Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra More Details Leaked

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is generating significant attention, with leaks suggesting notable advancements in both performance and design. From a long-awaited global RAM upgrade to potential changes in the iconic S Pen, these updates could reshape Samsung's flagship lineup. As the company refines its offerings, these developments may influence the competitive smartphone market and establish new benchmarks for premium devices. Watch this video on YouTube. RAM Upgrade: A Leap in Performance Samsung is reportedly introducing a global 16GB RAM option with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, marking the first such upgrade in four years. Previously, the Galaxy S25 Ultra offered 16GB RAM only in select regions, leaving many users without access to the higher memory configuration. This enhancement is expected to deliver a significant boost in multitasking capabilities and overall performance, particularly for users who rely on resource-intensive applications such as video editing, gaming, and productivity tools. By addressing the growing demand for seamless operation, Samsung is not only catering to power users but also future-proofing its devices for evolving software requirements. This move positions the company as a leader in high-performance smartphones, aligning with the increasing expectations of consumers who demand both speed and efficiency from their devices. S Pen Redesign: A Shift in Philosophy One of the most discussed rumors surrounding the Galaxy S26 Ultra is the potential removal of the built-in S Pen, a feature that has long been a hallmark of Samsung's Ultra series. Reports suggest that Samsung may transition to an external S Pen to optimize internal space for other hardware upgrades, such as larger batteries or enhanced cooling systems. While this change could pave the way for improved hardware capabilities, it has sparked mixed reactions among loyal users. For some, the integrated S Pen represents unparalleled convenience and functionality, while others see the shift as a necessary trade-off for innovation. Looking ahead, the Galaxy S27 Ultra may fully embrace this redesign, signaling a broader evolution in Samsung's approach to flagship devices. This potential change reflects the company's ongoing efforts to balance usability with innovative technology. Galaxy ZFold 7: Prioritizing Portability and Durability The Galaxy ZFold 7 is also rumored to undergo significant changes, particularly in its approach to stylus support. Reports indicate that Samsung has decided against including a new S Pen design for this foldable model. The removal of the digitizer layer, which enables stylus compatibility, is reportedly aimed at reducing the device's thickness and improving portability. Instead, Samsung appears to be focusing on structural enhancements, such as a titanium hinge plate, to improve durability and usability. These adjustments highlight the trade-offs involved in balancing innovation with user needs. While the absence of stylus support may disappoint some users, the emphasis on a slimmer and more robust design could attract a broader audience. For foldable enthusiasts, these changes represent a step forward in creating devices that are both practical and innovative. Design and Hardware: Meeting Consumer Expectations Samsung's rumored design decisions for its flagship devices reflect a broader strategy to optimize performance and usability. The potential removal of the built-in S Pen in the Galaxy S26 Ultra could free up space for larger batteries, addressing one of the most common consumer demands for longer battery life. Similarly, the inclusion of a titanium hinge in the Galaxy ZFold 7 underscores Samsung's commitment to durability, particularly in the foldable segment. These hardware improvements aim to deliver a more refined user experience while maintaining Samsung's reputation for innovation. By prioritizing practical enhancements, the company is working to meet the evolving needs of its diverse user base. These decisions demonstrate Samsung's ability to adapt to market trends while staying true to its core values of quality and performance. Competitive Edge: Staying Ahead in the Market The Galaxy S26 Ultra's rumored 16GB RAM upgrade positions Samsung to outpace competitors like Apple, which is reportedly introducing 12GB RAM in its next-generation iPhones. By offering higher memory configurations globally, Samsung is reinforcing its dominance in the premium smartphone market. This focus on performance and user-centric design highlights Samsung's commitment to staying ahead in a highly competitive industry. These strategic moves not only address current consumer demands but also lay the groundwork for future advancements, making sure that Samsung remains a leader in mobile technology. Galaxy Unpacked: A Glimpse into the Future Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, rumored to take place on July 9, 2025, is expected to provide more details about the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy ZFold 7, and potentially the Galaxy S27 Ultra. This event is anticipated to offer insights into Samsung's vision for its flagship lineup and the broader direction of its product strategy. As anticipation builds, both consumers and industry experts are eager to see how these developments will shape the future of mobile technology. The event is likely to serve as a platform for Samsung to showcase its latest innovations and reaffirm its position as a leader in the smartphone industry. Did you know your Samsung phone has a secret Wi-Fi menu? Here's how to enable it

