air almost 20 minutes later. The live event is starting later than expected.' Then, the feed cut to the usual ad break footage of various WWE superstars making their entrances, and a message which read 'We'll be right back' in various languages. More Trending It's currently not clear what has caused the apparent technical difficulties, but it's safe to say fans aren't impressed. '@netflix – fix your #smackdown feed, this is bull,' complained @ALanNZ89 on X. 'Dayum. Smackdown live feed crashed on Netflix during the Cody-Randy promo! That sucks #SmackDown,' added @BeardWithATwist. Roman Reigns WWE return: Will ‘OTC' join forces with former TNA Star to take down Seth Rollins' faction?

Roman Reigns WWE return: Roman Reigns has not been seen on WWE programming since the Raw after WrestleMania 41 in April. Fans expected him to return at Money in the Bank but that did not happen. The star is likely to return in time for SummerSlam in August. When he eventually comes back, 'OTC' may team up with a former United States champion to take out Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, who are part of Seth Rollins' faction. Roman Reigns to help LA Knight take out Seth Rollins' men? LA Knight, who was part of TNA from 2015 to 2019, suffered a vicious beatdown at the hands of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed on the latest episode of Smackdown. The assault left him with multiple 'injuries'. It also served as a reminder of how 'The Megastar' alone won't be able to take down his mighty foes. As such, he may have to find an ally. And, that ally may be none other than Roman Reigns. 'OTC' has been feuding with Seth Rollins for a while. The two even squared off in a triple threat match at 'Mania 41, which also involved CM Punk. The match, however, ended on a controversial note as Paul Heyman– Reigns' Wiseman and Punk's 'best friend'-- joined forces with 'The Visionary'. The next night, Bron Breakker joined the two and speared the former 'Big Dog' through the barricade. Given this, he has more reasons than one to help LA Knight. That said, this angle this purely speculative at the moment. Is Roman Reigns planning to retire? Roman Reigns is no longer a full-time member of the WWE roster, which means he does not need to appear on Raw and SmackDown on a weekly basis. Not too long ago, he revealed that he plans to call time on his in-ring career in another two or three years. This comes at a time when he is trying to find a foothold in Hollywood. Reigns was seen in Hobbs & Shaw and The Wrong Missy.

Karrion Kross Has A Great Reason For Wearing A Goofy Disguise in Public

Karrion Kross has a great reason for wearing a silly disguise ahead of his return to WWE. WWE superstar Karrion Kross made his return to WWE in 2022. The former two-time NXT Champion showed up during the closing moments of the August 5 episode of SmackDown to attack Drew McIntyre before sending a message to Roman Reigns. Advertisement Kross recently reacted to a picture of him and Scarlett wearing a disguise taken ahead of the aforementioned return. The photo in question shows Scarlett wearing fake hair and glasses, while Kross has a wig and mustache. As Kross revealed, he and Scarlett wore the disguise so they could make their way to SmackDown without being noticed. 'The reason we were wearing disguises was to get through travel on our way to Smackdown when we came back without being noticed. It actually worked. We walked by people we've known for 10 years, they had no idea,' Kross wrote on Twitter/X. Did it work? As if that wasn't enough, Kross was asked if they had ever told the people they fooled what they had been up to. Despite recent reports about his contract status, Kross continues to receive huge pops when he does appear on WWE television. He appeared on the go-home episode of RAW for Money in the Bank to confront Sami Zayn while the former Honorary Uce was being treated by a medic.
