Roman Reigns WWE return: Will ‘OTC' join forces with former TNA Star to take down Seth Rollins' faction?
Roman Reigns WWE return: Roman Reigns has not been seen on WWE programming since the Raw after WrestleMania 41 in April. Fans expected him to return at Money in the Bank but that did not happen. The star is likely to return in time for SummerSlam in August. When he eventually comes back, 'OTC' may team up with a former United States champion to take out Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, who are part of Seth Rollins' faction. Roman Reigns to help LA Knight take out Seth Rollins' men?
LA Knight, who was part of TNA from 2015 to 2019, suffered a vicious beatdown at the hands of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed on the latest episode of Smackdown. The assault left him with multiple 'injuries'. It also served as a reminder of how 'The Megastar' alone won't be able to take down his mighty foes.
As such, he may have to find an ally. And, that ally may be none other than Roman Reigns. 'OTC' has been feuding with Seth Rollins for a while. The two even squared off in a triple threat match at 'Mania 41, which also involved CM Punk.
The match, however, ended on a controversial note as Paul Heyman– Reigns' Wiseman and Punk's 'best friend'-- joined forces with 'The Visionary'. The next night, Bron Breakker joined the two and speared the former 'Big Dog' through the barricade. Given this, he has more reasons than one to help LA Knight. That said, this angle this purely speculative at the moment. Is Roman Reigns planning to retire?
Roman Reigns is no longer a full-time member of the WWE roster, which means he does not need to appear on Raw and SmackDown on a weekly basis. Not too long ago, he revealed that he plans to call time on his in-ring career in another two or three years. This comes at a time when he is trying to find a foothold in Hollywood. Reigns was seen in Hobbs & Shaw and The Wrong Missy.

Why is Bill Goldberg retiring? WWE star says 'I've got a life to live'
Jun 28, 2025 03:13 PM IST WWE champion Bill Goldberg officially announced his retirement from the sport during a recent appearance on an episode of the CarCast podcast. The two-time WWE Universal Champion discussed his journey in the sport and reasons for retirement during the conversation. He is scheduled to compete against Gunther in the upcoming WWE Saturday Night's Main Event in Atlanta- a match that may just prove to be his last. WWE star Bill Goldberg confirmed his retirement. (X) Goldberg cited a desire to lead a more laid back life as reason for calling it quits. 'I've a life to live. I have a family and I have responsibilities. You know there's a lot you got to do at one point. I don't have anyone helping anymore. I've got my agents, but I don't have assistance, and I don't have anybody working under the roof other than myself. It's tough to be able to fit everything in. But there will be a lull after this match. I won't be wrestling anymore,' he said. He even pointed out his stem cell treatment as the reason he was able to return for one last match in the tournament. 'If Bioxcellerator didn't hook me up with the stem cells, I don't think I'd be able to be doing this. So that was something I strategically needed to place at the beginning so I could chill and then slowly get back into training and get my shoulder back, and hopefully get my knee back, and keep my spine aligned. There's a lot that goes into it, and I got to be a human being along the way,' he added. WWE star Chad Gable injured ahead of Night of Champions, could miss rest of the year
Jun 28, 2025 02:54 PM IST WWE champion Chad Gable has been injured, as revealed by multiple sources on Wednesday (June 25). The injury comes ahead of the upcoming Night of Champions tournament in Riyadh. Pro W Finesse announced the same via a social media post which read, 'Chad Gable being injured genuinely sucks. He has been the ultimate workhorse 💔' WWE champion Chad Gable suffered an injury.(X) How long will Gable be out? Gable had received an undisclosed injury recently due to which he had been written off WWE TV as well. During Monday's episode of WWE Raw, Penta brutally attacked Gable backstage during which his arm snapped off- an instance that PWInsider Elite is now reporting as a deliberate measure to write him off the show due to his sustained injury. What was being kept a secret three days back is now in the open as Gable is scheduled to go for surgery sometime in early July. No update was provided on when fans can expect to see him back in the squared ring but due to the extent of his injury, he is being ruled out of the company at least for the rest of this year. This development has squashed all the hard work and effort invested by the 39-year-old player who must now wait for the medical go-ahead before resuming past activities. Before news of his injury broke, he had come off from an occupied weekend in Los Angeles, California where he wrestled El Hijo del Vikingo in the main event of WWE Worlds Collide. Later in the day, Gable also competed in the Men's Money in the Bank Match as his alter ego El Grande Americano. He currently holds the WWE Speed title and was last seen in action against AJ Styles on 'Raw'. The 2025 WWE Night of Champions is scheduled to take place on Saturday (June 28). Fans can stream the event live on Peacock at 1 PM ET.