Joe Maring / Android Authority If you have a Samsung phone, there's a good chance you chose it over competing Android handsets because of the sheer number of settings Samsung lets you play with. Whether it's having a half-dozen ways to take a screenshot or creating a powerful automation system with Samsung Routines, there's no shortage of ways to get the most out of a Samsung Galaxy phone. While Samsung makes some of these things readily available and easy to find, other software features are far less obvious — with some completely hidden unless you know exactly where to look. One such example is the 'Connectivity Labs' Wi-Fi settings menu. It's buried deep in the Settings app on your Samsung phone, and it's something I didn't know existed until just the other day. Which is a shame, because there's some really cool stuff in here. Let me show you. Did you know about Samsung's Connectivity Labs? 0 votes Yes NaN % No NaN % How to find Samsung's secret Wi-Fi settings Joe Maring / Android Authority So, where is this hidden Wi-Fi settings menu? Here's how to find and activate it: Open the Settings app on your Samsung phone. Tap Connections. Tap Wi-Fi. Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner. Tap Intelligent Wi-Fi. From this page, find the Intelligent Wi-Fi button at the bottom and repeatedly tap it. You'll see a pop-up letting you know that Connectivity Labs will be enabled if you keep tapping, so keep on doing that until you see the new Connectivity Labs option appear below Intelligent Wi-Fi. It seems that Connectivity Labs was quietly added sometime in 2023, and it recently garnered a fresh batch of attention over the weekend on the r/SamsungGalaxy subreddit. I've confirmed that Connectivity Labs is available on Samsung phones running One UI 7 and the One UI 8 Beta. Given that Connectivity Labs was introduced in 2023, it should also be present on Samsung phones that still have One UI 6. The best Connectivity Labs features you should try Joe Maring / Android Authority Once Connectivity Labs is enabled, you'll find a swath of new settings to play around with. The page starts by showing a graph of your Wi-Fi time and usage over the past week, including which specific bands you were using. It's neat, but there are far more interesting things to check out. Scroll past this graph, and you're met with a laundry list of settings and toggles. You can play with all of them if you want, but I want to highlight a few of my favorites. The first option on the list, Home Wi-Fi inspection, is particularly cool. Once you select it and tap on your home Wi-Fi network, you're asked to walk around your house while the feature tests all the different access points and bands of your router, determining if there are any weak signal areas. There are also some helpful toggles to configure how your phone stays connected to Wi-Fi networks and when it disconnects from them. The Switching to mobile data faster toggle, for example, will stop your phone from holding onto a weak Wi-Fi signal for too long and jump to your mobile data sooner than it typically does — something you may want to enable if you have an unlimited data plan and aren't worried about your mobile data useage. Auto reconnect to carrier Wi-Fi is another interesting setting. If you have a carrier like Xfinity Mobile or Spectrum Mobile, your phone probably automatically connects to your carrier's public Wi-Fi hotspots to supplement your cell coverage. This is enabled by default, but if you don't want that to happen, you can easily disable it from this menu. I also quite like the Customize Wi-Fi list settings page. From here, you can enable a filter button on your main Wi-Fi networks page. When you tap it, you can choose to only see secured networks, Wi-Fi 6 connections, etc. Finally, if you tap Wi-Fi developer options at the bottom of the Connectivity Labs page, you'll find an entirely new menu of even more Wi-Fi settings to fiddle with. Joe Maring / Android Authority You can probably ignore most of these, but the Nearby Wi-Fi information page is quite helpful. It displays a list of all nearby Wi-Fi networks, along with their signal strengths, categorized as Best, Good, Bad, and Worst. If you're in an area with a lot of public Wi-Fi networks to choose from, this could be a great way to ensure you choose the best one. Who knew this was here? Joe Maring / Android Authority Had I not stumbled across that recent Reddit thread, I probably never would have known that Connectivity Labs existed. And given the small amount of reporting/discussion there is about Connectivity Labs online, it seems that most people don't know about it either. I'm not sure why Samsung has these settings buried so deeply and behind so many sub-menus. There's genuinely useful stuff here, and while some of the settings are a bit technical, almost anyone can benefit from features like the home Wi-Fi inspection and the Wi-Fi filter menu. I'd love to see Samsung make some of these settings more obvious, but until that happens, hopefully, this article helped you find them.

