Nothing Phone 3 has 50MP periscope camera, Nothing confirms ahead of July 1 launch

The Phone 3 should have multiple cameras. Today, Nothing is confirming the specs of one of them. The Nothing Phone 3, which Nothing calls its first true flagship, is set to launch globally on July 1 with a 50-megapixel periscope lens. How far it can go, in other words its zoom range, remains a mystery at the time of a teaser shared on X, the platform previously known as Twitter, Nothing revealed the Phone 3, which has a 50-megapixel periscope lens, is apparently 'built for creators.' In a follow-up tweet, it shared a bunch of photos presumably shot from the Phone 3 showing off its impressive zoom – including telemacro – capability. Given that its predecessor, the Phone 2, did not have any telephoto camera, it's a welcome upgrade though, one can't help but be more curious about the rest of the setup. The Phone 2 had only two cameras, wide and ultrawide. It would be interesting to see if the Phone 3 has more cameras – or drops the ultrawide in favour of a is now the third Phone 3 spec that Nothing has announced. Previously, it confirmed the glyph matrix layout which is set to replace its earlier glyph lights. Promo materials suggest it will be placed at one end of the phone towards the top (right adjacent to the cameras) though its exact functionality isn't immediately clear. The other big reveal was that the Phone 3 will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is a sequel to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 promising up to 49 percent faster performance, especially in terms of GPU power. Next to the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1-powered Phone 2, the gains are even higher, clocking up to 88 percent, according to Nothing cofounder and currently its India head, Akis design is being gradually revealed which strongly points to one thing, which is that the Phone 3 will see some overhaul compared to its predecessors, but to what extent, it remains to be seen. Nothing continues to offer an inside look by throwing in screws and visual elements that come together to bring you closer to your phone, both literally and figuratively. Though, with its signature LEDs gone, fans will be interested to see where Nothing goes with Phone 3, which is launching globally and in India at the same time on July 1. Joining the Phone 3 will be Nothing's first over-ear headphones aptly called, the Nothing Headphone 1.- Ends

OnePlus confirms the mid-range Nord 5 will 'steal' a camera from the OnePlus 13 flagship

The OnePlus Nord 5, for instance, was officially confirmed last week to pack a "flagship" Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. If that and a few pictures revealing the mid-ranger's undeniably premium-looking backplate were not enough to drive your excitement around the next addition to the budget-friendly Nord roster through the roof, I have some pretty spectacular camera hardware details to share with you today. OnePlus 13 These are 100 percent official, mind you, not to mention 100 percent awe-inspiring, as the Nord 5 is set to share a primary rear-facing camera sensor with none other than the OnePlus 13 . We're talking about a cutting-edge Sony Lytia 700 with optical image stabilization, which as you can imagine, is not very routinely found on significantly cheaper handsets than the ultra-high-end Receive the latest Android news By subscribing you agree to our terms and conditions and privacy policy Believe it or not, that's not the only camera the OnePlus Nord 5 plans to "steal" from a 2025 Android flagship, with its 50MP JN5 front-facing snapper likely to sound familiar to hardcore Samsung fans and owners of a particular "Ultra" phone released this year. Yes, that's the Galaxy S25 Ultra , which oddly enough only comes with a 12MP selfie camera in tow. The Samsung-made Isocell JN5 sensor is actually found on the S25 Ultra 's back rather than its front, alongside a 200MP primary snapper, a 10MP telephoto lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor. Obviously, the Nord 5 won't come close to that degree of camera versatility and overall performance, but for its (presumed) price point, the two 50MP imaging sensors confirmed today are truly spectacular. Unfortunately, there are still no (official) words on the specs and features of the undoubtedly humbler Nord CE5, while the OnePlus Buds 4 are guaranteed to bring "flagship-level" sound quality, Hi-Res Audio technology, 3D Spatial Audio support, and "industry-leading" active noise cancellation to markets as diverse as India and the US in just a couple of weeks The Buds 4, mind you, are the only new OnePlus product set for a July 8 announcement stateside, with the Nord 5, Nord CE5, and Pad Lite all expected to primarily target Asian and European territories. There's also a 43mm OnePlus Watch 3 in the (US) pipeline, but that's not technically an all-new device Grab Surfshark VPN now at more than 50% off and with 3 extra months for free! Those seem to include complete honesty on key specs and high-quality images showcasing the main cosmetic strengths of the brand's upcoming devices.
