Bus driver lists five annoying things passengers do – including one common habit

Snoopio is a bus driver in the capital with Arriva and has publicly aired passenger habits that annoy him, such as not having a pass ready before boarding the bus Taking public transport can sometimes prove to be a stressful experience. Bus drivers, particularly in bustling cities like Edinburgh and Glasgow, aim to complete their routes on time and enjoy hassle-free journeys. However, this isn't always the case. ‌ Sadly, not everyone is blessed with the same good manners as the majority of us, and rude passengers can ruin an otherwise perfectly fine day for all involved. But one bus driver has had enough - and hit out at the impolite, disrespectful and sometimes insulting people that board the buses. Snoopio, who drives for Arriva, has spoken up against rude people who use public transport, revealing his top five most annoying situations while transporting passengers on his routes. ‌ He took to TikTok to share a video outlining five passenger habits that get under his skin. ‌ Top of his list? The kind of people who dilly-dally and don't have their pass or ticket ready before they board. Snoopio pointed out that passengers waiting at a bus stop have ample time to prepare their pass. This slows down the process, meaning drivers aren't able to move onto the next stop as quickly. He said: 'You know when a passenger's standing up at the stop and they get on a bus and that's when they decide to look for their pass, like the Oyster? ‌ "That is annoying, like what were you waiting for all this time?' Next on his list is when passengers who have been sprinting for a bus don't appreciate how the driver has slowed down to allow them to catch up. Many people find themselves sprinting for a bus, especially if they're on a tight schedule. And while drivers don't always wait in these situations, those who do appreciate a simple 'thank you' from passengers who make it onto the bus. That makes it especially irksome, Snoopio says. ‌ He added: "You know when you see a passenger running, I'm like 'ah, I'll stop for them'. You wait for them for a good little while and they get on the bus and don't say thank you. What? "I'll open the door and say "you're welcome". Have some manners, you know? That's annoying." ‌ Another pet peeve is one that riles anyone on a bus up. Snoopio, who drives in London for Arriva, explains: 'Pressing the bus stop bell several times and no-one gets up for the stop. "You know how many times I could have been ahead of where I am but you got me stopping, opening doors, letting on ghosts?' He says it's a nuisance when no one disembarks, as this delays the journey. ‌ Another rude and disrespectful thing some passengers do is knock on the window when they want to be let on to the bus. Sometimes, the bus will slow down as it approaches a stop to take up the full stop and avoid edging into the main road. And while the usual way for passengers at a stop to signal to drivers that they want to board is by extending their arm, some take it took far. Snoopio said: "You know, like when you're just moving up a little bit closer, like just to fill out the whole bus stop and then passengers start knocking on the window? "Now I'm not stopping. Now I'm going. What are you doing? Why are you knocking?" Finally Snoopio hit out at would-be "heroes" who inform the driver that someone is rushing to catch the bus. Some even take it further by sticking their leg into the bus door to prevent the drivers from leaving without that person rushing. He said: "I can see. What are you trying to do, trying to play the hero? What for? For a little thank you? Go and sit down."

IPinfo Launches IPinfo Plus: High-Resolution IP Privacy Data for Greater Certainty

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IPinfo, the internet data company, today announced the launch of IPinfo Plus, a new product that delivers high-resolution IP intelligence designed to support advanced risk modeling, threat detection, and compliance efforts. Built for organizations that need more than boolean flags and basic location data, IPinfo Plus offers granular context across geolocation, privacy detection, network infrastructure, mobile carrier data, and ASN data. 'With IPinfo Plus, we're giving security and compliance teams the precision they need to act with certainty,' said Ben Dowling, CEO of IPinfo. 'Our goal is to eliminate guesswork from IP intelligence by providing detailed, verified data at scale. Instead of just knowing if an IP is using anonymizing technology, they'll know what kind of service it's using. Rather than simply knowing an IP's city, they'll see the accuracy radius and the last time the IP geolocation and ASN data changed.' With 32 enriched IP attributes, IPinfo Plus converts raw IPs into clear signals so fraud, security, and compliance teams can act without second-guessing: Location Precision: Know the exact geographic precision with accuracy radius in kilometers around the coordinates, helping you determine if the location data meets your requirements for geo-based rules and compliance. Privacy Clarity: Identify the exact anonymity layer and provider (VPN, proxy, Tor, relay) instead of a vague flag, enabling tailored controls. Carrier Details: Surface carrier name and MCC/MNC codes so you can build carrier-specific rules, detect SIM-swap risk, or offer direct-bill payment only on supported networks. Network Change Detection: See last-changed timestamps for both geolocation and ASN data to help identify recently reassigned IP ranges and infrastructure shifts: critical for detecting potential fraud or security risks from freshly allocated IPs. Infrastructure Identification: Get hosting, anycast, and satellite indicators that classify network types, while hostname resolution provides reverse DNS for deeper infrastructure profiling and verification. IPinfo Plus Use Cases Include: VPN and proxy service identification: Identify specific anonymizing services and providers to build targeted security policies and access controls IP reassignment detection: Monitor geo and ASN change timestamps to flag recently reassigned IP ranges that may pose higher fraud risk Mobile carrier fraud prevention: Implement carrier-specific rules using MCC/MNC codes and carrier names to detect SIM-swap attacks or enable direct billing on verified networks Location-based compliance: Use accuracy radius to determine if geolocation precision meets regulatory requirements for content licensing, tax calculation, or data residency Learn More IPinfo Plus is available starting at $62/month (with annual commitment) for 150,000 API requests, with flexible pricing tiers up to 1M requests on monthly or annual plans. Data is available via API, database download, Snowflake Marketplace, or Google Cloud Marketplace (US and EU). Snowflake Intelligence and Data Science Agent Deliver The Next Frontier of Data Agents for Enterprise AI and ML