Samsung just leaked its own Galaxy Z Flip 7, Z Fold 7 colors, including exclusive shade

Evan Blass TL;DR Samsung has accidentally published staging sites for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7. The listings are filled with placeholder information, but they seemingly confirm colors and storage options. Samsung will apparently offer Green Mint as the online-exclusive color. Samsung is gearing up to launch its new Galaxy foldable phones next month, and we've seen a steady stream of leaks already. However, it looks like the company may have inadvertently posted information about the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7. Samsung seems to have accidentally published staging sites for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 on its Irish website. These purchase pages have a ton of placeholder details that apply to previous launches, but the pages seem to have confirmed the phone colors. More specifically, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 (codenamed Q7) is listed with Jet Black, Blue Shadow, and Silver Shadow color options. We previously saw the Blue Shadow and Jet Black renders leak earlier this week, but the Silver Shadow option wasn't shown off at the time. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 (codenamed B7) is listed with Coral Red, Jet Black, and Blue Shadow color schemes. This lines up with renders shared by veteran leaker Evan Blass yesterday, and seen at the top of the page. Both phones are listed with Green Mint as the exclusive color. This differs from the online-exclusive shades seen on last year's foldables and the Galaxy S25 series, suggesting that this isn't a placeholder color. We also see storage variants listed here, namely 256GB and 512GB options for the Flip 7 and 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants for the Z Fold 7. This would be in line with other leaked listings. We have to caution you once again that these listings are populated with placeholder details otherwise. For example, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is listed at an absurdly low price, while the Z Flip 7 price also seems lower than last year's model. Furthermore, the 'double your storage' promotion seen here expired on February 6, while the July 25 shipping date matches last year's foldables. We also see the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 images used in places. Needless to say, it seems like the colors and storage might be the only accurate information here. Galaxy Z Fold 7's S Pen story just got complicated

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 's official event is getting closer and closer. With the approaching timeframe, more details are leaking, completing a very-detailed-already picture of what we might expect that leaks started painting months ago. Now, a new rumor is giving us some slightly concerning information – reportedly, Samsung has run into production issues with an "unknown" S Pen. It's not clear whether this "unknown" S Pen is the one designed to work with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 . However, we've heard from rumors that Samsung may have had to remove the S Pen digitizer from the Galaxy Z Fold 7 , aiming for a slimmer device (which is the latest fad). So, in order for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 to still support the stylus, Samsung would've needed to go the Apple route. This "unknown" S Pen may be the new one that Samsung is working on for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 . The rumor doesn't say specifically what production issues the company has run into though, but it indicates the company has stopped making the specific type of S Pen. The rumor comes from tipster @PandaFlashPro, who has a mixed track record when it comes to leaks. Nevertheless, if they are right, this could indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may launch without an S Pen available for it right away, and users who'd like to take advantage of a stylus may have to wait for some time after the Fold's release for the new S Pen. The tipster's post on X. | Screenshot By – PhoneArena Why a new S Pen for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 ? Well, as we already mentioned, Samsung may have had (according to rumors) to remove the digitizer on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 for slimming purposes. That would mean a new way of registering stylus input on the display would have been needed. So a new S Pen would also need to be produced. Samsung's Fold phones have supported the S Pen for a couple of years already. Unlike the Galaxy S Ultra models, the S Pen doesn't have a dedicated slot in the foldable phone and it doesn't ship in the phone's box. People wanting to use the S Pen with the Fold need to purchase the stylus separately, and if they want to carry it around with the phone all the time, they need a special case for it. Fortunately, though, Samsung's next Unpacked event is now getting closer than ever, likely to happen on July 9 in New York City, according to prominent and reputable leaker Evan Blass. So, as you can see, we don't have to wait for too long to find out the Galaxy Z Fold 7 's S Pen situation. So far, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has leaked almost entirely ahead of its official unveiling. Recently, a dummy hands-on video showed what could very well be the Galaxy Z Fold 7 next to its predecessor. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 seems to be noticeably slimmer (just 9mm folded in comparison to 12mm on its predecessor) and looks way more modern, making the Fold 6 look, well, ancient. The phone also recently leaked in fresh renders and may ditch the under-display camera. Samsung's almighty flagship foldable may rock the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which is the chip currently in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will likely be introduced alongside its clamshell sibling, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, and a couple of new Galaxy Watch models: the Galaxy Watch 8 series. All in all, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may come with plenty of little improvements here and there, but nothing exceptional is expected this year, apart from maybe the thin design that Samsung itself teased. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will battle the Oppo Find N5, the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and others for the title of the best foldable phone . Meanwhile, Apple is yet to release its first foldable iPhone, rumored for the end of 2026. Secure your connection now at a bargain price!
