Jermaine Dupri Hints At Drake Getting His Own Radio Station In ‘Grand Theft Auto 6'

Jermaine Dupri might have just leaked the biggest musical Easter egg tied to Grand Theft Auto VI — and it involves Drake. While speaking with Rory and Mal on their eponymous podcast, the Atlanta super producer casually revealed, 'They asked me to do Grand Theft Auto, and they were saying like Drake got his own radio station on Grand Theft Auto.' According to Dupri, not only has Rockstar Games tapped the rap icon for his own personalized in-game radio station, but 'Drake can actually upload music that we probably have never even heard online on that video game,' he shared. That means GTA VI may have the ability to debut exclusive tracks through gameplay. The highly anticipated game is set to release on May 26, 2026. While Rockstar hasn't confirmed Drake's acquirement, notably fans have long desired the ability to curate their own radio stations within the GTA universe. If true, the Toronto star might be the first to make that vision a virtual reality. Aside from the 'Nokia' rapper, ScHoolboy Q also revealed back in February 2023 that he'd be featured musically in GTA VI, while T-Pain shared he had worked with Rockstar as well. And though DJ Khaled hasn't confirmed his involvement directly, rumors earlier this year suggested he might be hosting his own station when the game drops. If artists can use the game as a DSP to drop exclusives, the lines between streaming culture and gaming will get blurrier and a lot more interesting. Diving more into the streaming world, Drake is set to appear on Kai Cenat's livestream to review entries for their 'Somebody Loves Me' music video contest. The event, which was supposed to take place last night (June 12) was postponed until further notice. 'We need more time with the treatments for 'Somebody Loves Me,' so we are pushing the stream back a few more days,' Cenat explained via Instagram Story. No new date has been revealed yet. Drake To Join Kai Cenat On Livestream And Host $300K Giveaway

Chat, it's lit! Drake will join Kai Cenat on a live stream this week as the duo hosts a $300,000 giveaway. The popular Twitch streamer confirmed the broadcast will take place on Thursday (June 12) at 8 p.m., as a follow-up to his May announcement that he and the Toronto superstar were hosting a 'Somebody Loves Me' music video challenge for fans. They were told to submit a 30-second to one-minute video treatment for the PARTYNEXTDOOR-assisted record from their February joint album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U. 'First of all Thank you to everyone who share their video submission for Somebody loves Me,' he wrote on Instagram story. 'We were blown away by the creativity and thought poured into each submission. We were suppose to go live today but needed a little extra time to review them.' Cenat revealed that Drizzy would join him on stream to review the submissions live, and share their favorite treatments, plus the ideas they weren't so fond of. In the end, 20 fans will be selected and given $15,000 each to make their video treatments come to life. Read below. This challenge was sparked by Kai Cenat publicly admitting that he wasn't a fan of Drake's 'NOKIA' music video from this past March. The 6 God decided to put the power in the 23-year-old personality's hands, but also empower his fans to help. 'CALLING ALL VI$$$IONARIES,' he wrote on Instagram. 'This is about using your creativity, racking your brain, to make something work that's genius. 'Find those ideas that are right there in front of you that everybody's going to watch and wish they came up with.' The final music video will reportedly be a compilation of clips from all of the winners' individual videos. Last week, he shared one submission where a fan utilized A.I. to show an angel sitting on a cloud texting, only for her phone to disappear out of her hands and an orb with a shirtless Drake holding up his phone camera replacing it. The angel leapt off the cloud and flapped her wings as she descended through the sky down to a city before dramatically landing in an alley. The angel then morphed into the fan, who walked into a nightclub past fans with shocked looks on their faces as she met up with A.I. versions of the Toronto duo. A.I. Drake seemed happy to see her; meanwhile, A.I. PND's expression was one of shock. Watch below. Kai Cenat and Drake to stream and collaborate on a music video