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Snowflake (NYSE: SNOW), the AI Data Cloud company, today announced at its annual user conference, Snowflake Summit 2025, new agentic AI innovations that bridge the gap between enterprise data and business action, making AI and ML workflows easy, connected, and trusted for technical and non-technical users alike. Snowflake Intelligence (public preview soon) offers business users and data professionals a unified conversational experience — powered by intelligent data agents — to ask natural language questions and instantly uncover actionable insights from both structured tables and unstructured documents. Snowflake is also unveiling Data Science Agent (private preview soon), an agentic companion that boosts data scientists' productivity by automating routine ML model development tasks. These innovations enable users to simplify their AI and ML workflows, democratize access to data across their businesses, and eliminate the technical overhead that slows down business decision-making — all through natural language interactions within Snowflake. 'AI agents are a major leap from traditional automation or chatbots, but in order to deploy them at scale, businesses need an AI-ready information ecosystem. This means enterprises must be able to unite data silos, maintain enterprise-grade security and compliance, and have easy ways to adopt and build agents," said Baris Gultekin, Head of AI, Snowflake. "Snowflake Intelligence breaks down these barriers by democratizing the ability to extract meaningful intelligence from an organization's entire enterprise data estate — structured and unstructured data alike. This isn't just about accessing data, it's about empowering every employee to make faster, smarter decisions with all of their business context at their fingertips." 'At WHOOP, our mission is to unlock human performance and healthspan, and data is central to everything we do. Snowflake Intelligence marks a big step forward in our ability to be a data-first organization, ensuring that all employees can access insights without relying on analytics teams as the intermediary,' said Matt Luizzi, Sr. Director of Business Analytics, WHOOP. 'By eliminating the technical barriers to gleaning the insights we need for decision-making, our analytics teams can now shift from manual data retrieval tasks to more strategic, predictive, and value-generating work.' Snowflake Intelligence Reimagines Business Intelligence, Without the Overhead Today, organizations are plagued by inefficient decision-making due to disjointed data governance, silos between data formats, and a shortage of technical data analysts who can code and synthesize information across the business. Snowflake Intelligence eliminates these operational challenges, allowing non-technical users and business teams to have conversations with their enterprise data in natural language — all without writing a single line of code. Running directly inside organizations' existing Snowflake environment, Snowflake Intelligence inherits all security controls, data masking, and governance policies automatically. It unifies data across sources including Snowflake, Box, Google Drive, Salesforce Data Cloud via Zero Copy, Workday, Zendesk, and more, using the new Snowflake Openflow to bring together insights from spreadsheets, documents, images, and databases simultaneously. By leveraging natural language prompts, the data agents powering Snowflake Intelligence can generate visualizations and assist users in taking action on insights. From analyzing business metrics to looking up helpful internal knowledge, Snowflake Intelligence enables every employee to easily access and harness the full potential of their company's data. Snowflake Intelligence can also access third-party knowledge through Cortex Knowledge Extensions (generally available soon) on Snowflake Marketplace, and incorporate expert content from Packt, Stack Overflow, the USA TODAY Network, and more to further contextualize and enrich responses. Snowflake Intelligence is powered by state-of-the-art large language models from Anthropic and OpenAI, running inside the Snowflake perimeter, and is powered by Cortex Agents (generally available soon) under the hood — all delivered through an intuitive, no-code interface that helps provide transparency and explainability. 'By integrating Claude's reasoning capabilities directly into Snowflake's platform, we're further eliminating the traditional barriers between data and insights. Business users can now have natural conversations with their enterprise data, while data scientists can automate complex ML workflows — all through simple natural language interactions,' said Michael Gerstenhaber, VP, Product Management, Anthropic. 'This demonstrates how Claude's advanced reasoning can democratize AI while maintaining the enterprise-grade security and governance that organizations require.' Data Science Agent Automates Tedious ML Tasks, Saving Hours of Manual Work Data scientists spend lengthy cycles on developing and troubleshooting their ML workflows, leading to operational bottlenecks and fewer ML models making their way to production. Now, Snowflake is bringing agentic AI to ML workflows with Data Science Agent to boost productivity for ML teams by slashing hours of manual work. Data Science Agent uses Anthropic's Claude to break down problems associated with ML workflows into distinct steps, such as data analysis, data preparation, feature engineering, and training. Combining advanced techniques such as multi-step reasoning, contextual understanding, and action execution, Data Science Agent provides verified solutions in the form of fully functional ML pipelines that can be easily executed from a Snowflake Notebook. With suggested improvements, or with user provided follow-ups, Data Science Agent helps users easily iterate to the next-best version. By automating this tedious work, data science teams save hours of time that they would typically spend on experimentation or debugging — and can instead focus on higher-impact initiatives. Snowflake Accelerates Enterprise AI Adoption for More Than 5,200 Customers Today, over 5,200¹ customers from companies like BlackRock, Luminate, and Penske Logistics are using Snowflake Cortex AI to transform their businesses.