American streaming sensation Kai Cenat and Canadian rapper Drake will be on a live stream together on June 12. They will be reviewing submissions for a contest the pair hosted to find concepts for Drake's, Somebody Loves Me music video. Drake's latest album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U , was created in collaboration with singer and songwriter PartyNextDoor. PartyNextDoor also happens to be the first artist Drake signed to his OVO Sound music label. The trap soul duo invited up-and-coming directors to pitch their best motifs and concepts for the video. The talent search, launched by Drake and PartyNextDoor, invited aspiring directors to pitch ideas for the video, with 20 winners receiving $15 000 each (267 424.50 ZAR) to bring their concepts to life. This whole thing first came to be when a sizeable portion of the live stream chat on Cenat's popular Twitch stream said they felt the last video Drake released was subpar. The rapper then insisted they direct his next one. The 20 chosen creators will contribute a short clip ranging between 30 seconds to a minute each. These will be stitched together and curated by Cenat and his collective Any Means Possible (AMP). Submissions for the contest closed on May 24, with both Cenat and Drake raving about some entries and critiquing others. The rise of social media has meshed with the music industry, with TikTok challenges garnering artists critical acclaim in this era. A slightly more artful approach has been what streamers and YouTubers have been able to cultivate. Drake has been making a point of joining streamers for sessions and locally we have even seen rappers like Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C embrace Twitch. None more so than Cenat. He has become somewhat of an authority on newer music tastes because of his widely enjoyed reviews. This collaboration surprises fans. Cenat was unexpectedly mentioned in Drake's lawsuit against Universal Music Group involving his globally recognised defeat to Kendrick Lamar, last year. So far, the mood between the two appears to be amicable. Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 11. Kai Cenat and Drake Set to Go Live Amid UMG Lawsuit Tension and 'Somebody Loves Me' Contest

Image via:A timely live stream is set for the evening of June 12, 2025, at 8 PM EST on Cenat's official Twitch channel featuring Twitch megastar Kai Cenat and global musical icon Drake . However, while the general public has been clamoring for this pair to break down submissions for the "Somebody Loves Me" music video contest, the timing is especially perfect. The public's interest in Cenat was piqued when he was unexpectedly involved in the high-profile lawsuit with Universal Music Group (UMG). Contest Becomes a Creative Goldmine The livestream is a more prominent fundraising effort for young creative talent. Back in May, Drake and PartyNextDoor started a contest tied to their collaboration on the track "Somebody Loves Me," whereby developing directors were to submit short video treatments. The catch? Creators were to imagine a worthy concept for the actual music video with a production budget of $15,000 only 20 would be selected. From all over the globe, submissions flowed in up to May 24. Due to a large number of entries, the decision was made to postpone one day of the scheduled Livestream originally slated for June 11. The interactive show will continue with Cenat and Drake favorably receiving some entries and giving some form of critique to other entries. Cenat, known for his high-energy streams and cultural commentary, teased the excitement 'First of all Thank you to everyone who shared their video submission for Somebody Loves Me. We were blown away by the creativity and thought poured into each submission... We were suppose to go live today but needed a little extra time to review them. Tomorrow DRAKE & I gonna go through some of the submission with you guys, share some of my favourites and some of the not so good ones and let ya'll know which 20 ppl are is getting money to bring their treatments to life!' Legal Clouds Hover Over Livestream Buzz Unexpected tension is such an addition to this moment by Cenat's recent clashes in UMG's ongoing legal spat over Drake's use of copyrighted material amidst his quarrel with Kendrick Lamar. Earlier during a now-viral stream, Cenat was totally flabbergasted upon discovering his name amongst other creators, RDC World and Zias, on the 81-page lawsuit document! This goes back to the dramatic prelude around Drake's diss track for Kendrick entitled 'Family Matters.' According to Cenat, the Toronto rapper encouraged him to stay live on Twitch until the song dropped-the very act-landed the poor streamer in an unexpected legal mess! High Stakes and Big Opportunity Beyond some rumblings, the stream tonight is more than just damage control. It is a time to celebrate creativity, shed some light, and perhaps change the narrative. For 20 fortunate creatives, it is the moment their vision could be realized into a production through the money of one of music's biggest stars. On one side we have controversy, on the other, pure creative energy. All eyes are on Twitch tonight!
